พระเจ้า_เป็น_เหมือน_พ่อ

4 ใน_เรื่อง_ที่_พี่_น้อง_ต้อง_ต่อสู้_กับ_บาป_นั้น พวก_พี่_น้อง_ยัง_ไม่_ต้อง_ต่อสู้_จน_ถึง_กับ_เลือด_ตก_ยาง_ออก_เลย

5 พี่_น้อง_คงจะ_ลืม_คำ_ที่_ให้_กำลัง_ใจ คำ_พูด_นี้_เป็น_คำ_ที่_ได้_พูด_กับ_พี่_น้อง_ใน_ฐานะ_ที่_เป็น_ลูก_ของ_พระเจ้า_ว่า

“ลูก_เอ๋ย อย่า_ถือ_ว่า_การ_ตีสอน_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_นั้น_เป็น_เรื่อง_เล่นๆ
และ_อย่า_หมด_กำลัง_ใจ เมื่อ_พระองค์_มา_ตัก_เตือน_เจ้า

6 เพราะ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_จะ_ตีสอน_คน_ที่_พระองค์_รัก
และ_จะ_ลงโทษ_ทุก_คน ที่_พระองค์_รับ_เป็น_ลูก” (สุภาษิต 3:11-12)

8 ถ้า_พี่_น้อง_ไม่_ถูก_ตีสอน_เหมือน_กับ_ลูก_ทั่วๆ_ไป แสดง_ว่า_ไม่_ได้_เป็น_ลูก_แท้ๆ แต่_เป็น_ลูก_ที่_ไม่_มี_พ่อ

9 เรา_ทุก_คน_มี_พ่อ_ที่_เป็น_มนุษย์_ที่_คอย_ตีสอน_เรา แต่_เรา_ก็_ยัง_เคารพ_เขา_อยู่_ดี ยิ่งกว่า_นั้น_อีก_สัก_เท่า_ไร เรา_ควร_จะ_เชื่อ_ฟัง_พระบิดา_ของ_จิต_วิญญาณ_เรา เพื่อ_เรา_จะ_ได้_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่_ต่อ_ไป

10 พ่อ_ของ_เรา_ที่_เป็น_มนุษย์_จะ_ตีสอน_เรา_แค่_ชั่ว_คราว_ตาม_ที่_เห็น_ว่า_ดี_ที่สุด แต่_พระเจ้า_จะ_ตีสอน_เรา_เพื่อ_ประโยชน์_ของ_เรา เพื่อ_เรา_จะ_ได้_มี_ส่วนร่วม_ใน_ความ_บริสุทธิ์_ของ_พระองค์

11 ตอน_ที่_ถูก_ตีสอน_นั้น_ไม่_มี_ใคร_ชอบ_หรอก_เพราะ_มัน_เจ็บ แต่_ภาย_หลัง_การ_ตีสอน_นั้น_จะ_ฝึกฝน_เรา แล้ว_ผล_ที่_ออก_มา_ก็_คือ_สันติสุข และ_ชีวิต_ที่_พระเจ้า_ชอบ_ใจ

ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_ระมัดระวัง

12 ดัง_นั้น ให้_ยก_มือ_ที่_ไม่_มี_แรง_ขึ้น_มา และ_ทำ_หัวเข่า_ที่_อ่อนแอ_ให้_มี_กำลัง_ขึ้น_มา

13 ทำ_ทาง_เดิน_ให้_ตรง_ไป_สำหรับ_เท้า_ของ_พี่_น้อง เพื่อ_ว่า_เท้า_ที่_เป็น_ง่อย_นั้น_จะ_ได้_ไม่_พลิก แต่_จะ_หาย_เป็น_ปกติ

14 พยายาม_ให้_อยู่_กับ_คน_ทั้งหลาย_อย่าง_สงบ_สุข และ_พยายาม_ให้_มี_ชีวิต_ที่_บริสุทธิ์ เพราะ_ถ้า_ไม่_มี_ความ_บริสุทธิ์_ก็_จะ_ไม่_มี_ใคร_เห็น_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต

15 ระวัง_ตัว_ให้_ดี อย่า_ให้_ใคร_พลาด_ไป_จาก_ความ_เมตตา_กรุณา_ของ_พระเจ้า แล้ว_ระวัง_อย่า_ให้_มี_ราก_ขมขื่น_งอก_ขึ้น_มา_ก่อ_ปัญหา ที่_จะ_ทำ_ให้_คน_จำนวน_มาก_ต้อง_ด่าง_พร้อย

16 ระวัง_อย่า_ให้_ใคร_ทำ_ผิด_ทาง_เพศ หรือ_หมกมุ่น_แต่_เรื่อง_ของ_โลก_นี้_เหมือน_กับ_เอซาว_ที่_ขาย_สิทธิ์_ลูกชาย_หัว_ปี เพราะ_เห็นแก่_อาหาร_เพียง_มื้อ_เดียว

17 พี่_น้อง_ก็_รู้_ว่า ต่อมา_เมื่อ_เอซาว_อยาก_ได้_พร_นั้น เขา_ก็_ถูก_ปฏิเสธ เพราะ_ว่า_เขา_ไม่_สามารถ_แก้ไข_สิ่ง_ที่_เขา_ได้_ทำ_ลง_ไป_แล้ว ถึง_แม้_เขา_จะ_ต้อง_การ_มาก_จน_น้ำตา_นองหน้า

