Hebräer 13

1 Die Bruderliebe dauere fort!t2 Gastfreundschaft zu üben vergeßt nicht! Denn dadurch haben einige ohne ihr Wissen Engel beherbergt.t3 Gedenkt der Gefangenen,t als wäret ihr auch im Gefängnis!t Nehmt euch der Bedrängten an; ihr seid ja auch im (sterblichen) Leib!t4 Haltet die Ehe in jeder Hinsicht in Ehren; befleckt nicht das Ehebett! Denn Unzüchtige und Ehebrecher wird Gott richten.5 Euer Sinn sei frei von Geldgier! Seid zufrieden mit dem, was euch beschieden ist! Er selbstt hat ja gesagt: Nie will ich von dir abtun meine Hand, nie dich verlassen.t6 Darum können wir auch getrosten Mutes sprechen: Der Herr ist mein Helfer, ich werde mich nicht fürchten. Was können mir Menschen tun?t7 Gedenkt eurer Führer, die euch Gottes Wort verkündigt haben! Schaut auf den Ausgang ihrer Erdenwallfahrt und folgt ihrem Glauben nach!t8 Jesus Christus ist gestern, heute und in Ewigkeit derselbe!t9 Laßt euch nicht durch allerlei fremdartiget Lehren irreführen!t Denn gut und heilsam ist's, daß das Herz durch Gnade fest werde. Durch Speisen kann das nicht geschehen.t Die sich damit befassen, sind ohne den erwarteten Gewinn geblieben.t10 Wir haben einen Altar,t von dessen Opfert die nicht essen dürfen, die (Gott nach den Vorschriften) der Stiftshütte dienen.t11 Denn die Leiber jener Tiere, deren Blut zur Sühnung für die Sünde durch den Hohenpriester in das Allerheiligste getragen wird,t die pflegt man außerhalb des Lagers zu verbrennen.t12 Darum hat auch Jesus, um durch sein eigen Blut das Volk zu weihen,t außerhalb des Torest gelitten.13 So laßt uns denn zu ihm hinausgehen außerhalb des Lagers und seine Schmach auf uns nehmen!t14 Denn hier haben wir keine bleibende Stadt,t sondern unsere Sehnsucht steht nach der zukünftigen.t15 Durch ihnt laßt uns nun fort und fort Gott Lobopfer bringen: "die Frucht der Lippen",t die seinen Namen preisen!t16 Vergeßt auch nicht wohlzutun und mitzuteilen, denn an solchen Opfern hat Gott Wohlgefallen!17 Gehorcht euern Vorstehern und folgt ihnen! Denn sie sind Wächter zum Heil eurer Seelen,t und sie sollen einst Rechenschaft (von ihrer Arbeit) ablegen.t Das möchten sie mit Freuden tun und nicht mit Seufzen;t denn diest wäre euch zum Schaden.t18 Betet für uns!t Denn wir meinen, daß wir ein gutes Gewissen haben, da wir in jeder Hinsicht recht zu wandeln trachten.t19 Und besonders deshalb fordere ich euch zu dieser Fürbitte auf, damit ich euch desto eher zurückgegeben werde.t20 Gott, der Friedenspender, der Jesus, unseren Herrn, aus den Toten heraufgeführt,t weil er durch sein Blut eine ewige Gottesstiftung begründet hat,t und ihn nun eingesetzt zum Oberhirten seiner Schafe,t21 der vollende euch in allem Guten, damit ihr seinen Willen tut, und wirke selbst in euch, was vor ihm wohlgefällig ist durch Jesus Christus! Ihm sei Ehre in alle Ewigkeit! Amen.22 Ich bitte euch, Brüder, nehmt mein Ermahnungswortt freundlich auf! Ich habe euch ja auch nur einen kurzen Brief geschrieben.t23 Die Abreise des Bruders Timotheus ist euch bekannt.t Sobald er zu mir zurückkehrt, will ich euch mit ihm besuchen.24 Grüßt alle eure Vorsteher und alle Heiligen! Es grüßen euch die Brüder in Italien.t25 Die Gnade sei mit euch allen! Amen.

Hebrews 13

1 Let love of the brethren continue.2 Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are illtreated, as being yourselves also in the body.4 Let marriage be had in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.5 Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.6 So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?

7 Remember them that had the rule over you, men that spake unto you the word of God; and considering the issue of their life, imitate their faith.8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and to-day, yea and for ever.9 Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle.11 For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned without the camp.12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered without the gate.13 Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.14 For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after the city which is to come.15 Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.18 Pray for us: for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.19 And I exhort you the more exceedingly to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.20 Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus,21 make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.22 But I exhort you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have written unto you in few words.23 Know ye that our brother Timothy hath been set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
