8 จำ_ไว้_ว่า ข่าว_ดี_ที่_ผม_ประกาศ คือ_พระ_เยซูคริสต์_ได้_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา_จาก_ความ_ตาย และ_พระองค์_เป็น_ลูก_หลาน_ของ_ดาวิดt

9 เพราะ_ข่าว_ดี_นี้_แหละ ผม_ถึง_ต้อง_ทน_ทุกข์_อยู่_ตอน_นี้ ถึง_กับ_ถูก_ล่าม_โซ่_เหมือน_กับ_ผู้ร้าย แต่_ถ้อย_คำ_ของ_พระเจ้า_นั้น เอา_โซ่_ล่าม_ไว้_ไม่_อยู่_หรอก_นะ

10 ผม_จึง_ยอม_อดทน_ทุก_อย่าง เพราะ_เห็นแก่_คน_ที่_พระเจ้า_ได้_เลือก_เอา_ไว้ เพื่อ_ที่_ว่า_พวก_เขา_จะ_ได้_รับ_ความ_รอด_ซึ่ง_มี_อยู่_ใน_พระ_เยซูคริสต์_ของ_เรา และ_รับ_สง่าราศี_ตลอด_ไป_ด้วย

11 นี่_เป็น_คำ_พูด_ที่_เชื่อ_ถือ_ได้ คือ
ถ้า_เรา_ตาย_กับ_พระองค์
เรา_ก็_จะ_มี_ชีวิต_กับ_พระองค์

12 ถ้า_เรา_อดทน_ต่อ_ความ_ทุกข์_ยาก
เรา_จะ_ได้_ปก_ครอง_ร่วม_กับ_พระองค์

13 ถ้า_เรา_ไม่ซื่อ_สัตย์
พระองค์_ก็_ยัง_คง_ซื่อ_สัตย์_อยู่_ดี
เพราะ_พระองค์_จะ_ทำ_ตัว_ขัด_กับ_อุปนิสัย_ที่_แท้_จริง_ของ_พระองค์_เอง_ไม่_ได้

คน_งาน_แบบ_ที่_พระเจ้า_ยอมรับ

14 ให้_เตือน_พวก_เขา_บ่อยๆ_ใน_เรื่อง_พวก_นี้ และ_ตัก_เตือน_พวก_เขา_ต่อหน้า_พระเจ้า_ว่า อย่า_ถกเถียง_กัน_ใน_เรื่อง_คำ_พูด มัน_ไม่_มี_ประโยชน์_อะไร มี_แต่_จะ_ทำลาย_คน_ฟัง_เท่า_นั้น

15 พยายาม_เต็ม_ที่_ให้_เป็น_คน_ที่_พระเจ้า_รับรอง เป็น_คน_งาน_ที่_ไม่_มี_อะไร_ต้อง_อาย และ_เป็น_คน_งาน_ที่_สอน_ถ้อย_คำ_แห่ง_ความ_จริง_ของ_พระเจ้า_ได้_อย่าง_ถูกต้อง

16 แต่_ให้_หลีก_เลี่ยง_จาก_การ_พูด_คุย_ที่_หยาบช้า_และ_ไม่_เกรง_กลัว_พระเจ้า เพราะ_ยิ่ง_พูด_ก็_ยิ่ง_ไม่_ยำเกรง_พระเจ้า

17 คำ_สอน_ของ_พวก_เขา_ก็_จะ_ลาม_ไป_ทั่ว_เหมือน_กับ_มะเร็ง ฮีเมเนอัส_และ_ฟีเลทัส_ก็_รวม_อยู่_ใน_คน_พวก_นั้น_ด้วย

18 สอง_คน_นี้_ได้_หลง_ไป_จาก_ความ_จริง เขา_พูด_ว่า_การ_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา_จาก_ความ_ตาย_สำหรับ_เรา_นั้น_ได้_เกิด_ขึ้น_ไป_แล้ว สอง_คน_นี้_ได้_ทำลาย_ความ_เชื่อ_ของ_บาง_คน_ไป

