Jakoba 3

Anatra ny amin'izay mety hataon'ny mpampianatra, indrindra fa ny tsy hanotany amin'ny lelany, ary ny toetry ny fahendrena avy any ambony

1 Ry rahalahiko, aza dia samy ho mpampianatra be ihany ianareo, satria fantatrareo fa ho mafimafy kokoa no hitsarana anay mpampianatra.2 Fa tafintohina amin'ny zavatra maro isika rehetra. Raha misy olona tsy mba tafintohina amin'ny teny, dia izy no lehilahy tanteraka ka mahafehy ny tenany rehetra koa.3 Ary raha asiantsika lamboridy amin'ny vavan'ny soavaly mba hanarahany antsika, dia mitondra ny tenany rehetra isika.4 Indreo koa ny sambo, na dia lehibe aza ireny ka entin'ny rivotra mahery, dia ahodin'ny familiana kely foana izy ho any amin'izay tian'ny mpitondra.5 Dia toy izany koa ny lela, rantsana kely izy, kanefa mirehareha fatratra. Indro, ny fiavovon'ny antontan-kazot arehitry ny afo kely!6 Ary afo ny lela, dia faharatsiana tsy hita lany; eo amin'ny momba ny tenantsika dia ny lela no mampipentimpentina ny tena rehetra ka mampirehitra izao zavatra ary rehetra izao, sady arehitry ny helot izy;7 Fa folaka avokoa ny karazant'ny bibi-dia rehetra sy ny vorona sy ny biby mandady sy mikisaka mbamin'ny any an-dranomasina, eny, voafolaky ny olombelona ireny;8 fa tsy misy olona mahafolaka ny lela; zava-dratsy tsy manam-pijanonana izy sady feno ody mahafaty.9 Izy no isaorantsika ny Tompo, dia ny Ray; ary izy ihany koa no anozonantsika ny olona, izay natao araka ny endrik'Andriamanitra.10 Ny vava iray ihany no ivoahan'ny fisaorana sy ny fanozonana. Ry rahalahiko, tsy mety raha misy izany.11 Moa ny loharano va mamoaka rano mamy sy mangidy eo amin'ny vavany iray ihany?12 Ry rahalahiko, ny aviavy va mety mamoa voan'oliva, na ny voaloboka mamoa voan'aviavy? Toy izany ny rano masirasira tsy mba ivoahan'ny mamy.13 Iza eo aminareo no hendry sy manam-pahalalana? Aoka hasehony amin'ny fitondran-tena tsara ny asany amin'ny fahalemem-panahin'ny fahendrena.14 Fa raha misy fialonana mirehitrat sy fifampiandaniana ao am-ponareo, aza mirehareha na mandainga manohitra ny marina.15 Izany fahendrena izany dia tsy ny avy any ambony, fa araka ny etỳ an-tany ihany, araka ny nofo, araka ny an'ny demonia.16 Fa izay misy fialonana sy fifampiandaniana dia misy fikorontanana mbamin izay asa ratsy rehetra.17 Fa ny fahendrena izay avy any ambony dia madio aloha, ary tia fihavanana, mandefitra, mora alahatra, be famindram-po sy be voka-tsoa, tsy miahanahanat na mihatsaravelatsihy.

18 Ary ny vokatry ny fahamarinana dia afafy amin'ny fihavanana ho an'izay mampandroso ny fihavananat.

James 3

1 Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.2 For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.3 Now if we put the horses’ bridles into their mouths that they may obey us, we turn about their whole body also.4 Behold, the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, are yet turned about by a very small rudder, whither the impulse of the steersman willeth.5 So the tongue also is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how much wood is kindled by how small a fire!6 And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.7 For every kind of beasts and birds, of creeping things and things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed by mankind.8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is a restless evil, it is full of deadly poison.9 Therewith bless we the Lord and Father; and therewith curse we men, who are made after the likeness of God:10 out of the same mouth cometh forth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.11 Doth the fountain send forth from the same opening sweet water and bitter?12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, yield olives, or a vine figs? Neither can salt water yield sweet.13 Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.14 But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.15 This wisdom is not a wisdom that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.16 For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.
