Ê-sai 4

1 Trong ngày đó, bảy người nữ sẽ bắt lấy một người nam, và nói rằng: Chúng tôi ăn bánh của mình, mặc áo của mình; chỉ xin cho phép chúng tôi mang danh ngươi; hãy cất sự xấu hổ của chúng tôi đi.2 Trong ngày đó, chồi của Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ làm đồ trang sức vinh hiển của những kẻ sót lại trong Y-sơ-ra-ên, sản vật dưới đất sẽ làm sự tốt đẹp cho chúng nó.3 Phàm những kẻ còn lại Si-ôn, những kẻ sót lại ở Giê-ru-sa-lem, tức là những kẻ ở Giê-ru-sa-lem được chép vào sổ người sống, thì sẽ được xưng là thánh;4 khi Chúa đem thần công bình cùng thần thiêu đốt mà rửa sự ô uế của những con gái Si-ôn, tẩy sạch huyết Giê-ru-sa-lem khỏi giữa nó.5 Trên khắp nơi núi Si-ôn, trên khắp các hội nó, Đức Giê-hô-va sẽ dựng lên một đám mây bọc khói trong ban ngày, và ngọn lửa soi sáng trong ban đêm. Vì một cái màn sẽ che cả sự vinh hiển:6 sẽ có trại làm bóng mát tránh nắng ban ngày, và dùng làm nơi núp chổ đụp cho khỏi gió táp mưa sa.

Isaiah 4

1 Seven women will grab hold of
one man at that time.ts
They will say, “We will providet our own food,
we will providet our own clothes;
but let us belong to yout –
take away our shame!”s

The Branch of the Lord

2 At that timet
the crops given by the Lord will bring admiration and honor;t
the produce of the land will be a source of pride and delight
to those who remain in Israel.t

3 Those remaining in Zion,t those left in Jerusalem,s
will be called “holy,”t
all in Jerusalem who are destined to live.t

4 At that timet the sovereign mastert will wash the excrementt from Zion’s women,
he will rinse the bloodstains from Jerusalem’s midst,s
as he comes to judge
and to bring devastation.t

5 Then the Lord will create
over all of Mount Ziont
and over its convocations
a cloud and smoke by day
and a bright flame of fire by night;ts
indeed a canopy will accompany the Lord’s glorious presence.t

6 By day it will be a shelter to provide shade from the heat,
as well as safety and protection from the heavy downpour.t