19 อย่าง_ไร_ก็_ตาม ราก_ฐานt _ที่_แข็งแกร่ง_ของ_พระเจ้า_ยัง_ยืนหยัด_อย่าง_มั่นคง และ_ยัง_มี_ข้อ_ความ_จารึก_ไว้_ว่า “องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต รู้จัก_คน_เหล่า_นั้น_ที่_เป็น_ของ_พระองค์”t และ “ให้_คน_ที่_อ้าง_ว่า_เป็น_คน_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต เลิก_ทำ_ชั่ว_ทุก_ชนิด”

20 ใน_บ้าน_หลัง_ใหญ่ ไม่_ได้_มี_แต่_ของใช้_ที่_ทำ_จาก_ทอง_และ_เงิน_เท่า_นั้น แต่_ยัง_มี_ของใช้_ที่_ทำ_จาก_ไม้_และ_ดิน_เหนียว_ด้วย ของใช้_บาง_อย่าง_ก็_ใช้_สำหรับ_งาน_พิเศษ_ต่างๆ_และ_บาง_อย่าง_ก็_ใช้_สำหรับ_งาน_ประจำ_วัน

21 ดัง_นั้น ถ้า_คน_ไหน_ได้_ชำระ_ล้าง_ตน_เอง_จาก_สิ่ง_ที่_ชั่ว_ร้าย_เหล่า_นี้_แล้ว คน_นั้น_ก็_จะ_เป็น_ของใช้_ที่_ใช้_สำหรับ_งาน_ที่_พิเศษ เขา_จะ_เป็น_คน_ของ_พระเจ้า เป็น_ประโยชน์_สำหรับ_เจ้า_ของ และ_พร้อม_สำหรับ_การ_งาน_ที่_ดี_ทุก_อย่าง

22 ให้_วิ่ง_หนี_จาก_ราคะ_ตัณหา_ของ_คน_หนุ่ม_สาว แต่_ไล่_ตาม_สิ่ง_ที่_ถูกต้อง เช่น_ความ_เชื่อ ความ_รัก และ_สันติสุข ร่วม_กับ_คน_เหล่า_นั้น_ที่_ร้อง_เรียก_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ด้วย_ใจ_ที่_สะอาด_บริสุทธิ์

23 อย่า_ไป_ยุ่ง_เกี่ยว_กับ_การ_โต้เถียง_ที่_เหลว_ไหล_และ_โง่_เขลา เพราะ_คุณ_ก็_รู้_ว่า_มัน_จะ_ทำ_ให้_เกิด_การ_ทะเลาะ_วิวาท_กัน

24 ส่วน_ผู้รับใช้_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ต้อง_ไม่_ทะเลาะ_วิวาท แต่_ต้อง_สุภาพ_กับ_ทุก_คน ต้อง_สอน_คน_อื่น_ได้ และ_ต้อง_อดทน

25 เขา_จะ_ต้อง_สอน_คน_ที่_ต่อ_ต้าน_เขา_อย่าง_ใจเย็น ด้วย_หวัง_ว่า_พระเจ้า_จะ_ทำ_ให้_คน_พวก_นี้_กลับ_ตัว_กลับ_ใจ และ_ได้_รู้_ถึง_ความ_จริง

26 ซึ่ง_จะ_ช่วย_ให้_พวก_นี้_ได้_สติ_คืน_มา_อีก_ครั้ง_หนึ่ง และ_หลุดพ้น_จาก_กับดัก_ของ_มาร_ที่_จับ_พวก_เขา_ไว้_ให้_ทำ_ตามใจ_ของ_มัน

2 Timothy 2

Be Strong

1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.3 Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.5 Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules.6 The hard-working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops.7 Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.

8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David, according to my gospel,9 for which I suffer hardship even to imprisonment as a criminal; but the word of God is not imprisoned.10 For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.11 It is a trustworthy statement:
For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;

12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him;
If we deny Him, He also will deny us;

13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

An Unashamed Workman

14 Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.16 But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,17 and their talk will spread like tgangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,18  men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset the faith of some.19 Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness."

20 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor.21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.22 Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.23 But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.24 The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.
