یعقوب 1

1 یعقوب که غلام خدا و عیسی مسیح خداوند است، به دوازده سبط که پراکنده هستند.خوش باشید.2 ای برادران من، وقتی که در تجربه های گوناگون مبتلا شوید، کمال خوشی دانید.3 چونکه میدانید که امتحان ایمان شما صبر راپیدا میکند.4 لکن صبر را عمل تام خود باشد تاکامل و تمام شوید و محتاج هیچچیز نباشید.5 واگر از شما کسی محتاج به حکمت باشد، سوال بکند از خدایی که هر کس را به سخاوت عطامی کند و ملامت نمی نماید و به او داده خواهدشد.6 لکن به ایمان سوال بکند و هرگز شک نکندزیرا هرکه شک کند، مانند موج دریاست که از بادرانده و متلاطم میشود.7 زیرا چنین شخص گمان نبرد که از خداوند چیزی خواهد یافت.8 مرد دودل در تمام رفتار خود ناپایدار است.9 لکن برادر مسکین بهسرافرازی خود فخربنماید،10 و دولتمند از مسکنت خود، زیرا مثل گل علف در گذر است.11 از آنرو که آفتاب باگرمی طلوع کرده، علف را خشکانید و گلش به زیر افتاده، حسن صورتش زایل شد. به همینطورشخص دولتمند نیز در راههای خود، پژمرده خواهد گردید.12 خوشابحال کسیکه متحمل تجربه شود، زیرا که چون آزموده شد، آن تاج حیاتی را که خداوند به محبان خود وعده فرموده است خواهد یافت.13 هیچکس چون در تجربه افتد، نگوید: «خدا مرا تجربه میکند»، زیرا خدا هرگزاز بدیها تجربه نمی شود و او هیچکس را تجربه نمی کند.14 لکن هرکس در تجربه میافتد وقتی که شهوت وی او را میکشد و فریفته میسازد.15 پس شهوت آبستن شده، گناه را میزاید و گناه به انجام رسیده، موت را تولید میکند.16 ای برادران عزیز من، گمراه مشوید!17 هر بخشندگی نیکو و هر بخشش کامل از بالا است و نازل میشود از پدر نورها که نزد او هیچ تبدیل و سایه گردش نیست.18 او محض اراده خود ما رابوسیله کلمه حق تولید نمود تا ما چون نوبرمخلوقات او باشیم.19 بنابراین، ای برادران عزیز من، هرکس درشنیدن تند و در گفتن آهسته و در خشم سست باشد.20 زیرا خشم انسان عدالت خدا را به عمل نمی آورد.21 پس هر نجاست و افزونی شر را دورکنید و با فروتنی، کلام کاشته شده را بپذیرید که قادر است که جانهای شما را نجاتبخشد.22 لکن کنندگان کلام باشید نه فقط شنوندگان که خود را فریب میدهند.23 زیرا اگر کسی کلام را بشنود و عمل نکند، شخصی را ماند که صورت طبیعی خود را در آینه مینگرد.24 زیرا خود رانگریست و رفت و فور فراموش کرد که چطورشخصی بود.25 لکن کسیکه بر شریعت کامل آزادی چشم دوخت و در آن ثابت ماند، او چون شنونده فراموشکار نمی باشد، بلکه کننده عمل پس او در عمل خود مبارک خواهد بود.26 اگرکسی از شما گمان برد که پرستنده خدا است وعنان زبان خود را نکشد بلکه دل خود را فریب دهد، پرستش او باطل است.27 پرستش صاف وبی عیب نزد خدا و پدر این است که یتیمان وبیوهزنان را در مصیبت ایشان تفقد کنند و خود رااز آلایش دنیا نگاه دارند.

1  t From James, a servant of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Greetings to the twelve tribes scattered all over the world.t

Faith and Wisdom

4 But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything.
5  t If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won't correct you for asking. 6 But when you ask for something, you must have faith and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm.

7-8 If you are that kind of person, you can't make up your mind, and you surely can't be trusted. So don't expect the Lord to give you anything at all.

Poor People and //Rich People

11 scorched by the burning heat of the sun. The flowers lose their blossoms, and their beauty is destroyed. This is how the rich will disappear, as they go about their business.

Trials and Temptations

12  t God will bless you, if you don't give up when your faith is being tested. He will reward you with a glorious life, t just as he rewards everyone who loves him.
13  t Don't blame God when you are tempted! God cannot be tempted by evil, and he doesn't use evil to tempt others. 14 We are tempted by our own desires that drag us off and trap us.

15 Our desires make us sin, and when sin is finished with us, it leaves us dead.
16 Don't be fooled, my dear friends. 17 Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father who created all the lights in the heavens. He is always the same and never makes dark shadows by changing.

18 He wanted us to be his own special people, t and so he sent the true message to give us new birth.

Hearing and Obeying

21 You must stop doing anything immoral or evil. Instead be humble and accept the message planted in you to save you.
22 Obey God's message! Don't fool yourselves by just listening to it. 23 If you hear the message and don't obey it, you are like people who stare at themselves in a mirror 24 and forget what they look like as soon as they leave.

25 But you must never stop looking at the perfect law that sets you free. God will bless you in everything you do, if you listen and obey, and don't just hear and forget.
26 If you think you are being religious, but can't control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is useless. 27 Religion that pleases God the Father must be pure and spotless. You must help needy orphans and widows and not let this world make you evil.
