2 พวก_เขา_กำลัง_กิน_อาหาร_เย็น_อยู่ มารร้าย_ได้_ดลใจ_ยูดาส ลูก_ของ_ซีโมน_อิสคาริโอท ให้_ทรยศ_พระองค์_อยู่_ก่อน_แล้ว

3 พระ_เยซู_รู้_ว่า_พระบิดา_ให้_พระองค์_มี_อำนาจ_เหนือ_ทุก_สิ่ง_ทุก_อย่าง และ_พระองค์_รู้_ว่า_ตัวเอง_มา_จาก_พระเจ้า และ_กำลัง_จะ_กลับ_ไป_หา_พระเจ้า

4 พระองค์_จึง_ลุก_จาก_โต๊ะ_อาหาร ถอด_เสื้อคลุม_ออก_แล้ว_เอา_ผ้า_เช็ด_ตัว_มา_มัด_เอว_ไว้

5 พระองค์_เท_น้ำ_ใส่_อ่าง แล้ว_เอา_ไป_ล้าง_เท้า_ให้_พวก_ศิษย์_ของ_พระองค์ แล้ว_เอา_ผ้า_ที่_มัด_เอว_เช็ด_เท้า_ให้_พวก_เขา

6 เมื่อ_มา_ถึง_ซีโมน เปโตร เขา_ถาม_พระ_เยซู_ว่า “อาจารย์_จะ_ล้าง_เท้า_ของ_ผม_หรือ”

7 พระ_เยซู_ตอบ_ว่า “ตอน_นี้_คุณ_ไม่_เข้า_ใจ_หรอก_ว่า_เรา_กำลัง_ทำ_อะไร แต่_ที_หลัง_คุณ_จะ_เข้า_ใจ_เอง”

8 เปโตร_จึง_บอก_ว่า “ไม่_มี_ทาง_ที่_ผม_จะ_ยอม_ให้_อาจารย์_ล้าง_เท้า_ของ_ผม_หรอก”
พระ_เยซู_บอก_ว่า “ถ้า_เรา_ไม่_ได้_ล้าง_คุณ คุณ_ก็_ไม่_ได้_เป็น_ของ_เรา”

9 ซีโมน เปโตร จึง_บอก_ว่า “อาจารย์ ถ้า_อย่าง_นั้น อย่า_แค่_ล้าง_เท้า_เลย ล้าง_ทั้ง_มือ_และ_หัว_ของ_ผม_ด้วย_นะ_ครับ”

10 พระ_เยซู_พูด_กับ_เขา_ว่า “คน_ที่_อาบน้ำ_ก็_สะอาด_ทั้ง_ตัว_แล้ว ล้าง_แต่_เท้า_ก็_พอ พวก_คุณ_บางคน_ก็_สะอาด_แล้ว แต่_ไม่_ใช่_ทุก_คน”

11 (พระองค์_รู้_ว่า_ใคร_จะ_ทรยศ_พระองค์ พระองค์_ถึง_พูด_ว่า “ไม่_ใช่_พวก_คุณ_ทุก_คน_ที่_สะอาด”)

12 เมื่อ_พระองค์_ล้าง_เท้า_ให้_พวก_ศิษย์_ทุก_คน_แล้ว พระองค์_ก็_ใส่_เสื้อคลุม_และ_กลับ_มา_นั่ง_ที่_โต๊ะ_อาหาร แล้ว_ถาม_พวก_เขา_ว่า “พวก_คุณ_เข้า_ใจ_หรือ_เปล่า_ว่า_เรา_ทำ_อะไร

13 พวก_คุณ_เรียก_เรา_ว่า ‘อาจารย์’ และ ‘องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต’ ที่_คุณ_เรียก_อย่าง_นั้น_ก็_ถูกต้อง_แล้ว เพราะ_เรา_เป็น_อย่าง_นั้น_จริงๆ

14 ถ้า_เรา_ที่_เป็น_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_และ_อาจารย์_ของ_พวก_คุณ_ยัง_ล้าง_เท้า_ให้_กับ_พวก_คุณ พวก_คุณ_ก็_ควร_จะ_ล้าง_เท้า_ให้_แก่_กัน_และ_กัน_ด้วย

15 เรา_ได้_ทำ_เป็น_ตัวอย่าง_ให้_ดู_แล้ว พวก_คุณ_ก็_ควร_จะ_ทำ_ตาม

16 เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า_ทาส_ไม่_ยิ่ง_ใหญ่_ไป_กว่า_นาย และ_คน_ส่งข่าว_ก็_ไม่_ยิ่ง_ใหญ่_ไป_กว่า_คน_ที่_ส่ง_เขา_มา

