Efesios 3
Misión de Pablo a los no judíos
1 Así que yo, Pablo, soy prisionero de Jesucristo para bien de ustedes que no son judíos.2 Seguramente habrán oído del trabajo que Dios, en su generoso amort, me ha dado para ayudarles a ustedes.3 Por revelación, él me dio a conocer su plan secreto, como antes les escribí brevemente.4 Si ustedes leen lo que escribí, podrán captar cómo entiendo el plan secreto que se ha dado a conocer con Cristo.5 En otras generaciones ese plan secreto no se dio a conocer a la gente, pero ahora Dios, por medio del Espíritu, lo ha revelado a los santos apóstoles y profetas.
6 Este es el plan secreto: los que no son judíos recibirán lo mismo que Dios les ha prometido a los judíos. Los judíos y los que no son judíos son miembros del mismo cuerpo y participan juntos de la promesa que Dios hizo en Jesucristo. Los que no son judíos reciben todo esto por medio de la buena noticiat de salvación.
7 Por el generoso amor de Dios quien quiso actuar en mí con poder, recibí el don de ser un siervo dedicado a anunciar la buena noticia de salvación.8 Aunque soy el menos importante del pueblo de Dios, él me concedió el privilegio de anunciar a los que no son judíos la buena noticia de las infinitas riquezas de Cristo.9 Dios me encargó el trabajo de sacar a la luz su plan secreto, pues él, Creador de todo lo que existe, tenía oculto su plan desde el principio.10 Esto sucedió para que todas las autoridades y poderes en el cielo conocieran por medio de la iglesiat la sabiduría de Dios en todas sus formas.11 Esto está de acuerdo con el plan eterno que Dios cumple en Nuestro Señor Jesucristo.12 Por nuestra fe en Cristot tenemos la libertad de presentarnos ante Dios con plena confianza para hablar con él.
13 Por eso les ruego que no se desanimen por los sufrimientos que soporto por ustedes; al contrario, mis sufrimientos deben ser un honor para ustedes.
El amor de Cristo
14 Por eso me arrodillo para orar ante el Padre,15 de quien toda familia en el cielo y en la tierra recibe su verdadero nombre.16 A él le pido que en su infinita grandezat les conceda a ustedes fortaleza interior a través del Espíritu.17 Pido al Padre que Cristo viva en ustedes por la fe y que su amor sea la raíz y el cimiento de su vida.18 Así podrán comprender con todo el pueblo santot de Dios cuán ancho y largo, cuán alto y profundo, es su amor.
19 El amor de Cristo es tan grande que supera todo conocimiento. Pero a pesar de eso, pido a Dios que lo puedan conocer, de manera que se llenen completamente de todo lo que Dios es.
20 Por el poder de Dios que obra en nosotros, él puede hacer mucho más de lo que jamás podríamos pedir o imaginar.
21 ¡Gloria a Dios en la iglesiat y en Jesucristo por todas las generaciones para siempre! Así sea.t
Ephesians 3
Paul's Stewardship
1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles-2 if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you;3 that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief.4 By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel,7 of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace which was given to me according to the working of His power.8 To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things;10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.13 Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
