Llamamiento de Ezequiel

1 Esa voz me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, ponte en pie, que voy a hablarte.»
2 Mientras me hablaba, el Espíritu entró en mí, hizo que me pusiera de pie, y pude oír al que me hablaba. 3 Me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, te voy a enviar a los israelitas. Es una nación rebelde que se ha sublevado contra mí. Ellos y sus antepasados se han rebelado contra mí hasta el día de hoy. 4 Te estoy enviando a un pueblo obstinado y terco, al que deberás advertirle: “Así dice el Señor omnipotente.” 5 Tal vez te escuchen, tal vez no, pues son un pueblo rebelde; pero al menos sabrán que entre ellos hay un profeta. 6 Tú, hijo de hombre, no tengas miedo de ellos ni de sus palabras, por más que estés en medio de cardos y espinas, y vivas rodeado de escorpiones. No temas por lo que digan, ni te sientas atemorizado, porque son un pueblo obstinado. 7 Tal vez te escuchen, tal vez no, pues son un pueblo rebelde; pero tú les proclamarás mis palabras. 8 Tú, hijo de hombre, atiende bien a lo que te voy a decir, y no seas rebelde como ellos. Abre tu boca y come lo que te voy a dar.»
9 Entonces miré, y vi que una mano con un rollo escrito se extendía hacia mí. 10 La mano abrió ante mis ojos el rollo, el cual estaba escrito por ambos lados, y contenía lamentos, gemidos y amenazas.

Ezekiel’s Commission

1 He said to me, “Son of man,s stand on your feet and I will speak with you.”

2 As he spoke to me,s a windt came into me and stood me on my feet, and I heard the one speaking to me.
3 He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the houses of Israel, to rebellious nationss who have rebelled against me; both they and their fathers have revoltedst against me to this very day.4 The peoplet to whom I am sending you are obstinate and hard-hearted,s and you must say to them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says.’t5 And as for them,t whether they listent or not – for they are a rebellioust houses – they will know that a prophet has been among them.6 But you, son of man, do not fear them, and do not fear their words – even though brierst and thornsts surround you and you live among scorpions – do not fear their words and do not be terrified of the looks they give you,t for they are a rebellious house!7 You must speak my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.

8 As for you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you: Do not rebel like that rebellious house! Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”
9 Then I looked and realized a hand was stretched out to me, and in it was a written scroll.

10 He unrolled it before me, and it had writing on the frontt and back;s written on it were laments, mourning, and woe.
