갈라디아서 6

서로 짐을 져 줍시다

1  t형제자매 여러분, 어떤 사람이 어떤 죄에 빠진 일이 드러나면, t성령의 인도하심을 따라 사는 사람인 여러분은 온유한 마음으로 그런 사람을 바로잡아 주고, 자기 스스로를 살펴서, 유혹에 빠지지 않도록 조심하십시오. 2 여러분은 서로 남의 짐을 져 주십시오. 그렇게 하면 여러분이 그리스도의 법을 t성취하실 것입니다. 3 어떤 사람이 아무것도 아니면서 무엇이 된 것처럼 생각하면, 그는 자기를 속이는 것입니다. 4 각 사람은 자기 일을 살펴보십시오. 그러면 자기에게는 자랑거리가 있더라도, 남에게까지 자랑할 것은 없을 것입니다. 5 사람은 각각 자기 몫의 짐을 져야 합니다. 6 말씀을 배우는 사람은 가르치는 사람과 모든 좋은 것을 함께 나누어야 합니다. 7 자기를 속이지 마십시오. 하나님은 조롱을 받으실 분이 아니십니다. 사람은 무엇을 심든지, 심은 대로 거둘 것입니다. 8 자기 육체에다 심는 사람은 육체에서 썩을 것을 거두고, 성령에다 심는 사람은 성령에게서 영생을 거둘 것입니다. 9 선한 일을 하다가, 낙심하지 맙시다. 지쳐서 넘어지지 아니하면, 때가 이를 때에 거두게 될 것입니다. 10 그러므로 기회가 있는 동안에, 모든 사람에게 선한 일을 합시다. 특히 믿음의 식구들에게는 더욱 그렇게 합시다.

마지막으로 하는 경고와 축복

11 보십시오, 내가 여러분에게 직접 이렇게 큰 글자로 적습니다. 12 육체의 겉모양을 꾸미기를 좋아하는 사람은, 여러분에게 할례를 받으라고 강요합니다. 그것은 그들이 그리스도의 십자가 때문에 받는 박해를 면하고자 하는 것입니다. 13 할례를 받는 사람들 스스로도 율법을 지키지 않으면서 여러분에게 할례를 받게 하려는 것은, 여러분의 육체를 이용하여 자랑하려는 것입니다. 14 그런데 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 밖에는, 자랑할 것이 아무것도 없습니다. 그리스도로 말미암아, 내 쪽에서 보면 세상이 죽었고, 세상 쪽에서 보면 내가 죽었습니다. 15 t할례를 받거나 안 받는 것이 중요한 것이 아니라, 새롭게 창조되는 것이 중요합니다. 16 이 표준을 따라 사는 사람들에게와 하나님의 백성 이스라엘에게 평화와 자비가 있기를 빕니다. 17 이제부터는 아무도 나를 괴롭히지 마십시오. 나는 내 몸에 t예수의 상처 자국을 지고 다닙니다. 18  t형제자매 여러분, 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 여러분의 심령에 있기를 빕니다. 아멘.

GALATIANS 6

Help Each Other

1 My friends, you are spiritual. So if someone is trapped in sin, you should gently lead that person back to the right path. But watch out, and don't be tempted yourself.

2 You obey the law of Christ when you offer each other a helping hand.
3 If you think you are better than others, when you really aren't, you are wrong. 4 Do your own work well, and then you will have something to be proud of. But don't compare yourself with others.

5 We each must carry our own load.

6 Share every good thing you have with anyone who teaches you what God has said.
7 You cannot fool God, so don't make a fool of yourself! You will harvest what you plant. 8 If you follow your selfish desires, you will harvest destruction, but if you follow the Spirit, you will harvest eternal life. 9 Don't get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don't give up.

10 We should help people whenever we can, especially if they are followers of the Lord.

Final Warnings

11 You can see what big letters I make when I write with my own hand.
12 Those people who are telling you to get circumcised are only trying to show how important they are. And they don't want to get into trouble for preaching about the cross of Christ. 13 They are circumcised, but they don't obey the Law of Moses. All they want is to brag about having you circumcised.

14 But I will never brag about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his cross, the world is dead as far as I am concerned, and I am dead as far as the world is concerned.

15 It doesn't matter if you are circumcised or not. All that matters is that you are a new person.

16 If you follow this rule, you will belong to God's true people. God will treat you with undeserved kindness and will bless you with peace.

17  t On my own body are scars that prove I belong to Christ Jesus. So I don't want anyone to bother me anymore.
18 My friends, I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will be kind to you! Amen.
