Colosenses 4

1  Amos, sean justos e imparciales con sus esclavos. Recuerden que ustedes también tienen un Amo en el cielo.

Aliento para orar

2 Dedíquense a la oración con una mente alerta y un corazón agradecido. 3 Oren también por nosotros, para que Dios nos dé muchas oportunidades para hablar de su misterioso plan acerca de Cristo. Por eso estoy aquí en cadenas. 4 Oren para que pueda proclamar ese mensaje con la claridad que debo hacerlo.

5 Vivan sabiamente entre los que no creen en Cristo y aprovechen al máximo cada oportunidad. 6 Que sus conversaciones sean cordiales y agradables,t a fin de que ustedes tengan la respuesta adecuada para cada persona.

Instrucciones finales y saludos de Pablo

7 Tíquico les contará con detalles cómo me va. Él es un amado hermano y un fiel colaborador que sirve conmigo en la obra del Señor. 8 Precisamente lo envié para que les cuente cómo estamos y los anime. 9 También les envío a Onésimo, un fiel y amado hermano, quien es uno de ustedes. Él y Tíquico les contarán todo lo que sucede aquí.

10 Aristarco, quien está en la cárcel conmigo, les manda saludos; y también los saluda Marcos, el primo de Bernabé. Tal como ya se les indicó, si Marcos pasa por allí, hagan que se sienta bienvenido. 11 Jesús (al que llamamos Justo) también envía saludos. Ellos son los únicos creyentes judíos entre mis colaboradores; trabajan aquí conmigo para el reino de Dios. ¡Y qué consuelo han sido para mí!

12 Les manda saludos Epafras, un miembro de la misma comunidad de fe que ustedes y siervo de Cristo Jesús. Siempre ora con fervor por ustedes y le pide a Dios que los fortalezca y perfeccione, y les dé la plena confianza de que están cumpliendo toda la voluntad de Dios. 13 Puedo asegurarles que él ora intensamente por ustedes y también por los creyentes en Laodicea y Hierápolis.

14 Les manda saludos Lucas, el médico amado, y también Demas. 15 Les ruego que saluden de mi parte a nuestros hermanos en Laodicea, y también a Ninfas y a la iglesia que se reúne en su casa.

16 Una vez que hayan leído esta carta, pásenla a la iglesia en Laodicea para que ellos también puedan leerla. Y ustedes deberían leer la carta que les escribí a ellos.

17 Además, díganle a Arquipo: «Asegúrate de llevar a cabo el ministerio que el Señor te dio».

COLOSSIANS 4

1  t Slave owners, be fair and honest with your slaves. Don't forget that you have a Master in heaven.
2 Never give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful. 3 Be sure to pray that God will make a way for us to spread his message and explain the mystery about Christ, even though I am in jail for doing this.

4 Please pray that I will make the message as clear as possible.
5  t When you are with unbelievers, always make good use of the time.

6 t Be pleasant and hold their interest when you speak the message. Choose your words carefully and be ready to give answers to anyone who asks questions.

Final Greetings

9 t Onesimus, the dear and faithful follower from your own group, is coming with him. The two of them will tell you everything that has happened here.
10  t Aristarchus is in jail with me. He sends greetings to you, and so does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. You have already been told to welcome Mark, if he visits you.

11 Jesus, who is known as Justus, sends his greetings. These three men are the only Jewish followers who have worked with me for the kingdom of God. They have given me much comfort.
12  t Your own Epaphras, who serves Christ Jesus, sends his greetings. He always prays hard that you may fully know what the Lord wants you to do and that you may do it completely.

13 I have seen how much trouble he has gone through for you and for the followers in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

14  t Our dear doctor Luke sends you his greetings, and so does Demas.

15 Give my greetings to the followers at Laodicea, especially to Nympha and the church that meets in her home.

16 After this letter has been read to your people, be sure to have it read in the church at Laodicea. And you should read the letter that I have sent to them.t

17  t Remind Archippus to do the work that the Lord has given him to do.
