以弗所书 3
保罗向外邦人传福音
1 因此，我—保罗为你们外邦人作了基督耶稣t囚徒的，替你们祈祷t。 2 想你们必曾听见上帝赐恩给我，把关切你们的职分托付我， 3 用启示让我知道福音的奥秘，正如我以前略略写过的。 4 你们读了，就会知道我深深了解基督的奥秘； 5 这奥秘在以前的世代没有让人知道，像如今藉着圣灵向他的圣使徒和先知启示一样， 6 就是外邦人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音，得以同为后嗣，同为一体，同为蒙应许的人。 7 我作了这福音的仆役，是照着上帝的恩赐，是照他运行的大能赐给我的。 8 虽然我比众圣徒中最小的还小，他还赐我这恩典，让我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外邦人， 9 又使众人都明白t什么是历代以来隐藏在创造万物之上帝里的奥秘， 10 为要在现今藉着教会使天上执政的、掌权的知道上帝百般的智慧。 11 这是照着上帝在我们主基督耶稣里所完成的永恒的计划。 12 我们因信耶稣t，就在他里面放胆无惧，满有自信地进到上帝面前。 13 所以我求你们，不要因我为你们所受的患难丧胆；这原是你们的光荣。
明白基督的爱
14 因此，我在父面前屈膝— 15 天上地上的各家都是从他得名的－ 16 为要他按着他丰盛的荣耀，藉着他的灵，使你们内心的力量刚强起来； 17 又要他使基督因着你们的信住在你们心里，使你们既在爱中生根立基， 18-19 能够和众圣徒一同明白基督的爱是何等的长、阔、高、深，并知道这爱是超过人的知识所能测度的，为要使你们充满上帝一切的丰盛。
20 上帝能照着运行在我们心里的大能充充足足地成就一切，超过我们所求所想的。 21 愿他在教会中，并在基督耶稣里，得着荣耀，直到世世代代，永永远远。阿们！
EPHESIANS 3
Paul's Mission to //the Gentiles
1 Christ Jesus made me his prisoner, so I could help you Gentiles. 2 You have surely heard about God's gift of undeserved grace in choosing me to help you. 3 In fact, this letter tells you a little about how God has shown me his mysterious ways. 4 t As you read the letter, you will also find out how well I really do understand the mystery about Christ. 5 No one knew about this mystery until God's Spirit told it to his holy apostles and prophets.
6 And the mystery is this: Because of Christ Jesus, the good news has given the Gentiles a share in the promises God gave to the Jews. God has also let the Gentiles be part of the same body.
7 God treated me with kindness. His power worked in me, and it became my job to spread the good news. 8 I am the least important of all God's people. But God was kind and chose me to tell the Gentiles that because of Christ there are blessings that cannot be measured. 9 t God, who created everything, wanted me to help everyone understand the mysterious plan that had always been hidden in his mind.
10 Then God would use the church to show the powers and authorities in the spiritual world that he has many different kinds of wisdom.
11 God did this according to his eternal plan. And he was able to do what he had planned because of all Christ Jesus our Lord had done. 12 Christ now gives us courage and confidence, so we can come to God by faith.
13 This is why you should not be discouraged when I suffer for you. After all, it will bring honor to you.Christ's Love for Us
14 I kneel in prayer to the Father. 15 All beings in heaven and on earth receive their life from him.t 16 God is wonderful and glorious. I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers 17 and that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. Stand firm and be deeply rooted in his love. 18 t I pray that you and all God's people will understand what is called wide or long or high or deep.t
19 I want you to know all about Christ's love, although it is too wonderful to be measured. Then your lives will be filled with all that God is.
20-21 I pray that Christ Jesus and the church will forever bring praise to God. His power at work in us can do far more than we dare ask or imagine. Amen.