17 ถ้า_คุณ_เข้า_ใจ_สิ่ง_เหล่า_นี้_แล้ว และ_ทำ_ตาม_นั้น คุณ_ก็_มี_เกียรติ_จริงๆ

18 เรา_ไม่_ได้_พูด_ถึง_พวก_คุณ_ทุก_คน เรา_รู้จัก_คน_ที่_เรา_ได้_เลือก_ไว้ แต่_สิ่ง_ที่_พระคัมภีร์ บอก_ไว้_ว่า ‘คน_ที่_กิน_อาหาร_ของ_เรา กลาย_เป็น_ศัตรู_ของ_เรา’t จะ_ต้อง_สำ_เสร็จ

19 ตอน_นี้_มัน_ยัง_ไม่_เกิด_ขึ้น แต่_เรา_บอก_ไว้_ก่อน_ล่วงหน้า พอ_มัน_เกิด_ขึ้น_คุณ_จะ_ได้_เชื่อ_ว่า_เรา_คือ_คน_ที่_เรา_บอก_ว่า_เรา_เป็น

พระ_เย_ซูบ_อก_ว่า_ใคร_จะ_หักหลัง_พระองค์

21 เมื่อ_พระ_เยซู_พูด_จบ_แล้ว พระองค์_ก็_กลุ้ม_ใจ_มาก และ_พูด_ออก_มา_ว่า “เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า_คน_หนึ่ง_ใน_พวก_คุณ_จะ_หักหลัง_เรา”

22 พวก_ศิษย์_ต่าง_หัน_ไป_มอง_หน้า_กัน สงสัย_ว่า_พระองค์_พูด_ถึง_ใคร

23 พอดี_ศิษย์_คน_หนึ่ง_ที่_พระองค์_รัก_เป็น_พิเศษ_นั่ง_เอน_ตัว_ติด_อยู่_กับ_พระ_เยซู_ที่_โต๊ะ

24 ซีโมน เปโตร_จึง_พยักหน้า_ให้_เขา_ถาม_พระองค์_ว่า_พระองค์_กำลัง_พูด_ถึง_ใคร

25 ศิษย์_คน_นั้น_จึง_เอน_ตัว_มา_ใกล้_กับ_อก_ของ_พระ_เยซู แล้ว_ถาม_ว่า “อาจารย์_พูด_ถึง_ใคร_ครับ”

26 พระ_เยซู_ต_อบ_ว่า “คน_ที่_เรา_จะ_ยื่น_ขนมปัง_ที่_จุ่ม_ใน_ถ้วย_นี้_ให้” แล้ว_พระองค์_ก็_เอา_ขนมปัง_จุ่ม_ลง_ใน_ถ้วย_ยื่น_ให้_ยูดาส ลูก_ของ_ซีโมน อิสคาริโอท

27 เมื่อ_ยูดาส_หยิบ_ขนมปัง_ชิ้น_นั้น_แล้ว ซาตาน_ก็_เข้า_สิง_เขา พระ_เยซู_จึง_พูด_กับ_ยูดาส_ว่า “จะ_ทำ_อะไร ก็_รีบ_ทำ_ซะ”

28 ทุก_คน_ที่_นั่ง_เอน_ตัว_อยู่_ที่_โต๊ะ_อาหาร ก็_ไม่_รู้_ว่า_ทำ_ไม_พระ_เยซู_ถึง_พูด_กับ_ยูดาส_อย่าง_นั้น

29 บาง_คน_คิด_ว่า_เป็น_เพราะ_ยูดาส_เป็น_คน_ดูแล_ถุง_เงิน พระ_เยซู_ก็_เลย_บอก_ให้_เขา_ไป_ซื้อ_ของ_ที่_ต้อง_ใช้_ใน_งาน_เทศกาล หรือ_ว่า_พระองค์_อาจ_จะ_บอก_ให้_ยูดาส_แจก_ของ_ให้_กับ_คน_จน_บ้าง

30 เมื่อ_ยูดาส_รับ_ขนมปัง_ชิ้น_นั้น เขา_ก็_ออก_ไป_ทัน_ที ตอน_นั้น_เป็น_เว_ลา_กลาง_คืน_แล้ว

31 หลัง_จาก_ที่_ยูดาส_ออก_ไป_แล้ว พระ_เยซู_พูด_ว่า “ถึง_เวลา_แล้ว_ที่_ผู้คน_จะ_ได้_เห็น_ว่า_บุตร_มนุษย์_จะ_ได้_รับ_เกียรติ_ขนาด_ไหน และ_พระเจ้า_จะ_ได้_รับ_เกียรติ_ผ่าน_ทาง_บุตร_มนุษย์_นั้น

