JUAN 17
Nag-ampo si Jesus Alang sa Iyang mga Sumusunod
1 Human kadto isulti ni Jesus, mihangad siya sa langit ug miingon,2 Kay gihatagan mo akog katungod sa paggahom sa tanang tawo, aron mahatagan ko sa kinabuhi nga walay kataposan ang tanan kanila nga imong gihatag kanako.3 Mao kini ang kinabuhi nga walay kataposan: nga ang mga tawo mag-ila kanimo nga mao lamang ang tinuod nga Dios ug mag-ila usab kanako nga imong gipadala.4 Gipasidunggan ko ikaw dinhi sa kalibotan tungod kay nahuman ko na ang imong gipabuhat kanako.
5 Busa karon Amahan, pasidunggi ako diha sa imong presensya. Ihatag kanako ang dungog nga akoa kaniadto sa diha pa ako uban kanimo, sa wala mo pa mugnaa ang kalibotan.
7 Karon nahibaloan na nila nga ang tanan nga imong gihatag kanako naggikan kanimo.
8 Kon unsa ang imong gitudlo kanako mao usab ang akong gitudlo kanila, ug kini gidawat nila. Ug nahibaloan nila nga ako tinuod gayod nga naggikan kanimo. Ug nagatuo sila nga ikaw ang nagpadala kanako.
10 Ang tanan nga akoa, imo, ug ang tanan nga imo, akoa usab. Ug gipasidunggan nila ako.11 Karon mobalik na ako diha kanimo ug dili na ako magpuyo niini nga kalibotan. Apan sila magpabilin pa dinhi. O balaan nga Amahan, pinaagi sa imong gahom nga imong gihatag kanako bantayi kini nga mga tawo aron silang tanan mahiusa sama nga ikaw ug ako usa lang.12 Sa akong pagpakig-uban kanila gibantayan ko sila pinaagi sa imong gahom nga gihatag mo kanako. Gibantayan ko sila, ug wala gayoy nawala kanila, gawas lang sa tawo nga gitakda na nga mawala, aron matuman ang Kasulatan.13 Karon mobalik na ako diha kanimo. Kining mga butanga ginasulti ko nang daan kanila samtang ania pa ako sa kalibotan aron malipay gayod sila sama kanako.14 Gitudlo ko kanila ang imong gipatudlo kanako. Gikasilagan sila sa mga tawo sa kalibotan, kay dili na sila iya sa kalibotan, sama usab kanako nga dili iya sa kalibotan.15 Dili ako mag-ampo nga kuhaon mo na sila dinhi sa kalibotan, kondili panalipdan mo sila batok kang Satanas.16 Dili sila iya sa kalibotan, ingon nga ako dili usab iya sa kalibotan.17 Ilain sila aron mahimong imo pinaagi sa kamatuoran; ang imong pulong mao ang kamatuoran.18 Ingon nga ako gipadala mo dinhi sa kalibotan, gipadala ko usab sila sa pagtudlo sa mga tawo dinhi sa kalibotan.
19 Tungod kanila ginahalad ko kanimo ang akong kaugalingon, aron mahimong imo usab sila pinaagi sa kamatuoran.
21 Nagaampo ako kanimo nga silang tanan mahiusa, sama nga ikaw ug ako usa lang. Ug ingon nga ikaw, Amahan, ania kanako ug ako anaa kanimo, hinaut nga ania usab sila kanato, aron nga ang mga tawo sa kalibotan motuo nga ikaw ang nagpadala kanako.22 Gihatagan ko silag kadungganan nga sama usab sa gihatag mo kanako, aron mahiusa sila sama usab kanato nga usa lang.
23 Ako anaa kanila ug ikaw ania kanako, aron nga mahiusa gayod sila, ug sa ingon niini nga pamaagi masayran sa mga tawo sa kalibotan nga ikaw mao ang nagpadala kanako. Ug masayran usab nila nga gimahal mo ang mga tumutuo sama sa imong pagmahal kanako.
25 Matarong nga Amahan, ang mga tawo sa kalibotan wala makaila kanimo. Apan ako nakaila kanimo, ug sila nga akong mga kauban nasayod nga ikaw mao ang nagpadala kanako.26 Gipaila ko ikaw kanila, ug ipaila ko pa gayod ikaw, aron ang imong paghigugma kanako maanaa kanila, ug ako usab maanaa kanila."

Jesus Prays for the Father to Glorify Him
1 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upwardts to heavent and said, “Father, the timets has come. Glorify your Son, so that yourst Son may glorify you –2 just as you have given him authority over all humanity,t so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.t3 Now thist is eternal lifes – that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ,t whom you sent.4 I glorified you on earth by completingts the work you gave me to do.t
5 And now, Father, glorify me at your sidet with the glory I had with you before the world was created.ts
Jesus Prays for the Disciples
6 “I have revealedt your name to the ment you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you,t and you gave them to me, and they have obeyedt your word.7 Now they understandt that everythingt you have given me comes from you,8 because I have given them the words you have given me. Theyt acceptedt themt and reallyt understandt that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.9 I am prayingt on behalf of them. I am not prayingt on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you.t10 Everythingt I have belongs to you,t and everything you have belongs to me,t and I have been glorified by them.ts11 It am no longer in the world, butt they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safet in your namet that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.t12 When I was with them I kept them safet and watched over themt in your namet that you have given me. Not onet of them was lost except the one destined for destruction,tst so that the scripture could be fulfilled.s13 But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experiencet my joy completedt in themselves.14 I have given them your word,t and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world,t just as I do not belong to the world.t15 I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safet from the evil one.t16 They do not belong to the worldt just as I do not belong to the world.t17 Set them apartts in the truth; your word is truth.18 Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world.s
19 And I set myself apartts on their behalf,t so that they too may be truly set apart.t
Jesus Prays for Believers Everywhere
20 “I am not prayingt only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believet in me through their testimony,t21 that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I prayt that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.22 The gloryt you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one –
23 I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one,t so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,t so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the worldt.25 Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these ment know that you sent me.
26 I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known,t so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them.”
