约翰福音 10

羊圈的比喻

1 “我实实在在地告诉你们，那不从门进羊圈，倒从别处爬进去的，就是贼，就是强盗。 2 那从门进去的才是羊的牧人。 3 看门的给他开门，羊也听他的声音。他按著名叫自己的羊，把羊领出来。 4 当他把自己的羊都放出来，就走在前面，羊也跟着他，因为它们认得他的声音。 5 羊绝不跟陌生人，反而会逃走，因为不认得陌生人的声音。” 6 耶稣把这比方告诉他们，但他们不明白他所说的是什么。

耶稣是好牧人

7 所以，耶稣又对他们说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，我就是羊的门。 8 凡在我以前t来的都是贼，是强盗；羊没有听从他们。 9 我就是门，凡从我进来的，必得安全t，并且可进出，找到草吃。 10 盗贼来，无非要偷窃，杀害，毁坏；我来了，是要羊得生命，并且得的更丰盛。

11 “我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命。 12 雇工不是牧人，羊不是他自己的，他一看见狼来，就撇下羊群逃跑；狼抓住羊，把它们赶散。 13 雇工逃走，因为他是雇工，对羊毫不关心。 14 我是好牧人；我认识我的羊，我的羊也认识我， 15 正如父认识我，我也认识父一样；并且我为羊舍命。 16 我另外有羊，不属这圈里的，我必须领它们来，它们也要听我的声音，并且要合成一群，归一个牧人。 17 为此，我父爱我，因为我把命舍去，好再取回来。 18 没有人夺去我的命，是我自己舍的；我有权舍弃，也有权再取回。这是我从我父所受的命令。”

19  犹太人为这些话又起了分裂。 20 其中有好些人说：“他是被鬼附了，而且疯了，为什么听他的呢？” 21 另有的说：“这不是被鬼附的人所说的话。鬼岂能开盲人的眼睛呢？”

犹太人弃绝耶稣

22 那时正是冬天，在耶路撒冷有献殿节。 23 耶稣在圣殿里的所罗门廊下行走。 24 犹太人围着他，对他说：“你让我们犹豫不定到几时呢？你若是基督，就明白地告诉我们。” 25 耶稣回答他们：“我已经告诉你们，你们却不信。我奉我父的名所行的事可以为我作见证。 26 但是你们不信，因为你们不是我的羊。 27 我的羊听我的声音，我认识它们，它们也跟从我。 28 并且，我赐给他们永生；他们永不灭亡，谁也不能从我手里把他们夺去。 29 我父所赐给我的比万有都大t，谁也不能从我父手里把他们夺去。 30 我与父原为一。”

31  犹太人又拿起石头来要打他。 32 耶稣回应他们：“我做了许多从父那里来的善事给你们看，你们是为哪一件拿石头打我呢？” 33 犹太人回答他：“我们不是为了善事拿石头打你，而是为了你说亵渎的话；因为你是个人，却把自己当作上帝。” 34 耶稣回答他们：“你们的律法书上不是写着‘我曾说你们是诸神’吗？ 35 经上的话是不能废的；如果那些领受上帝的道的人，上帝尚且称他们为诸神， 36 那么父所分别为圣又差到世上来的那位说‘我是上帝的儿子’，你们还对他说‘你说亵渎的话’吗？ 37 我若不做我父的工作，你们就不必信我； 38 我若做了，你们即使不信我，也当信这些工作，好让你们知道并且明白父在我里面，我也在父里面。” 39 于是，他们又要捉拿他，他却从他们手中逃脱了。

40 耶稣又往约旦河的东边去，到了约翰起初施洗的地方，就住在那里。 41 有许多人来到他那里，说：“约翰没有行过一件神迹，但约翰所说有关这人的一切话都是真的。” 42 在那里，许多人信了耶稣。

JOHN 10

A Story about Sheep

1 Jesus said:
I tell you for certain only thieves and robbers climb over the fence instead of going in through the gate to the sheep pen.

2-3 But the gatekeeper opens the gate for the shepherd, and he goes in through it. The sheep know their shepherd's voice. He calls each of them by name and leads them out.
4 When he has led out all of his sheep, he walks in front of them, and they follow, because they know his voice.

5 The sheep will not follow strangers. They don't recognize a stranger's voice, and they run away.

6 Jesus told the people this story. But they did not understand what he was talking about.

Jesus Is the Good Shepherd

7 Jesus said:
I tell you for certain that I am the gate for the sheep. 8 Everyone who came before me was a thief or a robber, and the sheep did not listen to any of them.

9 I am the gate. All who come in through me will be saved. Through me they will come and go and find pasture.
10 A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so everyone would have life, and have it fully. 11 t I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd gives up his life for his sheep. 12 Hired workers are not like the shepherd. They don't own the sheep, and when they see a wolf coming, they run off and leave the sheep. Then the wolf attacks and scatters the flock.

13 Hired workers run away because they don't care about the sheep.
14  t I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep, and they know me. 15 t Just as the Father knows me, I know the Father, and I give up my life for my sheep.

16 I have other sheep that are not in this sheep pen. I must also bring them together, when they hear my voice. Then there will be one flock of sheep and one shepherd.
17 The Father loves me, because I give up my life, so I may receive it back again.

18 No one takes my life from me. I give it up willingly! I have the power to give it up and the power to receive it back again, just as my Father commanded me to do.
19 The people took sides because of what Jesus had told them.

20 Many of them said, “He has a demon in him! He is crazy! Why listen to him?”

21 But others said, “How could anyone with a demon in him say these things? No one like this could give sight to a blind person!”

Jesus Is Rejected

22  t That winter, Jesus was in Jerusalem for the Temple Festival. 23 One day he was walking in the part of the temple known as Solomon's Porch, t

24 and the people gathered all around him. They said, “How long are you going to keep us guessing? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly!”

25 Jesus answered:
I have told you, and you refused to believe me. The things I do by my Father's authority show who I am. 26 But since you are not my sheep, you don't believe me. 27 My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow me, 28 and I give them eternal life, so that they will never be lost. No one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 t My Father gave them to me, and he is greater than all others.t No one can snatch them from his hands,

30 and I am one with the Father.
31 Once again the people picked up stones in order to kill Jesus.

32 But he said, “I have shown you many good things my Father sent me to do. Which one are you going to stone me for?”

33 They answered, “We are not stoning you because of any good thing you did. We are stoning you because you did a terrible thing. You are just a man, and here you are claiming to be God!”

34  t Jesus replied:
In your Scriptures doesn't God say, “You are gods”? 35 You can't argue with the Scriptures, and God spoke to those people and called them gods. 36 So why do you accuse me of a terrible sin for saying that I am the Son of God? After all, it is the Father who prepared me for this work. He is also the one who sent me into the world. 37 If I don't do as my Father does, you should not believe me.

38 But if I do what my Father does, you should believe because of that, even if you don't have faith in me. Then you will know for certain that the Father is one with me, and I am one with the Father.
39 Again they wanted to arrest Jesus. But he escaped 40 t and crossed the Jordan to the place where John had earlier been baptizing. While Jesus was there, 41 many people came to him. They were saying, “John didn't work any miracles, but everything he said about Jesus is true.” 42 A lot of those people also put their faith in Jesus.
