12 แต่_ส่วน_คน_ที่_ยอมรับ_และ_ไว้วางใจ_พระองค์ พระองค์_ให้_สิทธิ์_พวก_เขา_เป็น_ลูก_ของ_พระเจ้า

18 ไม่_เคย_มี_ใคร_เห็น_พระเจ้า มี_แต่_พระบุตร_เพียง_องค์_เดียว_ของ_พระองค์ ผู้ที่_เป็น_พระเจ้า_เอง_และ_อยู่_ใกล้_ชิด_กับ_พระบิดา_ด้วย ได้_เปิดเผย_พระเจ้า_ให้_เรา_รู้จัก

27 คนๆ_นี้_แหละ_ที่_มา_ภาย_หลัง_ผม ขนาด_สาย_รัด_รอง_เท้า_ของ_เขา_ผม_ยัง_ไม่_มี_ค่า_พอที่_จะ_แก้_ให้_เลย”

28 เรื่อง_ทั้ง_หมด_นี้_เกิด_ขึ้น_ที่_หมู่บ้าน_เบธานี ทาง_ฝั่ง_ตะวันออก_ของ_แม่น้ำ_จอร์แดน ซึ่ง_เป็น_ที่_ที่_ยอห์น_กำลัง_ทำ_พิธี_จุ่ม_น้ำ_ให้_ผู้_คน_อยู่

29 ใน_วัน_ต่อมา ยอห์น_เห็น_พระ_เยซู_เดิน_ตรง_มาหา_เขา แล้ว_ยอห์น_ป่าว_ประกาศ_ว่า “นี่_ไง ลูกแกะ_ของ_พระเจ้า ที่_จะ_มา_เอา_ความ_ผิด_บาป_ของ_โลก_ไป

30 คน_นี้_ไง_ที่_ผม_พูด_ถึง_ว่า ‘จะ_มี_คน_หนึ่ง_มา_ภาย_หลัง_ผม เป็น_ผู้ที่_ยิ่ง_ใหญ่_กว่า_ผม เพราะ_เขา_เป็น_อยู่_นาน_แล้ว_ก่อน_ที่_ผม_จะ_เกิด_เสีย_อีก’

31 ตัว_ผม_เอง_ก็_ไม่_รู้_หรอก_ว่า_เขา_เป็น_ใคร ผม_มา_ทำ_พิธี_จุ่ม_ด้วย_น้ำ_ก็_เพื่อ_จะ_ได้_เปิดเผย_ตัว_เขา_ให้_คน_อิสราเอล ได้_รู้จัก”

32 แล้ว_ยอห์น_ก็_บอก_ว่า “ผม_ได้_เห็น_พระ_วิญญาณ_บริสุทธิ์ ลง_มา_จาก_สวรรค์_เหมือน_นก_พิราบ และ_มา_อยู่_บน_ชาย_คน_นี้

33 ตัว_ผม_เอง_ก็_ไม่_รู้_หรอก_ว่า_ชาย_คน_นี้_เป็น_ใคร แต่_พระองค์_ผู้ที่_ส่ง_ผม_มา_ให้_ทำ_พิธี_จุ่ม_น้ำ_บอก_ว่า ‘เมื่อ_เจ้า_เห็น_พระ_วิญญาณ_ลง_มา_อยู่_บน_ใคร คน_นั้น_แหละ_คือ_คน_ที่_จะ_ทำ_พิธี_จุ่ม_ด้วย_พระ_วิญญาณ_บริสุทธิ์’

34 ผม_เห็น_เรื่อง_นี้_เกิด_ขึ้น_กับ_ตา และ_ผม_เป็น_พยาน_ได้_ว่า ‘ชาย_คน_นี้_เป็น_พระบุตร_ของ_พระเจ้า’”

ศิษย์_รุ่น_แรก_ของ_พระ_เยซู

35 วัน_ต่อมา ยอห์น_ยืน_อยู่_กับ_ศิษย์_ของ_เขา_สอง_คน

36 เมื่อ_เขา_เห็น_พระ_เยซู_เดิน_ผ่าน_ไป เขา_ก็_พูด_ขึ้น_ว่า “นั่น_ไง ลูกแกะ_ของ_พระเจ้า”

