ヘブル人への手紙 10

一○

1 ユダヤ人のおきてによる古い制度は、やがてキリスト様が与えてくださるもののすばらしさを、かすかに味わわせてくれるにすぎません。　いけにえは、年ごとに何度もくり返されましたが、その制度下にある人たちを救えませんでした。　2 もし救う力があるのなら、一度だけのいけにえで十分なはずであり、礼拝する人々はみなきよめられ、その罪意識も消えてしまったことでしょう。
3 ところが、事実は反対でした。　年ごとのいけにえは、人々の心をなごませるどころか、かえって、不従順と罪とを思い起こさせたのです。　4 雄牛とやぎの血では、実際に罪を取り除けないからです。
5 それゆえキリスト様は、この世に来られた時、次のように言われたのです。　「神よ。　雄牛や、やぎの血は、あなたの心にかないません。　それで、わたしに肉の体を与え、祭壇の上のいけにえとなさいました。　6 罪のためのささげ物として、あなたの前で殺されて焼かれる動物のいけにえでは、あなたは満足されませんでした。　7 そこでわたしは、『まさに、聖書に書いてあるとおり、わたしはあなたの御心を行ない、いのちを捨てるためにまいりました』と申し上げたのです。」
8 すなわち、キリスト様は、古い制度が要求する、さまざまのいけにえやささげ物では、神様は満足されない、と語ったあとで、　9 「わたしはいのちを捨てるために来ました」とつけ加えたのです。
キリスト様は、はるかにすぐれた制度を打ち立てるために、最初の制度を廃止されます。　10 この新しい計画にそって、ただ一度死なれ、それによって、私たちは罪を赦され、きよくされているのです。　11 古い契約のもとでは、祭司たちは毎日、祭壇にいけにえをささげますが、それらは、決して罪を取り除くことができません。
12 しかしキリスト様は、いつまでも有効な、ただ一つのいけにえとして、私たちの罪のために、自分を神様にささげてくださり、そのあと、最も名誉ある神様の右の座について、　13 敵が足の下に踏みつけられる、その日を待っておられます。　14 キリスト様は、この一度かぎりの行為によって、ご自分がきよめる人々をみな、永遠に、神様の目からも完全なものとしてくださったのです。
15 聖霊様も同じ証言をなさいます。　16 「イスラエルの人たちは最初の契約を破りましたが、わたしが新たに彼らと結ぼうとしている契約は、これです。　わたしは、常にわたしの意志を知らせるために、おきてを彼らの心に書き記します。　そして、おきてを彼らの思いの中に据えるので、彼らは喜んでこれに従うようになります。」　17 さらに聖霊様は、こうも言われます。　「わたしは、二度と彼らの罪と不法行為を思い出しません。」
18 このように、罪が永久に赦され、また、忘れ去られてしまうなら、罪を取り除くためのいけにえを、これ以上ささげる必要はありません。　19 ですから、愛する皆さん。　今や私たちは、血を流されたイエス様のおかげで、神様のおられる至聖所に、堂々と入って行けるのです。　20 この新しいいのちに至る道は、キリスト様が、ご自分の体という幕を引き裂くことによって、切り開いてくださいました。　私たちはこの道を通って、きよい神様の前に進み出ることができるのです。
21 また、偉大な大祭司が神様の家を支配しておられるのですから、　22 私たちは、まちがいなく受け入れられるという確信と、真実な心をもって、神様の前にまっすぐ進み出ようではありませんか。　私たちの心は、キリスト様の血を注がれてきよめられ、体は、きよい水で洗われているのですから。
23 いま私たちは、神様が約束してくださった救いを、希望をいだいて待ち望むことができます。　今や私たちは、一点の疑いもなく、救いが確実であることを、だれにでも話せます。　神様のことばは、必ず実現するからです。
24 神様が成し遂げてくださった、すべてのことにこたえて、私たちも互いに助け合い、親切にし合い、善行に励もうではありませんか。
25 教会員としての義務を怠ったり、集会を休んだりする人たちにならってはいけません。　主が再びおいでになる日は、もう間近なのですから、互いに励まし合い、忠告し合いましょう。
26 もし罪の赦しの真理を知ってから、ことさらに救い主を拒否して、罪を犯し続ける人がいるとしたら、そんな罪は、キリスト様の死によっても赦されません。　もはや、そんな罪を消す方法は、どこにもないのです。　27 その人には、敵対する者を一人残らず焼き尽くす、神様の激しい怒りと恐ろしい刑罰が待っているだけです。　28 モーセのおきてに従わなかった者たちは、その罪に対する二、三人の証言が得られれば、容赦なく殺されました。　29 それならなおさら、神様のひとり息子を踏みつけ、罪をきよめるキリスト様の血を汚れたものとみなし、神様のあわれみを人々にもたらす聖霊様を侮辱し、はずかしめる者には、どんなに恐ろしい刑罰が下るか、胸に手をあて、よく考えてみなさい。
30 私たちは、「正義はわたしのものである。　復讐はわたしがする」、また「主がその民をさばかれる」と断言された方を、よく知っています。　31 生ける神の御手に陥ることは、なんと恐ろしいことでしょう。
32 初めてキリスト様を知ったころの、祝福されたすばらしい日々を、いつまでも忘れないようにしなさい。　また、死ぬほどの苦しみに会いながらも、主と共に戦い抜いてきた事実を、いつも心にとめていなさい。　33 時には、あなたがた自身があざけられたり、打ちのめされたりもしました。　また時には、同じ苦しみをなめている人たちに、心からの同情を寄せたりしました。　34 牢獄に捕らわれの身となった人たちと共に苦しみ、また全財産を奪われても、喜んで、それを耐え抜いた日々もありました。　その秘訣は、天にある、もっとすぐれたものを永遠に獲得できると、わかっていたからです。
35 このような、すばらしい祝福が待っているのですから、どんなことがあっても、主を信じ続けなさい。　やがて主から受ける報酬を、いつも思い起こしなさい。　36 神様の約束されたものを、そっくりいただきたいと願うなら、神様の御心を、忍耐強く実行しなければなりません。　37 キリスト様のおいでになる日が、これ以上遅れることはありません。　38 信仰によって、神様の前に正しいと認められた人たちは、どんなことででも主を信じ、信仰によって生きなければなりません。　しりごみするような人を、神様は喜ばれません。
39 しかし私たちは、神様に背を向けたり、みじめな結果を見たりしたことは、これまで一度もありませんでした。　かえって、神様を信じる信仰が、たましいの救いを確実にしてくれるのです。

Hebrews 10

1 For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.2 Else would they not have ceased to be offered? because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins.3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance made of sins year by year.4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;

6 In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hadst no pleasure:

7 Then said I, Lo, I am come (In the roll of the book it is written of me) To do thy will, O God.

8 Saying above, Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein (the which are offered according to the law),9 then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.10 By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.11 And every priest indeed standeth day by day ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, the which can never take away sins:12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;13 henceforth expecting till his enemies be made the footstool of his feet.14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.15 And the Holy Spirit also beareth witness to us; for after he hath said,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; then saith he,

17 And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;21 and having a great priest over the house of God;22 let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.28 A man that hath set at nought Moses law dieth without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses:29 of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?30 For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were enlightened, ye endured a great conflict of sufferings;33 partly, being made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, becoming partakers with them that were so used.34 For ye both had compassion on them that were in bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of you possessions, knowing that ye have for yourselves a better possession and an abiding one.35 Cast not away therefore your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward.36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

37 For yet a very little while, He that cometh shall come, and shall not tarry.

38 But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.
