Psalm 30
1 I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up,2 O Jehovah my God,3 O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol;4 Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his,5 For his anger is but for a moment;6 As for me, I said in my prosperity,7 Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong:8 I cried to thee, O Jehovah;9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit?10 Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing;12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent.
Psalm 31
1 In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge;2 Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily:3 For thou art my rock and my fortress;4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid privily for me;5 Into thy hand I commend my spirit:6 I hate them that regard lying vanities;7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness;8 And thou hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy;9 Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am in distress:10 For my life is spent with sorrow,11 Because of all mine adversaries I am become a reproach,12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind:13 For I have heard the defaming of many,14 But I trusted in thee, O Jehovah:15 My times are in thy hand:16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:17 Let me not be put to shame, O Jehovah; for I have called upon thee:18 Let the lying lips be dumb,19 Oh how great is thy goodness,20 In the covert of thy presence wilt thou hide them from the plottings of man:21 Blessed be Jehovah;22 As for me, I said in my haste,23 Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints:24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
Psalm 32
1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,2 Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity,3 When I kept silence, my bones wasted away4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me:
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee,
6 For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found:7 Thou art my hiding-place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble;
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding;10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked;11 Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous;
