Cristo superiore agli angeli, qual Figliuol di Dio

1 AVENDO Iddio variamente, ed in molte maniere, parlato già anticamente a'~padri, ne'~profeti, in questi ultimi giornit, ha parlato a noi nel suo Figliuolot, 2 il quale egli ha costituito erede d'ogni cosat; per lo quale ancora ha fatti i secolit. 3 Il quale, essendo lo splendor della gloria, e l'impronta della sussistenza d'essot; e portando tutte le cose con la parola della sua potenzat, dopo aver fatto per sè stesso il purgamento de'~nostri peccatit, si è posto a sedere alla destra della Maestà, ne'~luoghi altissimit;

4 essendo fatto di tanto superiore agli angeli, quanto egli ha eredato un nome più eccellente ch'essit.
5 Perciocchè, a qual degli angeli disse egli mai: Tu sei il mio Figliuolo, oggi io ti ho generatot? E di nuovo: Io gli sarò Padre, ed egli mi sarà Figliuolot? 6 Ed ancora, quando egli introduce il Primogenitot nel mondo, dice: E adorinlo tutti gli angeli di Diot. 7 Inoltre, mentre degli angeli egli dice: Il qual fa dei venti suoi angeli, ed una fiamma di fuoco i suoi ministrit, 8 del Figliuolo dicet: O Dio, il tuo trono è ne'~secoli de'~secoli; lo scettro del tuo regno è uno scettro di dirittura. 9 Tu hai amata giustizia, ed hai odiata iniquità; perciò, Iddio, l'Iddio tuo, ti ha untot d'olio di letizia più che i tuoi pari. 10 E tu, Signore, nel principio fondasti la terra, ed i cieli son opere delle tue manit. 11 Essi periranno, ma tu dimori; ed invecchieranno tutti, a guisa di vestimentot.

12 E tu li piegherai come una vesta, e saranno mutati; ma tu sei sempre lo stessot, e i tuoi anni non verranno giammai meno.
13 Ed a qual degli angeli disse egli mai: Siedi alla mia destra, finchè io abbia posti i tuoi nemici per iscannello de'~tuoi piedit? 14 Non son eglino tutti spiriti ministratori, mandati a servire, per amor di colorot che hanno ad eredar la salutet?

Hebrews 1

Introduction: God Has Spoken Fully and Finally in His Son

1 After God spoke long agot in various portionst and in various wayst to our ancestorst through the prophets,2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a son,ts whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world.t3 The Son ist the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word,t and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.s

4 Thus he becamet so far better than the angels asts he has inherited a name superior to theirs.

The Son Is Superior to Angels

5 For to which of the angels did Godt ever say, “You are my son! Today I have fathered you”?ts And in another placet he says,t “I will be his father and he will be my son.”ts6 But when he again bringst his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him!”s7 And he sayss of the angels, “He makesthis angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire,”s

8 but oft the Son he says,t
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,t
and a righteous sceptertis the scepter of your kingdom.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.
So God, your God, has anointed you over your companionsswith the oil of rejoicing.”s

10 And,
“You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord,s
and the heavens are the works of your hands.

11 They will perish, but you continue.
And they will all grow old like a garment,

12 and like a robe you will fold them up
and like a garmentsssthey will be changed,
but you are the same and your years will never run out.”s
13 But to which of the angelss has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?s

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve thoset who will inherit salvation?
