HEBREARREI 1

SARRERA (1,1-4)

Jainkoaren Semeak goi-agerpenari erabateko osotasuna eman

1 Askotan eta era askotara hitz egin zien antzina Jainkoak gure arbasoei profeten bidez;t 2 azken egun hauetant, berriz, bere Semearen bidez hitz egin digu. Seme horrexen esku utzi ditu gauza guztiak, egin ere berorren bidez egin baitzuen mundua.t 3 Bera da Jainkoaren aintzaren distira eta beronen izatearen irudia, eta berak eusten die gauza guztiei bere hitz ahaltsuaz, eta, bekatuen garbikuntza egin ondoren, Jainko handiaren eskuinaldean eseri da zeru goienetant.t

4 Eta aingeruak baino gehiago izatera iritsi da, ondaretzat jaso duen izenat ere haiena baino askoz goragokoa denez gero.t

KRISTO AINGERUEN GAINETIK (1,5—2,18)

Kristo Jainkoaren Seme

5 Izan ere, Jainkoak ez dio sekula inongo aingeruri esan:
Nire semea zara zu,
gaur zaitut nik sortu;
eta beste hau ere ez:
Aita izango nau hark ni,
eta seme izango dut nik hura. t

6 Jainkoak bere lehen-semea munduan sarrarazteant, berriz, honela esaten du:
Adora dezatela bera
Jainkoaren aingeru guztiek. t

7 Aingeruei buruz hau dio Jainkoak:
Haizearen antzeko egiten ditu
bere aingeruak,
sugarraren antzeko
bere zerbitzariak t.t

8 Baina bere Semeaz hau esaten du:
Zure tronua, oi Jainko, betikoa da,
zure erregetza t
zuzentasun-erregetza. t

9  Zuzen dena izan duzu maite
eta oker dena gorroto;
horregatik, Jainkoak,
zeure Jainkoak t,
gantzutu zaitu, jai-giro pozgarrian,
lagunen artean aukeraturik.

10 Eta beste hau ere badio:
Jauna, hasieratik sendo
ezarri zenuen lurra,
zure eskuek egina da zerua; t

11  haiek galduko dira,
baina zuk iraungo;
jantzia bezala gastatuko dira,

12  soinekoa bezala tolestuko dituzu,
jantzia bezala aldatuko.
Zu, ordea, beti bera,
zure urteak amaigabeak.

13 Jainkoak ez dio sekula inongo aingeruri esan:
Eseri tronuan nire eskuinean:
etsaiak oin-aulkitzat
jarriko dizkizut. t
14 Zer dira, bada, aingeru guztiak, Jainkoaren zerbitzura dauden espirituak, salbamena jaso behar dutenei laguntzera bidaliak, baizik?

Hebrews 1

Introduction: God Has Spoken Fully and Finally in His Son

1 After God spoke long agot in various portionst and in various wayst to our ancestorst through the prophets,2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a son,ts whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world.t3 The Son ist the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word,t and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.s

4 Thus he becamet so far better than the angels asts he has inherited a name superior to theirs.

The Son Is Superior to Angels

5 For to which of the angels did Godt ever say, “You are my son! Today I have fathered you”?ts And in another placet he says,t “I will be his father and he will be my son.”ts6 But when he again bringst his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him!”s7 And he sayss of the angels, “He makesthis angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire,”s

8 but oft the Son he says,t
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,t
and a righteous sceptertis the scepter of your kingdom.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.
So God, your God, has anointed you over your companionsswith the oil of rejoicing.”s

10 And,
“You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord,s
and the heavens are the works of your hands.

11 They will perish, but you continue.
And they will all grow old like a garment,

12 and like a robe you will fold them up
and like a garmentsssthey will be changed,
but you are the same and your years will never run out.”s
13 But to which of the angelss has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?s

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve thoset who will inherit salvation?
