Второе послание к Тимофею 1

1 павел, апостол Иисус Христов волею Божиею, по обетованию жизни, яже о Христе Иисусе,2 тимофею возлюбленному чаду: благодать, милость, мир от Бога Отца и Христа Иисуса Господа нашего.3 Благодарю Бога, емуже служу от прародителей чистою совестию, яко непрестанную имам о тебе память в молитвах моих день и нощь,4 желая видети тя, поминая слезы твоя, да радости исполнюся,5 воспоминание приемля о сущей в тебе нелицемерней вере, яже вселися прежде в бабу твою лоиду и в матерь твою евникию: известен же есмь, яко и в тебе.6 Еяже ради вины воспоминаю тебе возгревати дар Божий живущий в тебе возложением руку моею:7 не бо даде нам Бог духа страха, но силы и любве и целомудрия.8 Не постыдися убо страстию Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, ни мною юзником его: но спостражди благовествованию (Христову) по силе Бога,9 спасшаго нас и призвавшаго званием святым, не по делом нашым, но по своему благоволению и благодати данней нам о Христе Иисусе прежде лет вечных,10 явльшейся же ныне просвещением спасителя нашего Иисуса Христа, разрушившаго убо смерть и возсиявшаго жизнь и нетление благовествованием,11 в неже поставлен бых аз проповедник и апостол и учитель языков.12 Еяже ради вины и сия стражду: но не стыждуся. Вем бо, емуже веровах, и известихся, яко силен есть предание мое сохранити в день он.13 Образ имей здравых словес, ихже от мене слышал еси, в вере и любви, яже о Христе Иисусе.14 Доброе завещание соблюди духом святым живущим в нас.15 Веси ли сие, яко отвратишася от мене вси, иже от асии, от нихже есть фигелл и ермоген.16 Да даст (же) милость Господь онисифорову дому, яко многажды мя упокои и вериг моих не постыдеся,17 но пришед в рим, тощнее взыска мя и обрете:18 да даст ему Господь обрести милость от Господа в день он: и елико во ефесе послужи ми, добрее ты веси.

2 Timothy 1

Salutation

1 From Paul,t an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to further the promiset of life in Christ Jesus,

2 to Timothy, my dear child. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!

Thanksgiving and Charge to Timothy

3 I am thankful to God, whom I have served with a clear conscience as my ancestors did,t when I remember you in my prayers as I do constantly night and day.t4 As I remember your tears, I long to see you,t so that I may be filled with joy.

5 I recallt your sincere faitht that was alive first in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and I am suret is in you.
6 Because of this I remind you to rekindle God’s gift that you possesst through the laying on of my hands.7 For God did not give us a Spiritt of fear but of power and love and self-control.8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lordt or of me, a prisoner for his sake, but byt God’s power accept your share of sufferingt for the gospel.9 He is the one who saved ust and called us with a holy calling, not based ont our works but on his own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began,t10 but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. Het has broken the power of death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!11 For this gospelt I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher.s12 Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do.t But I am not ashamed, because I know the one in whom my faith is sett and I am convinced that he is able to protect what has been entrusted to mes until that day.s13 Hold to the standardt of sound words that you heard from me and do so with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.ts

14 Protect that good things entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.
15 You know that everyone in the province of Asiat deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.16 May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment.t17 But when he arrived in Rome,s he eagerly searched for me and found me.

18 May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day!s And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.ts
