1 Сия глагола Иисус и возведе очи свои на небо и рече: Отче, прииде час: прослави Сына твоего, да и Сын твой прославит тя:2 якоже дал еси ему власть всякия плоти, да всяко, еже дал еси ему, даст им живот вечный:3 се же есть живот вечный, да знают тебе единаго истиннаго Бога, и егоже послал еси Иисус Христа.4 Аз прославих тя на земли, дело соверших, еже дал еси мне да сотворю:5 и ныне прослави мя ты, Отче, у тебе самого славою, юже имех у тебе прежде мир не бысть.6 Явих имя твое человеком, ихже дал еси мне от мира: твои беша, и мне их дал еси, и слово твое сохраниша:7 ныне разумеша, яко вся, елика дал еси мне, от тебе суть:8 яко глаголголы, ихже дал еси мне, дах им, и тии прияша и разумеша воистинну, яко от тебе изыдох, и вероваша, яко ты мя послал еси.9 Аз о сих молю: не о (всем) мире молю, но о тех, ихже дал еси мне, яко твои суть:10 и моя вся твоя суть, и твоя моя: и прославихся в них:11 и ктому несмь в мире, и сии в мире суть, и аз к тебе гряду. Отче святый, соблюди их во имя твое, ихже дал еси мне, да будут едино, якоже (и) мы.12 Егда бех с ними в мире, аз соблюдах их во имя твое: ихже дал еси мне, сохраних, и никтоже от них погибе, токмо сын погибельный, да сбудется писание:13 ныне же к тебе гряду, и сия глаголю в мире, да имут радость мою исполнену в себе.14 Аз дах им слово твое, и мир возненавиде их, яко не суть от мира, якоже (и) аз от мира несмь:15 не молю, да возмеши их от мира, но да соблюдеши их от неприязни:16 от мира не суть, якоже (и) аз от мира несмь:17 святи их во истину твою: слово твое истина есть.18 Якоже мене послал еси в мир, и аз послах их в мир,19 и за них аз свящу себе, да и тии будут священи во истину.20 Не о сих же молю токмо, но и о верующих словесе их ради в мя,21 да вси едино будут: якоже ты, Отче, во мне, и аз в тебе, да и тии в нас едино будут: да (и) мир веру имет, яко ты мя послал еси:22 и аз славу, юже дал еси мне, дах им: да будут едино, якоже мы едино есма:23 аз в них, и ты во мне: да будут совершени во едино, и да разумеет мир, яко ты мя послал еси и возлюбил еси их, якоже мене возлюбил еси.24 Отче, ихже дал еси мне, хощу, да идеже есмь аз, и тии будут со мною, да видят славу мою, юже дал еси мне, яко возлюбил мя еси прежде сложения мира.25 Отче праведный, и мир тебе не позна, аз же тя познах, и сии познаша, яко ты мя послал еси:26 и сказах им имя твое, и скажу, да любы, еюже мя еси возлюбил, в них будет, и аз в них.
John 17
Jesus Prays for the Father to Glorify Him
1 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upwardts to heavent and said, “Father, the timets has come. Glorify your Son, so that yourst Son may glorify you –2 just as you have given him authority over all humanity,t so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.t3 Now thist is eternal lifes – that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ,t whom you sent.4 I glorified you on earth by completingts the work you gave me to do.t
5 And now, Father, glorify me at your sidet with the glory I had with you before the world was created.ts
Jesus Prays for the Disciples
6 “I have revealedt your name to the ment you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you,t and you gave them to me, and they have obeyedt your word.7 Now they understandt that everythingt you have given me comes from you,8 because I have given them the words you have given me. Theyt acceptedt themt and reallyt understandt that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.9 I am prayingt on behalf of them. I am not prayingt on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you.t10 Everythingt I have belongs to you,t and everything you have belongs to me,t and I have been glorified by them.ts11 It am no longer in the world, butt they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safet in your namet that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.t12 When I was with them I kept them safet and watched over themt in your namet that you have given me. Not onet of them was lost except the one destined for destruction,tst so that the scripture could be fulfilled.s13 But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experiencet my joy completedt in themselves.14 I have given them your word,t and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world,t just as I do not belong to the world.t15 I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safet from the evil one.t16 They do not belong to the worldt just as I do not belong to the world.t17 Set them apartts in the truth; your word is truth.18 Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world.s
19 And I set myself apartts on their behalf,t so that they too may be truly set apart.t
Jesus Prays for Believers Everywhere
20 “I am not prayingt only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believet in me through their testimony,t21 that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I prayt that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.22 The gloryt you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one –
23 I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one,t so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,t so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the worldt.25 Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these ment know that you sent me.
26 I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known,t so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them.”
