Jesu Ni Ọ̀nà Dé Ọ̀dọ̀ Baba

1 Ẹ maṣe jẹ ki ọkàn nyin dàru: ẹ gbà Ọlọrun gbọ́, ẹ gbà mi gbọ́ pẹlu. 2 Ninu ile Baba mi ọ̀pọlọpọ ibugbe li o wà: ibamáṣe bẹ̃, emi iba ti sọ fun nyin. Nitori emi nlọ ipèse àye silẹ fun nyin. 3 Bi mo ba si lọ ipèse àye silẹ fun nyin, emi o tún pada wá, emi o si mu nyin lọ sọdọ emi tikarami; pe nibiti emi gbé wà, ki ẹnyin le wà nibẹ pẹlu. 4 Ẹnyin si mọ̀ ibi ti emi gbé nlọ, ẹ si mọ̀ ọ̀na na. 5 Tomasi wi fun u pe, Oluwa, a kò mọ̀ ibiti o gbe nlọ; a o ha ti ṣe mọ̀ ọ̀na na? 6 Jesu wi fun u pe, Emi li ọ̀na, ati otitọ, ati iye: kò si ẹnikẹni ti o le wá sọdọ Baba, bikoṣe nipasẹ mi. 7 Ibaṣepe ẹnyin ti mọ̀ mi, ẹnyin iba ti mọ̀ Baba mi pẹlu: lati isisiyi lọ ẹnyin mọ̀ ọ, ẹ si ti ri i. 8 Filippi wi fun u pe, Oluwa, fi Baba na hàn wa, o si to fun wa. 9 Jesu wi fun u pe, Bi akokò ti mo ba nyin gbé ti pẹ to yi, iwọ kò si ti imọ̀ mi sibẹ̀ Filippi? ẹniti o ba ti ri mi, o ti ri Baba; iwọ ha ti ṣe wipe, Fi Baba hàn wa? 10 Iwọ kò ha gbagbọ́ pe, Emi wà ninu Baba, ati pe Baba wà ninu mi? ọ̀rọ ti emi nsọ fun nyin, emi kò da a sọ; ṣugbọn Baba ti ngbé inu mi, on ni nṣe iṣẹ rẹ̀. 11 Ẹ gbà mi gbọ́ pe, emi wà ninu Baba, Baba si wà ninu mi: bikoṣe bẹ̃, ẹ gbà mi gbọ́ nitori awọn iṣẹ na pãpã. 12 Lõtọ, lõtọ ni mo wi fun nyin, Ẹniti o ba gbà mi gbọ́, iṣẹ ti emi nṣe li on na yio ṣe pẹlu; iṣẹ ti o tobi jù wọnyi lọ ni yio si ṣe; nitoriti emi nlọ sọdọ Baba. 13 Ohunkohun ti ẹnyin ba si bère li orukọ mi, on na li emi ó ṣe, ki a le yìn Baba logo ninu Ọmọ.

14 Bi ẹnyin ba bère ohunkohun li orukọ mi, emi ó ṣe e.

Jesu Ṣèlérí pé Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́ yóo Wá


15 Bi ẹnyin ba fẹran mi, ẹ ó pa ofin mi mọ́. 16 Emi ó si bère lọwọ Baba, on ó si fun nyin li Olutunu miran, ki o le mã ba nyin gbé titi lailai, 17 Ani Ẹmí otitọ nì; ẹniti araiye kò le gbà, nitoriti kò ri i, bẹ̃ni kò si mọ̀ ọ: ṣugbọn ẹnyin mọ̀ ọ; nitoriti o mba nyin gbe, yio si wà ninu nyin. 18 Emi kì o fi nyin silẹ li alaini baba: emi ó tọ̀ nyin wá. 19 Nigba diẹ si i, aiye ki ó si ri mi mọ́; ṣugbọn ẹnyin ó ri mi: nitoriti emi wà lãye, ẹnyin ó wà lãye pẹlu. 20 Li ọjọ na li ẹnyin o mọ̀ pe, emi wà ninu Baba mi, ati ẹnyin ninu mi, ati emi ninu nyin. 21 Ẹniti o ba li ofin mi, ti o ba si npa wọn mọ́, on li ẹniti ọ fẹràn mi: ẹniti o ba si fẹràn mi, a o fẹrán rẹ̀ lati ọdọ Baba mi wá, emi o si fẹràn rẹ̀, emi o si fi ara mi hàn fun u. 22 Judasi wi fun u pe, (kì iṣe Iskariotu) Oluwa, ẽhatiṣe ti iwọ ó fi ara rẹ hàn fun awa, ti kì yio si ṣe fun araiye? 23 Jesu dahùn o si wi fun u pe, Bi ẹnikan ba fẹràn mi, yio pa ọ̀rọ mi mọ́: Baba mi yio si fẹran rẹ̀, awa o si tọ̀ ọ wá, a o si ṣe ibugbe wa pẹlu rẹ̀. 24 Ẹniti kò fẹràn mi ni ko pa ọ̀rọ mi mọ́: ọ̀rọ ti ẹnyin ngbọ́ kì si iṣe ti emi, ṣugbọn ti Baba ti o rán mi. 25 Nkan wọnyi li emi ti sọ fun nyin, nigbati mo mba nyin gbe. 26 Ṣugbọn Olutunu na, Ẹmí Mimọ́, ẹniti Baba yio rán li orukọ mi, on ni yio kọ́ nyin li ohun gbogbo, yio si rán nyin leti ohun gbogbo ti mo ti sọ fun nyin. 27 Alafia ni mo fi silẹ fun nyin, alafia mi ni mo fifun nyin: kì iṣe gẹgẹ bi aiye iti fi funni li emi fifun nyin. Ẹ máṣe jẹ ki okàn nyin daru, ẹ má si jẹ ki o warìri. 28 Ẹnyin sá ti gbọ́ bi mo ti wi fun nyin pe, Emi nlọ, emi ó si tọ̀ nyin wá. Ibaṣepe ẹnyin fẹràn mi, ẹnyin iba yọ̀ nitori emi nlọ sọdọ Baba: nitori Baba mi tobi jù mi lọ. 29 Emi si ti sọ fun nyin nisisiyi ki o to ṣẹ, pe nigbati o ba ṣẹ, ki ẹ le gbagbọ́. 30 Emi kì o ba nyin sọ̀rọ pipọ: nitori aladé aiye yi wá, kò si ni nkankan lọdọ mi. 31 Ṣugbọn nitori ki aiye le mọ̀ pe emi fẹràn Baba; gẹgẹ bi Baba si ti fi aṣẹ fun mi, bẹ̃ni emi nṣe. Ẹ dide, ẹ jẹ ki a lọ kuro nihinyi.

John 14

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

1 "Do not let your heart be troubled; tbelieve in God, believe also in Me.2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.4 And you know the way where I am going."5 Thomas *said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?"6 Jesus *said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Oneness with the Father

7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."

8 Philip *said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us."9 Jesus *said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves.12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.13 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

Role of the Spirit

16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

18 "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.19 After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, "Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?"23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.

25 "These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you.26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.28 You heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.29 Now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe.30 I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;31 but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me. Get up, let us go from here.
