อุปนิสัยของคนในวาระสุดท้าย
1 แต่จงเข้าใจข้อนี้คือ วาระสุดท้ายนั้นจะเป็นเวลาที่น่ากลัว 2 เพราะผู้คนจะเห็นแก่ตัว รักเงินทอง โอ้อวด หยิ่งยโส ชอบดูหมิ่น ไม่เชื่อฟังพ่อแม่ อกตัญญู ชั่วร้าย 3 ไร้มนุษยธรรม ไม่ให้อภัยกัน ใส่ร้ายกัน ไม่ยับยั้งชั่งใจ ดุร้าย เกลียดชังความดี 4 ทรยศ มุทะลุ โอหัง รักความสนุกมากกว่ารักพระเจ้า 5 ยึดถือทางพระเจ้าแต่เพียงเปลือกนอก แต่ปฏิเสธฤทธิ์เดชของทางนั้น จงอย่าเกี่ยวข้องกับคนพวกนั้น 6 เพราะในพวกนั้นมีบางคนที่แอบไปตามบ้าน แล้วครอบงำบรรดาผู้หญิงเบาปัญญาที่หนาด้วยบาปและหลงใหลไปตามตัณหาต่างๆ 7 หญิงพวกนี้ร่ำเรียนอยู่เสมอ แต่ไม่สามารถเข้าใจหลักความจริงได้เลย 8 ยันเนสกับยัมเบรส์เคยต่อต้านโมเสสอย่างไรt คนพวกนี้ก็ต่อต้านความจริงอย่างนั้น จิตใจของเขาเสื่อมทรามและปราศจากความเชื่อที่แท้จริง 9 แต่เขาจะไปได้ไม่ไกล เพราะความโง่ของพวกเขาจะปรากฏต่อทุกคนเช่นเดียวกับความโง่ของชายสองคนนั้น

10 แต่ท่านก็ได้ดำเนินตามสิ่งต่างๆ เหล่านี้ของข้าพเจ้าอยู่แล้ว คือดำเนินตามพฤติกรรม เป้าหมายชีวิตt ความเชื่อ ความอดทน ความรัก ความทรหดอดทน 11 การถูกข่มเหง และการทนทุกข์ซึ่งเกิดขึ้นกับข้าพเจ้าทั้งในเมืองอันทิโอกt เมืองอิโคนียูมtและเมืองลิสตราt การข่มเหงที่ข้าพเจ้าทนนั้นมากเพียงไร แต่ถึงกระนั้นก็ดี องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าโปรดให้ข้าพเจ้ารอดพ้นจากทุกสิ่ง 12 แท้จริงทุกคนที่ตั้งใจจะดำเนินชีวิตตามทางพระเจ้าในพระเยซูคริสต์จะถูกข่มเหง 13 ในขณะที่คนชั่วและคนเจ้าเล่ห์จะเลวลงกว่าเก่า อีกทั้งยังล่อลวงคนอื่นและถูกคนอื่นล่อลวงด้วย 14 แต่ท่านจงดำเนินต่อไปในสิ่งที่ได้เรียนรู้แล้วและเชื่ออย่างมั่นคง และท่านก็รู้ว่าท่านเรียนมาจากใคร 15 และตั้งแต่เด็กมาแล้ว ท่านก็ได้เรียนรู้พระคัมภีร์อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ซึ่งสามารถให้ปัญญาแก่ท่านในเรื่องความรอดโดยความเชื่อในพระเยซูคริสต์ 16 พระคัมภีร์ทุกตอนได้รับการดลใจจากพระเจ้า และtเป็นประโยชน์ในการสอน การตักเตือนว่ากล่าว การแก้ไขสิ่งผิด และการอบรมในความชอบธรรม 17 เพื่อคนของพระเจ้าจะมีความสามารถและพรักพร้อมเพื่อการดีทุกอย่าง
2 Timothy 3
1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away.6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.8 And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith.9 But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.10 But thou didst follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,11 persecutions, sufferings. What things befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.12 Yea, and all that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.13 But evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.14 But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.15 And that from a babe thou hast known the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.17 That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
