Carácter y Conducta de los Hombres en los Ultimos Días

1 Pero debes saber (comprender) esto: que en los últimos días vendrán tiempos difíciles.2 Porque los hombres serán amadores de sí mismos, avaros, jactanciosos, soberbios, blasfemos, desobedientes a los padres, ingratos, irreverentes,3 sin amor, implacables, calumniadores, desenfrenados, salvajes, aborrecedores de lo bueno,4 traidores, impetuosos, envanecidos, amadores de los placeres en vez de amadores de Dios;

5 teniendo apariencia de piedad (religión), pero habiendo negado su poder. A los tales evita.
6 Porque entre ellos están los que se meten en las casas y se llevan cautivas a mujercillas cargadas de pecados, llevadas por diversas pasiones,7 que siempre están aprendiendo, pero nunca pueden llegar al pleno conocimiento de la verdad.8 Y así como Janes y Jambres se opusieron a Moisés, de la misma manera éstos también se oponen a la verdad. Son hombres de mente depravada, reprobados en lo que respecta a la fe.

9 Pero no progresarán más, pues su insensatez será manifiesta a todos, como también sucedió con la de aquellos dos .

10 Pero tú has seguido mi enseñanza, mi conducta, propósito, fe, paciencia, amor, perseverancia,11 mis persecuciones, sufrimientos, como los que me acaecieron en Antioquía, en Iconio y en Listra. ¡Qué persecuciones sufrí! Y de todas ellas me libró el Señor.12 Y en verdad, todos los que quieren vivir piadosamente en Cristo Jesús, serán perseguidos.13 Pero los hombres malos e impostores irán de mal en peor, engañando y siendo engañados.14 Tú, sin embargo, persiste en las cosas que has aprendido y de las cuales te convenciste, sabiendo de quiénes las has aprendido.

15 Desde la niñez has sabido las Sagradas Escrituras, las cuales te pueden dar la sabiduría que lleva a la salvación mediante la fe en Cristo Jesús.
16 Toda Escritura es inspirada por Dios y útil para enseñar, para reprender, para corregir, para instruir en justicia,17 a fin de que el hombre de Dios sea perfecto (apto), equipado para toda buena obra.

2 Timothy 3

1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.8 And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith.9 But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.10 But thou didst follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,11 persecutions, sufferings. What things befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.12 Yea, and all that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.13 But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.14 But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.15 And that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.17 That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