32 แล้ว_ถ้า_พระเจ้า_ได้_รับ_เกียรติ_ผ่าน_ทาง_บุตร_มนุษย์_นั้น พระองค์_เอง_ก็_จะ_ให้_เกียรติ_กับ_พระบุตร_และ_จะ_ทำ_อย่าง_นั้น_ทัน_ที

33 ลูกๆ_ที่รัก เรา_จะ_อยู่_กับ_พวก_คุณ_อีก_ประ_เดี๋ยว_เดียว_เท่า_นั้น แล้ว_คุณ_ก็_จะ_ตาม_หา_เรา เรา_จะ_บอก_กับ_พวก_คุณ_อย่าง_ที่_เรา_เคย_บอก_พวก_ยิว_แล้ว_ว่า ที่_ที่_เรา_กำลัง_จะ_ไป_นั้น พวก_คุณ_ไป_ไม่_ได้

34 เรา_จะ_ให้_คำ_สั่ง_ใหม่_กับ_พวก_คุณ คือ_ให้_รัก_ซึ่ง_กัน_และ_กัน พวก_คุณ_ต้อง_รัก_กัน_เหมือน_กับ_ที่_เรา_รัก_คุณ

35 ถ้า_พวก_คุณ_รัก_กัน ทุก_คน_ก็_จะ_รู้_ว่า_พวก_คุณ_เป็น_ศิษย์_ของ_เรา”

พระ_เยซู_ว่า_เปโตร_จะ_//ปฏิเสธ_พระองค์

36 ซีโมน เปโตร_ถาม_ว่า “อาจารย์_จะ_ไป_ไหน_หรือ_ครับ”
พระ_เยซู_ตอบ_เขา_ว่า “ที่_ที่_เรา_จะ_ไป_นั้น_ตอน_นี้_คุณ_ตาม_เรา_ไป_ไม่_ได้ แต่_คุณ_จะ_ตาม_เรา_ไป_ที_หลัง”

37 เปโตร_เลย_ถาม_อีก_ว่า “อาจารย์ ทำ_ไม_ผม_ถึง_ตาม_ไป_ตอน_นี้_ไม่_ได้_ล่ะ_ครับ ผม_พร้อม_ที่_จะ_ตาย_เพื่อ_อาจารย์”

38 พระ_เยซู_ตอบ_ว่า “คุณ_พร้อม_ที่_จะ_ตาย_เพื่อ_เรา_หรือ เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า พรุ่งนี้_เช้า ก่อน_ไก่_ขัน คุณ_จะ_ปฏิเสธ_เรา_ถึง_สาม_ครั้ง”

John 13

The Lord's Supper

1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.2 During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him,3  Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,4 *got up from supper, and *laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself.

Jesus Washes the Disciples' Feet

5 Then He *poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.6 So He *came to Simon Peter. He *said to Him, "Lord, do You wash my feet?"7 Jesus answered and said to him, "What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter."8 Peter *said to Him, "Never shall You wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."9 Simon Peter *said to Him, "Lord, then wash not only my feet, but also my hands and my head."10 Jesus *said to him, "He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."11 For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, "Not all of you are clean."

12 So when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?13 You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am.14 If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.15 For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.16 Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him.17 If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.18 I do not speak of all of you. I know the ones I have chosen; but it is that the Scripture may be fulfilled, 'HE WHO EATS MY BREAD HAS LIFTED UP HIS HEEL AGAINST ME.'19 From now on I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am He.20 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me."

Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

21 When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified and said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, that one of you will betray Me."22 The disciples began looking at one another, at a loss to know of which one He was speaking.23 There was reclining on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.24 So Simon Peter *gestured to him, and *said to him, "Tell us who it is of whom He is speaking."25 He, leaning back thus on Jesus' bosom, *said to Him, "Lord, who is it?"26 Jesus then *answered, "That is the one for whom I shall dip the morsel and give it to him." So when He had dipped the morsel, He *took and *gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.27 After the morsel, Satan then entered into him. Therefore Jesus *said to him, "What you do, do quickly."28 Now no one of those reclining at the table knew for what purpose He had said this to him.29 For some were supposing, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus was saying to him, "Buy the things we have need of for the feast"; or else, that he should give something to the poor.30 So after receiving the morsel he went out immediately; and it was night.

31 Therefore when he had gone out, Jesus *said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in Him;32 if God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately.33 Little children, I am with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you, 'Where I am going, you cannot come.'34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.35 By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

36 Simon Peter *said to Him, "Lord, where are You going?" Jesus answered, "Where I go, you cannot follow Me now; but you will follow later."37 Peter *said to Him, "Lord, why can I not follow You right now? I will lay down my life for You."38 Jesus *answered, "Will you lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, a rooster will not crow until you deny Me three times.
