ヨハネによる福音書 10

一○

1 　「よく言っておきます。　羊の囲いの中に、門から入らないで、柵を乗り越えて忍び込む者は、強盗に違いありません。
2 羊飼いなら、堂々と門から入って来るはずです。　3 門番も羊飼いには門を開けてくれます。　彼の声を聞くと、羊は回りに駆け寄って来ます。　羊飼いは一匹一匹自分の羊の名を呼んで連れ出すのです。　4 先頭に立つのは羊飼い、羊はそのあとについて行きます。　声を知っているからです。　5 知らない人にはついて行きません。　反対に逃げ出します。　聞き覚えのない声だからです。」
6 　イエスがこのたとえ話をなさっても、聞いている人々には、どういう意味かさっぱりわかりません。　7 そこで、イエスは説明なさいました。
「いいですか。　わたしが、羊の出入りする門なのです。　8 わたしより前に来た人々はみな、どろぼうか強盗です。　ほんとうの羊は、彼らの言うことは聞きませんでした。　9 そう、わたしは門なのです。　この門から入る者は救われます。　また、安心して出入りができ、緑の牧草を見つけるのです。　10 強盗は、盗んだり、殺したり、滅ぼしたりするために来ます。　しかしわたしが来たのは、いのちを、あふれるほど豊かに与えるためです。
11 　わたしはまた、良い羊飼いです。　良い羊飼いは羊のためにはいのちも捨てます。　12 雇い人は、狼が来れば、羊など見向きもせず、自分だけ、すぐに逃げ出します。　羊の持ち主でも、羊飼いでもないからです。　こうして狼は羊にとびかかり、群れを追い散らしてしまうのです。　13 雇い人は、ただ、お金で雇われているだけです。　羊のことを、ほんとうに心にかけているわけではないので、平気で逃げてしまうのです。
14 　わたしは良い羊飼いであり、自分の羊を知っています。　また羊もわたしを知っています。　15 わたしの父がわたしを知っておられ、わたしも父を知っているのと同じです。　わたしは羊のためにいのちを捨てるのです。　16 このほかに、別の囲いにも羊がいます。　その羊をも導かなければなりません。　やがてその羊も、わたしの声に注意深く聞き従い、一人の羊飼いのもとに一つの群れとなるのです。
17 　わたしが、再びいのちを得るために、いのちを投げ出すからこそ、父はわたしを愛してくださいます。　18 だれもわたしの意に反して、わたしを殺すことはできません。　自分から進んでいのちを捨てるのです。　わたしには、いのちを自由に捨て、もう一度それを得る権威と力があるからです。　父がこの権威を下さったのです。」
19 　この話のことで、ユダヤ人の指導者たちの意見は、また真っ二つに分かれました。　20 「こいつは悪霊に取りつかれてるか、それとも気が変になってるかだ。　こんなやつの言うことに耳を貸す必要なんかあるもんか」と息まく者があるかと思えば、　21 「いいや、とても悪霊に取りつかれた者のことばとは思えないな。　だいいち、悪霊に盲人の目を開けることなんかできるはずもないだろう」と言い返す者も出るというしまつです。
宮きよめの祭りにおけるイエス
22-23 時は冬でした。　宮きよめの祭りがあり、イエスもエルサレムにおられました。　ちょうど、宮の中のソロモンの廊と呼ばれる所を歩いておられると、　24 ユダヤ人の指導者たちが来て、まわりを取り囲みました。　「いつまで気をもませるつもりです？　キリスト様なら、はっきりそう言ったらいいでしょう。」
25 　彼らの質問に、イエスはお答えになりました。　「そのことだったら、もう話しました。　もっとも、あなたがたは信じませんでしたが。　父の御名によって、何度も奇蹟を行なったでしょう。　証拠はそれで十分なはずです。　26 それでも、あなたがたはわたしを信じないのです。　あなたがたはわたしの羊の群れに属さないのですから、しかたがありません。　27 わたしの羊はわたしの声を聞き分けます。　わたしは彼らを知っているし、彼らもわたしにはついて来ます。　28 わたしは彼らに永遠のいのちを与えるのです。　だから、絶対に滅びたりはしません。　だれも、わたしの手から彼らを奪い取ることはできません。　29 父がわたしに下さった群れなのですから。　父はだれよりも力があります。　わたしの羊をさらうことなんか、だれにもできません。　30 わたしと父とは一つです。」
31 　これを聞いて、ユダヤ人の指導者たちは、にわかに石をつかみました。　イエスを打ち殺そうというのです。
32 　「わたしは、神の指図どおり、たくさんの奇蹟を行なって、人々を助けただけです。　そのどこがいけなくて殺されなければならないのでしょうか？」
33 　「なにも良い行ないを責めてるわけじゃない。　神様を汚したからだ。　ただの人間のくせに、神だなどとぬかしおって！」
34 　「あなたがたの律法には、『わたしは言った。　「あなたがたは神神だ」』と書いてあるではありませんか。　35 無効になることのありえない聖書が、神のことばを受けた人々を神々と呼んでいるのです。　36 とすれば、父がきよめ分かち、この世にお遣わしになった者が、『わたしは神の子だ』と言うのが、どうして神を汚すことになるのですか。　37 わたしが神の奇蹟を行なっていないのなら、わたしを信じなくてかまいません。　38 しかし、もし神の奇蹟を行なっているのなら、わたしを信じないにしても、奇蹟そのものは信用しなさい。　父がわたしのうちにおられ、わたしが父のうちにいることが、はっきりわかるでしょう。」
39 　彼らが、またも逮捕しかねない勢いなので、イエスはうまくその場を切り抜けられ、エルサレムをあとになさいました。　40 そして、ヨルダン川を渡り、ヨハネが最初にバプテスマ（洗礼）を授けていたあたりにおられましたが、　41 ここでも、大ぜいの人が、あとからあとから詰めかけます。
彼らは口々に言いました。　「ヨハネは一つも奇蹟を行なわなかったけど、この方について話したことは、何もかもそのとおりになったな。」　42 こうして、大ぜいの人が、イエスこそメシヤ（救い主）だと信じるようになったのです。ラザロの死

John 10

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.4 When he hath put forth all his own, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.7 Jesus therefore said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.8 All that came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.9 I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.10 The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.12 He that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholdeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, and the wolf snatcheth them, and scattereth them:13 he fleeth because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.14 I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me,15 even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice: and they shall become one flock, one shepherd.17 Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.18 No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.19 There arose a division again among the Jews because of these words.20 And many of them said, He hath a demon, and is mad; why hear ye him?21 Others said, These are not the sayings of one possessed with a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?22 And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem:23 it was winter; and Jesus was walking in the temple in Solomon’s porch.24 The Jews therefore came round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, these bear witness of me.26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep.27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.29 My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.30 I and the Father are one.31 The Jews took up stones again to stone him.32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from the Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?33 The Jews answered him, For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods?35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken),36 say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.38 But if I do them, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.39 They sought again to take him: and he went forth out of their hand.40 And he went away again beyond the Jordan into the place where John was at the first baptizing; and there be abode.41 And many came unto him; and they said, John indeed did no sign: but all things whatsoever John spake of this man were true.42 And many believed on him there.
