Colosenses 4

1 Ustedes los amos, sean rectos y justos con sus siervos, pues ya saben que tienen un Amo en los cielos.t

2 Dedíquense a la oración, y sean constantes en sus acciones de gracias.3 Oren también por nosotros, para que el Señor nos abra las puertas y prediquemos la palabra, para que demos a conocer el misterio de Cristo, por el cual también estoy preso.4 Oren para que pueda proclamarlo como debo hacerlo.

5 Compórtense sabiamente con los no creyentes, y aprovechen bien el tiempo.t6 Procuren que su conversación siempre sea agradable y de buen gusto, para que den a cada uno la respuesta debida.

Salutaciones finales

7 Nuestro querido hermano Tíquico,t fiel ministro y consiervo en el Señor, les llevará noticias mías.8 Lo envío a ustedes para que les cuente cómo estamos y reanime su corazón.t9 Lo acompaña Onésimo,t querido y fiel hermano, que es uno de ustedes. Ellos les contarán todo lo que sucede aquí.

10 Los saluda Aristarco,t mi compañero de prisión, lo mismo que Marcos,t el sobrino de Bernabé, acerca del cual ya han recibido instrucciones. Si Marcos va a visitarlos, recíbanlo bien.11 También los saluda Jesús, llamado el Justo. Éstos son los únicos judíos que me ayudan en el reino de Dios, y para mí han sido un gran consuelo.12 Los saluda Epafras,t que es uno de ustedes. En sus oraciones, este siervo de Cristo siempre está rogando por ustedes con gran preocupación, para que ustedes se mantengan firmes y sean completamente perfectos en todo lo que Dios quiere.13 Yo soy testigo de que él se preocupa mucho por ustedes, y por los que están en Laodicea y Hierápolis.14 Los saluda Lucas,t el médico amado, y Demas.t15 Saluden a los hermanos que están en Laodicea, y a Ninfas y a la iglesia que se reúne en su casa.16 Una vez que esta carta haya sido leída entre ustedes, asegúrense de que se lea también en la iglesia de los laodicenses, y que la carta de Laodicea la lean también ustedes.17 Díganle a Arquipot que no deje de cumplir con el ministerio que recibió del Señor.

18 Yo, Pablo, escribo este saludo de mi puño y letra. Recuerden que estoy preso. Que la gracia sea con ustedes. Amén.

COLOSSIANS 4

1  t Slave owners, be fair and honest with your slaves. Don't forget that you have a Master in heaven.
2 Never give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful. 3 Be sure to pray that God will make a way for us to spread his message and explain the mystery about Christ, even though I am in jail for doing this.

4 Please pray that I will make the message as clear as possible.
5  t When you are with unbelievers, always make good use of the time.

6 t Be pleasant and hold their interest when you speak the message. Choose your words carefully and be ready to give answers to anyone who asks questions.

Final Greetings

9 t Onesimus, the dear and faithful follower from your own group, is coming with him. The two of them will tell you everything that has happened here.
10  t Aristarchus is in jail with me. He sends greetings to you, and so does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. You have already been told to welcome Mark, if he visits you.

11 Jesus, who is known as Justus, sends his greetings. These three men are the only Jewish followers who have worked with me for the kingdom of God. They have given me much comfort.
12  t Your own Epaphras, who serves Christ Jesus, sends his greetings. He always prays hard that you may fully know what the Lord wants you to do and that you may do it completely.

13 I have seen how much trouble he has gone through for you and for the followers in Laodicea and Hierapolis.

14  t Our dear doctor Luke sends you his greetings, and so does Demas.

15 Give my greetings to the followers at Laodicea, especially to Nympha and the church that meets in her home.

16 After this letter has been read to your people, be sure to have it read in the church at Laodicea. And you should read the letter that I have sent to them.t

17  t Remind Archippus to do the work that the Lord has given him to do.