18 พี่_น้อง_ไม่_ได้_มา_ถึง_ภูเขา_ที่_แตะ_ต้อง_ได้ ไม่_ได้_มา_ถึง_ไฟ_ที่_ไหม้_อยู่ ไม่_ได้_มา_ถึง_ที่_มืด ความ_มืด_มิด_อัน_น่ากลัว_หรือ_พายุ

19 ไม่_ได้_มา_ถึง_เสียง_แตร หรือ_เสียง_พูด_ของ_พระองค์ ที่_คน_ที่_ได้_ยิน_นั้น_อ้อน_วอน_ไม่_ให้_พูด_กับ_เขา_อีก

20 เพราะ_เขา_ทน_คำ_สั่ง_ของ_พระองค์_ไม่_ไหว_ที่_ว่า “แม้แต่_สัตว์ ถ้า_แตะ_ต้อง_ภูเขา_นี้ ก็_จะ_ต้อง_ถูก_หิน_ขว้าง”t

21 สิ่ง_ที่_เห็น_นั้น_น่ากลัว_จริงๆ จน_โมเสส_พูด_ว่า “ผม_กลัว_จน_ตัว_สั่น”t

22 แต่_พี่_น้อง_ได้_มา_ถึง_ภูเขา_ศิโยนt มา_ถึง_เมือง_ของ_พระเจ้า_ผู้_มี_ชีวิต_อยู่ คือ_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม_แห่ง_สวรรค์t และ_ได้_มา_ถึง_ที่_ที่_ทูตสวรรค์_นับ_พัน_นับ_หมื่น_ชุมนุม_รื่นเริง_กัน

23 ได้_มา_ถึง_หมู่_ประชุม_ของ_บุตร_หัว_ปี_ทั้งหลาย ซึ่ง_ชื่อ_ของ_พวก_เขา_จารึก_อยู่_ใน_สวรรค์ มา_ถึง_พระเจ้า_ผู้_พิพากษา_มนุษย์_ทั้งหลาย และ_มา_ถึง_วิญญาณ_ของ_คน_ที่_ทำ_ตามใจ_พระเจ้า ที่_พระเจ้า_ทำ_ให้_สมบูรณ์แบบ_แล้ว

25 ระวัง_ให้_ดี อย่า_ปฏิเสธ_ที่_จะ_ฟัง_พระองค์_ที่_กำลัง_พูด_กับ_พี่_น้อง_อยู่ ถ้า_คน_พวก_นั้น_ที่_ปฏิเสธ_ไม่_ยอม_ฟัง_คำ_เตือน_ของ_พระองค์_ใน_โลก_นี้ ยัง_หนี_การ_ลง_โทษ_ไม่_พ้น_เลย แล้ว_เรา_ล่ะ_คิด_ว่า_ถ้า_เมิน_หน้า_หนี_จาก_พระองค์_ที่_เตือน_เรา_มา_จาก_สวรรค์_นั้น จะ_หนี_พ้น_หรือ

26 ใน_ครั้ง_ก่อน_นั้น เสียง_ของ_พระองค์_ทำ_ให้_แผ่นดิน_สั่น_สะเทือน แต่_ตอน_นี้_พระองค์_ได้_สัญญา_ว่า “เรา_จะ_ทำ_ให้_สั่น_สะเทือน_อีก_ครั้ง_หนึ่ง ไม่_ใช่_เพียง_แต่_โลก_นี้_เท่า_นั้น แต่_สวรรค์_ด้วย”t

27 คำ_พูด_ที่_ว่า “อีก_ครั้ง_หนึ่ง” แสดง_ว่า_สิ่ง_ที่_สั่น_สะเทือน_ได้ หมายถึง_ทุก_สิ่ง_ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_พระองค์_สร้าง_ขึ้น_มา จะ_ถูก_ทำลาย_ให้_หมด_ไป เพื่อ_จะ_ได้_เหลือ_แต่_สิ่ง_ที่_ไม่_มี_อะไร_มา_สั่น_สะเทือน_ได้

28 เนื่อง_จาก_เรา_กำลัง_ได้_รับ_อาณา_จักร_ที่_ไม่_มี_อะไร_สามารถ_มา_สั่น_สะเทือน_มัน_ได้ ก็_ขอ_ให้_เรา_กตัญญู_รู้คุณ_พระเจ้า นมัสการ_พระองค์_อย่าง_เคารพ_ยำเกรง ใน_ทาง_ที่_ชอบ_ใจ_พระเจ้า

29 เพราะ_พระเจ้า_ของ_เรา_นั้น_เป็น_ไฟ_ที่_เผาผลาญ

Hebrews 12

Jesus, the Example

1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

A Father's Discipline

4 You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
"MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD,
NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM;

6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES,
AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES."7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

12 Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.

14 Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.15 See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;16 that there be no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal.17 For you know that even afterwards, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with tears.

Contrast of Sinai and Zion

18 For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind,19 and to the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words which sound was such that those who heard begged that no further word be spoken to them.20 For they could not bear the command, "IF EVEN A BEAST TOUCHES THE MOUNTAIN, IT WILL BE STONED."21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, "I AM FULL OF FEAR and trembling."22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

The Unshaken Kingdom

25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN."27 This expression, "Yet once more," denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;29 for our God is a consuming fire.
