James 3

Nagang Dilah

1 Menyadi, enda mayuh kita tau nyadi pengajar laban, kita nemu, kami ke ngajar deka diakim balat agi. 2 t Laban semua kitai bela ngereja mayuh macham penyalah. Orang ke nadai kala nyebut utai ti salah lebuh iya bejaku, iya nya orang ke pemadu badas, ke ulih nagang semua tubuh diri. 3 Enti kitai ngengkahka repik besi ba nyawa kuda, kena ngasuh iya ngasika kitai, kitai ulih ngasuh kuda nya nguingka tubuh diri. 4 Tauka, peda kita kapal. Taja pen kapal nya besai lalu belayar dipuputka ribut ti deras, tang iya dikemudika ngena tumpang ti mit amat ngagai sebarang endur alai juragan ngemudika iya.

5 Baka nya mega dilah. Taja pen iya mit, tang iya balat temegah. Peda kita utan ti besai. Iya ulih diselup ngena api ti mit lalu angus!
6  t Dilah nya api, dunya ti jai dalam tubuh kitai, ti ngamahka kitai, nyelup semua pengidup kitai ngena api, lalu dilah nya empu diselup api neraka.t 7 Mensia ulih bejinak lalu udah bejinakka semua utai bukai ti idup, baka jelu babas enggau burung, ular enggau ikan, 8 tang nadai orang ulih bejinakka dilah. Dilah nya utai ti jai, ti enda nemu jenuh, ti penuh laban rachun ti bisa. 9 t Ngena dilah nya kitai muji Tuhan ti Apai kitai, lalu ngena dilah nya mega kitai nyumpah orang ke digaga neladan gamal Allah Taala Empu. 10 Ari nyawa siti nya pansut jaku berekat enggau jaku sumpah. Menyadi, utai tu enda tau baka nya! 11 Kati mata ai ulih mansutka ai amat enggau ai ti masin?

12 Kati kayu ara, menyadi, ulih mansutka buah kana? Tauka pun anggur ulih mansutka buah ara? Mata ai ti mansutka ai ti masin, enda ulih mansutka ai amat.

14 Tang enti kita kepapas, lalu semina berundingka diri empu aja, anang temegahka nya tauka besangkalka pemendar. 15 Penemu-dalam ti baka nya ukai datai ari atas,t tang datai ari dunya, ari mensia, ari antu. 16 Laban dia endur alai ati ti kepapas, enggau ati ti semina berundingka diri empu aja, dia meh endur alai penyarut enggau semua pengawa ti jai nyadi. 17 Tang penemu-dalam ti datai ari atas nya, lumur satu, tuchi, mai pemaik, nelap, siru, penuh laban pengasih enggau buah ti manah, enda bepilih mata tauka pura-pura ngapa. 18 Lalu orang ke nanam pemaik, deka ngetau pengelurus.

James 3

1 Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.2 For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.3 Now if we put the horses’ bridles into their mouths that they may obey us, we turn about their whole body also.4 Behold, the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, are yet turned about by a very small rudder, whither the impulse of the steersman willeth.5 So the tongue also is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how much wood is kindled by how small a fire!6 And the tongue is a fire: the world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.7 For every kind of beasts and birds, of creeping things and things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed by mankind.8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is a restless evil, it is full of deadly poison.9 Therewith bless we the Lord and Father; and therewith curse we men, who are made after the likeness of God:10 out of the same mouth cometh forth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.11 Doth the fountain send forth from the same opening sweet water and bitter?12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, yield olives, or a vine figs? Neither can salt water yield sweet.13 Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.14 But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.15 This wisdom is not a wisdom that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.16 For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.
