1 Okwu ndia ka M'gwaworo unu, ka ewe ghara ime ka unu ma n'ọnyà. 2 Ha gāchupu unu nime ulo-nzukọ: e, oge hour nābia, ka ọ gābu na onye ọ bula nke gēb͕u unu gēchè na ọ nējere Chineke ozi. 3 Ihe ndia ka ha gēme kwa, n'ihi na ha amaghi Nnam, ha amaghi kwa Mu. 4 Ma okwu ndia ka M'gwaworo unu, ka, mb͕e ọ bula oge hour ha gābia, ka unu we cheta ha, na Mu onwem gwara unu. Ma agwaghm unu okwu ndia site na mbu, n'ihi na Mu na unu nọri. 5 Ma ub͕u a anamalakuru Onye ziterem; ọ dighi kwa onye ọ bula nime unu nājum, Òle ebe I nāla? 6 Kama n'ihi na M'gwawo unu okwu ndia, ihe-nwuta ejuputawo obi-unu. 7 Otú ọ di, Mu onwem nāgwa unu ezi-okwu; Ọ bu ihe bara unu urù ka Mu onwem la: n'ihi na asi na alaghm, Onye-nkasi-obi ahu agaghi-abiakute unu; ma ọ buru na alam, M'gēzite Ya nye unu. 8 Onye ahu, mgbe Ọ gābia, Ọ gātu kwa uwa nmehie, na ezi omume, na ikpé, n'anya: 9 nmehie, n'ihi na ha ekweghi na Mu; 10 ezi omume, n'ihi na anamalakuru Nnam, unu adighi-ahu-kwam ọzọ site n'ub͕u a; 11 ikpé, n'ihi na ekpewo onye-isi uwa nka ikpé. 12 Enwerem ọtutu ihe ọzọ igwa unu, ma unu apughi ibūru ha ub͕u a. 13 Ma mb͕e ọ bula Onye ahu gābia, bú Mọ nke ezi-okwu, Ọ gēdubà unu n'ezi-okwu nile: n'ihi na Ọ gaghi-ekwu n'Onwe-ya; kama ka ihe Ọ nānu ra, ihe ndia ka Ọ gēkwu: Ọ gākọ-kwa-ra unu ihe nile nke nābia. 14 Onye ahu gēto Mu onwem: n'ihi na Ọ gēwere n'ihe nkem, kọ-kwa-ra unu ya. 15 Ka ha ra, bú ihe nile Nnam nēnwe, bu nkem: n'ihi nka ka M'siri, na Ọ nēwere n'ihe nkem, gākọ-kwa-ra unu ya. 16 Ọ fọduru nwa oge, unu adighi-ahukwam, ọzọ kwa, ọ fọduru nwa oge, unu gāhukwam. 17 Ya mere ufọdu nime ndi nēso uzọ-Ya siritara ibe-ha, Gini bu okwu a nke Ọ nāgwa ayi, si, Ọ fọduru nwa oge, unu adighi-ahukwam, ọzọ kwa, ọ fọduru nwa oge, unu gāhukwam: na, N'ihi na anamalakuru Nnam? 18 Ya mere ha nāsi, Gini bu okwu a nke Ọ nēkwu, Ọ fọduru nwa oge? Ayi amataghi ihe Ọ nēkwu. 19 Jisus mara na ha nāchọ iju Ya, O we si ha, Ùnu nājurita onwe-unu ihe bayere nka, na M'siri, Ọ fọduru nwa oge, unu adighi-ahukwam ọzọ; ọzọ kwa, ọ fọduru nwa oge, unu gāhukwam? 20 N'ezie, n'ezie, asim unu, na unu onwe-unu gēti nkpu ákwá, kwa kwa ákwá, ma uwa gāṅuri ọṅu: ọ gēwuta unu onwe-unu, ma nwuta-unu gāghọ ọṅù. 21 Nwanyi, mb͕e ọ bula ime nēme ya, o nwere ihe-nwuta, n'ihi na oge hour ya abiawo: ma mb͕e ọ bula ọ muputara nwa, o chetaghi ahuhu-ya ọzọ, n'ihi ọṅù-ya na amuputara madu n'uwa. 22 Ya mere unu onwe-unu nēnwe kwa ihe-nwuta ub͕u a: ma M'gāhu unu ọzọ, obi-unu gāṅuri kwa ọṅu, ọ dighi kwa onye ọ bula gānara unu ọṅù-unu. 23 N'ubọchi ahu ọ dighi ihe ọ bula unu gājum. N'ezie, n'ezie, asim unu, Ọ buru na unu gāriọ Nnam ihe ọ bula, Ọ gēnye unu ya n'aham.
24 Rue ub͕u a unu akāriọghi ihe ọ bula n'aham: riọnu, unu gāriọta kwa, ka ọṅù-unu we zue oke.
25 Agwawom unu ihe ndia n'ilu: oge hour nābia, mb͕e M'nāgaghi-agwa unu okwu n'ilu ọzọ, kama M'gāgwawa unu okwu bayere Nnam. 26 N'ubọchi ahu unu gāriọ n'aham: ma asighm unu, na Mu onwem gēkpere Nnam n'ihi unu; 27 n'ihi na Nnam onwe-ya nāhu unu n'anya, n'ihi na unu onwe-unu huworom n'anya, kwere kwa na Mu onwem siri n'ebe Nnam nọ puta. 28 Esirim na Nnam puta, abiawokwam n'uwa: ọzọ, anamarapu uwa, nāgakuru kwa Nnam. 29 Ndi nēso uzọ-Ya si, Le, ub͕u a I nēkwuwa okwu, I dighi-atu kwa ilu. 30 Ub͕u a ayi nāmata na I matara ihe nile, na ọ dighi kwa Gi nkpà ka onye ọ bula jua Gi: nka ka ayi ji kwere na I siri n'ebe Chineke nọ puta. 31 Jisus zara ha, si, Ọ̀ bu ub͕u a ka unu kwere? 32 Le, oge hour nābia, ọ biawo kwa, ka unu gāb͕asa, onye ọ bula ọ la na nke ya, unu gārapu kwa nání Mu: otú ọ di, nání Mu anọghi, n'ihi na Mu na Nnam nọ. 33 Okwu ndia ka M'gwaworo unu, ka unu we nwe udo nimem. N'uwa unu nēnwe nkpab͕u: ma nwenu obi-ike; Mu onwem emeriwo uwa.
John 16
1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be caused to stumble.2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the hour cometh, that whosoever killeth you shall think that he offereth service unto God.3 And these things will they do, because they have not known the Father, nor me.4 But these things have I spoken unto you, that when their hour is come, ye may remember them, how that I told you. And these things I said not unto you from the beginning, because I was with you.5 But now I go unto him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?6 But because I have spoken these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.8 And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:9 of sin, because they believe not on me;10 of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;11 of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.14 He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.15 All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.16 A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.17 Some of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith.19 Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world.22 And ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you.23 And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be made full.25 These things have I spoken unto you in dark sayings: the hour cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in dark sayings, but shall tell you plainly of the Father.26 In that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you;27 for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.28 I came out from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go unto the Father.29 His disciples say, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no dark saying.30 Now know we that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.33 These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
