Efesios 6

1 Hijos, obedeced a vuestros padres en el Señor, porque esto es justo.2 Honra a tu padre y a tu madre (que es el primer mandamiento con promesa),3 para que te vaya bien, y para que tengas larga vida sobre la tierra.

4 Y vosotros, padres, no provoquéis a ira a vuestros hijos, sino criadlos en la disciplina e instrucción del Señor.
5 Siervos, obedeced a vuestros amos en la tierra, con temor y temblor, con la sinceridad de vuestro corazón, como a Cristo;6 no para ser vistos, como los que quieren agradar a los hombres, sino como siervos de Cristo, haciendo de corazón la voluntad de Dios.7 Servid de buena voluntad, como al Señor y no a los hombres,8 sabiendo que cualquier cosa buena que cada uno haga, esto recibirá del Señor, sea siervo o sea libre.

9 Y vosotros, amos, haced lo mismo con ellos, y dejad las amenazas, sabiendo que el Señor de ellos y de vosotros está en los cielos, y que para El no hay acepción de personas.
10 Por lo demás, fortaleceos en el Señor y en el poder de su fuerza.11 Revestíos con toda la armadura de Dios para que podáis estar firmes contra las insidias del diablo.12 Porque nuestra lucha no es contra sangre y carne, sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra los poderes de este mundo de tinieblas, contra las huestes espirituales de maldad en las regiones celestiales.13 Por tanto, tomad toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis resistir en el día malo, y habiéndolo hecho todo, estar firmes.14 Estad, pues, firmes, ceñida vuestra cintura con la verdad, revestidos con la coraza de la justicia,15 y calzados los pies con el apresto del evangelio de la paz;16 en todo, tomando el escudo de la fe con el que podréis apagar todos los dardos encendidos del maligno.17 Tomad también el yelmo de la salvacion, y la espada del Espíritu que es la palabra de Dios.18 Con toda oración y súplica orad en todo tiempo en el Espíritu, y así, velad con toda perseverancia y súplica por todos los santos;19 y orad por mí, para que me sea dada palabra al abrir mi boca, a fin de dar a conocer sin temor el misterio del evangelio,

20 por el cual soy embajador en cadenas; que al proclamar lo hable con denuedo, como debo hablar.
21 Pero a fin de que también vosotros sepáis mi situación y lo que hago, todo os lo hará saber Tíquico, amado hermano y fiel ministro en el Señor,

22 a quien he enviado a vosotros precisamente para esto, para que sepáis de nosotros y para que consuele vuestros corazones.
23 Paz sea a los hermanos, y amor con fe de Dios el Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.24 La gracia sea con todos los que aman a nuestro Señor Jesucristo con amor incorruptible.

Ephesians 6

1 Children,t obey your parents in the Lords for this is right.2 “Honor your father and mother,”s which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely,

3 “that it may gotwell with you and that you will liveta long time on the earth.”s

4 Fathers,t do not provoke your children to anger,t but raise them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
5 Slaves,t obey your human masterst with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart as to Christ,6 not like those who do their work only when someone is watchingt – as people-pleasers – but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.t7 Obeyt with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lordt and not people,

8 because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, thiss will be rewarded by the Lord.

9 Masters,t treat your slavest the same way,t giving up the use of threats,t because you know that both you and they have the same master in heaven,t and there is no favoritism with him.

Exhortations for Spiritual Warfare

10 Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.11 Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemest of the devil.12 For our strugglet is not against flesh and blood,t but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness,ts against the spiritual forcest of evil in the heavens.s13 For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your groundt on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.14 Stand firm therefore, by fastenings the belt of truth around your waist,t by putting on the breastplate of righteousness,15 by fitting yourt feet with the preparation that comes from the good newst of peace,t16 and in all of this,t by taking up the shields of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17 And take the helmet of salvations and the swords of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 With every prayer and petition, prayt at all times in the Spirit, and to this endt be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.19 Prayt for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speakt – that I may confidently make knownt the mystery of the gospel,

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.

21 Tychicus, myt dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make everything known to you, so that you too may know about my circumstances,t how I am doing.

22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our circumstancest and that he may encourage your hearts.
23 Peace to the brothers and sisters,t and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Grace bet with all of those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.st
