۲-تِیمُتھِیُس 1
تمہید
1 پَولُس کی طرف سے جو اُس زِندگی کے وعدہ کے مُوافِق جو مسِیح یِسُو ع میں ہے خُدا کی مرضی سے مسِیح یِسُو ع کا رسُول ہے۔
2 پِیارے فرزند تِیمُتِھیُس کے نام ۔
فضل ۔ رَحم اور اِطمِینان خُدا باپ اور ہمارے خُداوند مسِیح یِسُو ع کی طرف سے تُجھے حاصِل ہوتا رہے۔شُکر گُزاری اور حَوصلہ افزائی
3 جِس خُدا کی عِبادت مَیں صاف دِل سے باپ دادا کے طَور پر کرتا ہُوں اُس کا شُکر ہے کہ اپنی دُعاؤں میں بِلاناغہ تُجھے یاد رکھتا ہُوں۔ 4 اور تیرے آنسُوؤں کو یاد کر کے رات دِن تیری مُلاقات کا مُشتاق رہتا ہُوں تاکہ خُوشی سے بھر جاؤں۔ 5 اور مُجھے تیرا وہ بے رِیا اِیمان یاد دِلایا گیا ہے جو پہلے تیری نانی لُوئِس اور تیری ماں یُونِیکے رکھتی تِھیں اور مُجھے یقِین ہے کہ تُو بھی رکھتا ہے۔ 6 اِسی سبب سے مَیں تُجھے یاد دِلاتا ہُوں کہ تُو خُدا کی اُس نِعمت کو چمکا دے جو میرے ہاتھ رکھنے کے باعِث تُجھے حاصِل ہے۔
7 کیونکہ خُدا نے ہمیں دہشت کی رُوح نہیں بلکہ قُدرت اور مُحبّت اور تربِیّت کی رُوح دی ہے۔
8 پس ہمارے خُداوندکی گواہی دینے سے اور مُجھ سے جو اُس کا قَیدی ہُوں شرم نہ کر بلکہ خُدا کی قُدرت کے مُوافِق خُوشخبری کی خاطِر میرے ساتھ دُکھ اُٹھا۔ 9 جِس نے ہمیں نجات دی اور پاک بُلاوے سے بُلایا ہمارے کاموں کے مُوافِق نہیں بلکہ اپنے خاص اِرادہ اور اُس فضل کے مُوافِق جو مسِیح یِسُو ع میں ہم پر ازل سے ہُؤا۔
10 مگر اب ہمارے مُنجّی مسِیح یِسُو ع کے ظہُور سے ظاہِرہُؤا جِس نے مَوت کو نیست اور زِندگی اور بقا کو اُس خُوشخبری کے وسِیلہ سے رَوشن کر دِیا۔
11 جِس کے لِئے مَیں مُنادی کرنے والا اور رسُول اور اُستاد مُقرّر ہُؤا۔ 12 اِسی باعِث سے مَیں یہ دُکھ بھی اُٹھاتا ہُوں لیکن شرماتا نہیں کیونکہ جِس کا مَیں نے یقِین کِیا ہے اُسے جانتا ہُوں اور مُجھے یقِین ہے کہ وہ میری امانت کی اُس دِن تک حِفاظت کر سکتا ہے۔ 13 جو صحِیح باتیں تُو نے مُجھ سے سُنِیں اُس اِیمان اور مُحبّت کے ساتھ جو مسِیح یِسُو ع میں ہے اُن کا خاکہ یاد رکھ۔
14 رُوحُ القُدس کے وسِیلہ سے جو ہم میں بسا ہُؤا ہے اِس اچّھی امانت کی حِفاظت کر۔
15 تُو یہ جانتا ہے کہ آسیہ کے سب لوگ مُجھ سے پِھر گئے ۔ جِن میں سے فُوگلُس اور ہرمُگِنیُس ہیں۔ 16 خُداوند اُنیسِفرُ س کے گھرانے پر رَحم کرے کیونکہ اُس نے بُہت دفعہ مُجھے تازہ دَم کِیا اور میری قَید سے شرمِندہ نہ ہُؤا۔ 17 بلکہ جب وہ روما میں آیا تو کوشِش سے تلاش کر کے مُجھ سے مِلا۔ 18 (خُداوند اُسے یہ بخشے کہ اُس دِن اُس پر خُداوند کا رَحم ہو) اور اُس نے اِفِسُس میں جو جو خِدمتیں کِیں تُو اُنہیں خُوب جانتا ہے۔
2 TIMOTHY 1
1 From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus.
God himself chose me to be an apostle, and he gave me the promised life that Jesus Christ makes possible.
2 t Timothy, you are like a dear child to me. I pray that God our Father and our Lord Christ Jesus will be kind and merciful to you and will bless you with peace!Do Not Be Ashamed //of the Lord
3 Night and day I mention you in my prayers. I am always grateful for you, as I pray to the God my ancestors and I have served with a clear conscience. 4 I remember how you cried, and I want to see you, because this would make me truly happy. 5 t I also remember the genuine faith of your mother Eunice. Your grandmother Lois had the same sort of faith, and I am sure you have it as well. 6 So I ask you to make full use of the gift God gave you when I placed my hands on you.t Use it well.
7 God's Spiritt doesn't make cowards out of us. The Spirit gives us power, love, and self-control.
8 Don't be ashamed to speak for our Lord. And don't be ashamed of me, just because I am in jail for serving him. Use the power that comes from God and join with me in suffering for telling the good news.
9 God saved us and chose us
to be his holy people.
We did nothing
to deserve this,
but God planned it
because he is so kind.
Even before time began
God planned for Christ Jesus
to show kindness to us.
10 Now Christ Jesus has come
to offer us God's gift
of undeserved grace.
Christ our Savior defeated death
and brought us
the good news.
It shines like a light
and offers life
that never ends.
11 t My work is to be a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher.t 12 This is why I am suffering now. But I am not ashamed! I know the one I have faith in, and I am sure he can guard until the last day what he has trusted me with.t 13 Now follow the example of the correct teaching I gave you, and let the faith and love of Christ Jesus be your model.
14 You have been trusted with a wonderful treasure. Guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit, who lives within us.
15 You know that everyone in Asia has turned against me, especially Phygelus and Hermogenes.
16 I pray that the Lord will be kind to the family of Onesiphorus. He often cheered me up and wasn't ashamed of me when I was put in jail. 17 Then after he arrived in Rome, he searched everywhere until he found me. 18 I pray that the Lord Jesus will ask God to show mercy to Onesiphorus on the day of judgment. You know how much he helped me in Ephesus.
