Isaías 4

1 Porque siete mujeres echarán mano de un hombre en aquel día, diciendo: Nuestro pan comeremos y con nuestra ropa nos vestiremos; tan sólo déjanos llevar tu nombre; quita nuestro oprobio.
2 Aquel día el Renuevo del Señor será hermoso y lleno de gloria, y el fruto de la tierra será el orgullo y adorno de los sobrevivientes de Israel.3 Y acontecerá que el que sea dejado en Sion y el que quede en Jerusalén será llamado santo: todos los que estén inscritos para vivir en Jerusalén.4 Cuando el Señor haya lavado la inmundicia de las hijas de Sion y haya limpiado la sangre derramada de en medio de Jerusalén con el espíritu del juicio y el espíritu abrasador,5 entonces el Señor creará sobre todo lugar del monte Sion y sobre sus asambleas, una nube durante el día, o sea humo, y un resplandor de llamas de fuego por la noche; porque sobre toda la gloria habrá un dosel;6 será un cobertizo para dar sombra contra el calor del día, y refugio y protección contra la tormenta y la lluvia.

Isaiah 4

1 Seven women will grab hold of
one man at that time.ts
They will say, “We will providet our own food,
we will providet our own clothes;
but let us belong to yout –
take away our shame!”s

The Branch of the Lord

2 At that timet
the crops given by the Lord will bring admiration and honor;t
the produce of the land will be a source of pride and delight
to those who remain in Israel.t

3 Those remaining in Zion,t those left in Jerusalem,s
will be called “holy,”t
all in Jerusalem who are destined to live.t

4 At that timet the sovereign mastert will wash the excrementt from Zion’s women,
he will rinse the bloodstains from Jerusalem’s midst,s
as he comes to judge
and to bring devastation.t

5 Then the Lord will create
over all of Mount Ziont
and over its convocations
a cloud and smoke by day
and a bright flame of fire by night;ts
indeed a canopy will accompany the Lord’s glorious presence.t

6 By day it will be a shelter to provide shade from the heat,
as well as safety and protection from the heavy downpour.t