37 พอ_ศิษย์_สอง_คน_นั้น_ได้_ยิน_อย่าง_นั้น เขา_ก็_เดิน_ตาม_พระ_เยซู_ไป

38 เมื่อ_พระองค์_หัน_ไป_เห็น_พวก_เขา_เดิน_ตาม_หลัง_มา ก็_ถาม_ว่า “มี_อะไร_หรือ”
พวก_เขา_ถาม_ไป_ว่า “อาจารย์_พัก_อยู่_ที่_ไหน_ครับ”

39 พระ_เยซู_ตอบ_ว่า “ตาม_มา_ดู_สิ” พวก_เขา_ก็_ได้_ตาม_ไป_ยัง_ที่_พัก_ของ_พระองค์ ตอน_นั้น_เป็น_เวลา_สี่_โมง_เย็น_แล้ว พวก_เขา_จึง_พัก_อยู่_กับ_พระองค์_ตลอด_วัน_นั้น

40 อันดรูว์ เป็น_คน_หนึ่ง_ใน_สอง_คน_นั้น_ที่_เดิน_ตาม_พระ_เยซู_ไป หลัง_จาก_ได้_ยิน_ยอห์น_พูด เขา_มี_พี่ชาย_ชื่อ_ซีโมน เปโตร

43 วัน_ต่อมา พระ_เยซู_ตัดสิน_ใจ_ไป_แคว้น_กาลิลี พระองค์_พบ_ฟีลิป_และ_พูด_กับ_เขา_ว่า “ตาม เรา_มา”

45 ฟีลิป_พบ_นาธานาเอล และ_บอก_เขา_ว่า “พวกเรา_พบ_คน_ที่_โมเสส_และ_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_เขียน_ถึง_แล้ว เขา_คือ_เยซู_ชาว_เมือง_นาซาเร็ธ ลูก_ของ_โยเซฟ”

46 นาธานาเอล_ย้อน_ถาม_ฟีลิป_ว่า “นาซาเร็ธ_น่ะ_หรือ จะ_มี_ของดี_อะไร_มา_จาก_เมือง_นั้น_ได้” ฟีลิป_ตอบ_ว่า “ตาม_มา_ดู_สิ”

47 เมื่อ_พระ_เยซู_เห็น_นาธานาเอล_เดิน_เข้า_มาหา พระองค์_ก็_พูด_ถึง_เขา_ว่า “นี่_ไง คน_อิสราเอล_ขนาน_แท้_ที่_ไม่_มี_เล่ห์_เหลี่ยม_อะไร_เลย”

John 1

The Deity of Jesus Christ

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 He was in the beginning with God.3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not tcomprehend it.

The Witness John

6 There tcame a man sent from God, whose name was John.7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

9 There was the true Light twhich, coming into the world, enlightens every man.10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.11 He came to His town, and those who were His own did not receive Him.12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Word Made Flesh

14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.15 John *testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'"16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

The Testimony of John

19 This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?"20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, "I am not the Christ."21 They asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he *said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."22 Then they said to him, "Who are you, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?"23 He said, "I am A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF THE LORD,' as Isaiah the prophet said."

24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.25 They asked him, and said to him, "Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"26 John answered them saying, "I baptize tin water, but among you stands One whom you do not know.27  It is He who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie."28 These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!30 This is He on behalf of whom I said, 'After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.'31 I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing tin water."32 John testified saying, "I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.33 I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize tin water said to me, 'He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.'34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God."

Jesus' Public Ministry, First Converts

35 Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,36 and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!"37 The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.38 And Jesus turned and saw them following, and *said to them, "What do you seek?" They said to Him, "Rabbi (which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?"39 He *said to them, "Come, and you will see." So they came and saw where He was staying; and they stayed with Him that day, for it was about the ttenth hour.40 One of the two who heard John speak and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.41 He *found first his own brother Simon and *said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which translated means Christ).42 He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon the son of John; you shall be called Cephas" (which is translated Peter).

43 The next day He purposed to go into Galilee, and He *found Philip. And Jesus *said to him, "Follow Me."44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.45 Philip *found Nathanael and *said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote-Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."46 Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip *said to him, "Come and see."47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and *said of him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!"48 Nathanael *said to Him, "How do You know me?" Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you."49 Nathanael answered Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel."50 Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these."51 And He *said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."
