Ezequiel 2

1 Y DIJOME: Hijo del hombre, está sobre tus pies, y hablaré contigo.2 Y entró espíritu en mí luego que me habló, y afirmóme sobre mis pies, y oía al que me hablaba.3 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, yo te envío á los hijos de Israel, á gentes rebeldes que se rebelaron contra mí: ellos y sus padres se han rebelado contra mí hasta este mismo día.4 Yo pues te envío á hijos de duro rostro y de empedernido corazón; y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová.5 Acaso ellos escuchen; y si no escucharen, (porque son una rebelde familia,) siempre conocerán que hubo profeta entre ellos.

6 Y tú, hijo del hombre, no temas de ellos, ni tengas miedo de sus palabras, aunque te hallas entre zarzas y espinas, y tú moras con escorpiones: no tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son casa rebelde.

7 Les hablarás pues mis palabras, escuchen ó dejen de escuchar; porque son muy rebeldes.

8 Mas tú, hijo del hombre, oye lo que yo te hablo; no seas tú rebelde como la casa rebelde: abre tu boca, y come lo que yo te doy.

9 Y miré, y he aquí una mano me fué enviada, y en ella había un rollo de libro.

10 Y extendiólo delante de mí, y estaba escrito delante y detrás: y había escritas en él endechas, y lamentación, y ayes.

Ezekiel 2

Ezekiel’s Commission

1 He said to me, “Son of man,s stand on your feet and I will speak with you.”

2 As he spoke to me,s a windt came into me and stood me on my feet, and I heard the one speaking to me.
3 He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the houses of Israel, to rebellious nationss who have rebelled against me; both they and their fathers have revoltedst against me to this very day.4 The peoplet to whom I am sending you are obstinate and hard-hearted,s and you must say to them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says.’t5 And as for them,t whether they listent or not – for they are a rebellioust houses – they will know that a prophet has been among them.6 But you, son of man, do not fear them, and do not fear their words – even though brierst and thornsts surround you and you live among scorpions – do not fear their words and do not be terrified of the looks they give you,t for they are a rebellious house!7 You must speak my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.

8 As for you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you: Do not rebel like that rebellious house! Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”
9 Then I looked and realized a hand was stretched out to me, and in it was a written scroll.

10 He unrolled it before me, and it had writing on the frontt and back;s written on it were laments, mourning, and woe.
