Jesusek sinestedunen alde otoitz egin
1 Honela mintzatu ondoren, Jesusek begiak zerurantz jaso eta esan zuen: «Aita, heldu da ordua. Azal ezazu zeure Semearen aintza, Semeak zure aintza azal dezan.t 2 Gizon-emakume guztien gain aginpidea eman diozunez gero, berak betiko bizia eman diezaiela zuk berari emandakoei.t
3 Honetan azaltzen da betiko bizia: zu, egiazko Jainko bakar hori, eta zuk bidalitako Jesus Mesias ezagutzeant. t
4 «Nik zure aintza azaldu dut munduan, zuk eman zenidan egitekoa betez.t 5 Orain, Aita, emadazu aintza zeure ondoan, eman mundua mundu izan baino lehen zure ondoan nuen aintza.t 6 Eman diet zure berri mundutik bereizi eta eman zenizkidan gizon-emakumeei. Zureak ziren, zuk neuri eman zenizkidan, eta hauek onartu dute zure mezua.t 7 Badakite orain zuk eman didazun guztia zuregandik datorrela.
8 Niri eman dizkidazun irakatsiak eman dizkiet nik, eta hauek onartu egin dituzte. Eta benetan dakite zuregandik etorri naizela, baita sinetsi ere zuk bidali nauzula.t
9 «Hauen alde erregutzen dut; ez dut munduaren alde erregutzen, zuk eman dizkidazunon alde baizik, zureak direlako;
10 daukadan guztia zurea da eta zurea nirea; eta hauengan azaldu da nire aintza.t
11 «Ez naiz aurrerantzean munduan egongo; hauek, ordea, bai, munduan jarraituko dute. Ni zuregana noa. Aita santu horrek, zaindu zeure ahalmenaz zuk eman dizkidazunok, bat izan daitezen gu geu bat garen bezala.t 12 Hauekin izan naizen bitartean, neuk zaindu ditut eman dizkidazunok. Hauen ardura izan dut eta hauetako bat ere ez da galdu, galdu behar zuenat baizik; horrela, Liburu Santuek diotena bete da.t
13 Orain, ordea, zuregana noa. Hau guztia, oraindik munduan nagoela esaten dut, nire poza berengan izan dezaten, eta bete-betea izan ere.t

20 «Ez dut erregutzen hauen alde bakarrik, baita berauen predikuaren bidez niregan sinetsiko dutenen alde ere.t 21 Egizu guztiak bat izan daitezela. Aita, zu nirekin eta ni zurekin biok bat garen bezala, hauek ere bat izan daitezela gurekin. Horrela, munduak sinetsiko du zuk bidali nauzula.t 22 Zuk eman zenidan aintza bera eman diet nik, bat izan daitezen, gu biok bat garen bezala: 23 ni hauekin bat eta zu nirekin bat. Horrela, guztiz bat izango dira, eta munduak ezagutu ahal izango du zuk bidali nauzula eta ni neu maitatu nauzun bezala maitatu dituzula berauek ere.
24 Aita, zuk eman dizkidazunak ni nagoen lekuan nirekin egotea nahi dut, nire aintza, mundua sortu aurretik maite izan nauzulako eman didazun aintza, ikus dezaten.t
25 «Aita zuzen hori, munduak ez zaitu ezagutu; nik, ordea, ezagutu zaitut, eta hauek jakin dute zuk bidali nauzula.t 26 Zu nor zaren jakinarazi diet, eta aurrerantzean ere jakinaraziko, zuk didazun maitasuna hauengan izan dadin, eta ni neu ere hauengan izan nadin».t

Jesus Prays for the Father to Glorify Him
1 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upwardts to heavent and said, “Father, the timets has come. Glorify your Son, so that yourst Son may glorify you –2 just as you have given him authority over all humanity,t so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him.t3 Now thist is eternal lifes – that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ,t whom you sent.4 I glorified you on earth by completingts the work you gave me to do.t
5 And now, Father, glorify me at your sidet with the glory I had with you before the world was created.ts
Jesus Prays for the Disciples
6 “I have revealedt your name to the ment you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you,t and you gave them to me, and they have obeyedt your word.7 Now they understandt that everythingt you have given me comes from you,8 because I have given them the words you have given me. Theyt acceptedt themt and reallyt understandt that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.9 I am prayingt on behalf of them. I am not prayingt on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you.t10 Everythingt I have belongs to you,t and everything you have belongs to me,t and I have been glorified by them.ts11 It am no longer in the world, butt they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safet in your namet that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.t12 When I was with them I kept them safet and watched over themt in your namet that you have given me. Not onet of them was lost except the one destined for destruction,tst so that the scripture could be fulfilled.s13 But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experiencet my joy completedt in themselves.14 I have given them your word,t and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world,t just as I do not belong to the world.t15 I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safet from the evil one.t16 They do not belong to the worldt just as I do not belong to the world.t17 Set them apartts in the truth; your word is truth.18 Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world.s
19 And I set myself apartts on their behalf,t so that they too may be truly set apart.t
Jesus Prays for Believers Everywhere
20 “I am not prayingt only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believet in me through their testimony,t21 that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I prayt that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.22 The gloryt you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one –
23 I in them and you in me – that they may be completely one,t so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,t so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the worldt.25 Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these ment know that you sent me.
26 I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known,t so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them.”
