Jozue 19

1 Potom padl los druhý Simeonovi, pokolení synů Simeonových, po čeledech jejich, a bylo dědictví jejich u prostřed dědictví synů Juda.2 A přišlo jim v dědictví jejich Bersabé, Seba a Molada;3 Azarsual a Bala, též Esem;4 Eltolad a Betul, a Horma;5 Sicelech a Betmarchabot, a Azarsusa;6 Betlebaot a Sarohem, měst třinácte i vsi jejich;7 Ain, Remmon, též Eter a Asan, města čtyři i vsi jejich;8 I všecky vsi, kteréž byly vůkolí měst těch, až do Balatber a Rámat poledního. To jest dědictví pokolení synů Simeonových po čeledech jejich.9 Z podílu synů Judových bylo dědictví synů Simeonových; nebo díl synů Judových byl jim příliš veliký, protož u prostřed dědictví jejich vzali dědictví synové Simeonovi.

10 Potom přišel třetí los synům Zabulon po čeledech jejich, a jest meze dědictví jejich až do Sarid.11 Odkudž vstupuje meze jejich podlé moře k Merala, a přichází až do Debaset, a běží až ku potoku, kterýž jest proti Jekonam.12 Obrací se pak od Sarid nazpátek k východu slunce, ku pomezí Chazelet Tábor, a odtud táhne se k Daberet, a vstupuje do Jafie.13 Odtud přechází zase k východu, do Gethefer a do Itakasin, odkudž vychází do Remmon, a točí se k Nea.14 Točí se také táž meze od půlnoci do Anaton, a dochází až k údolí Jeftael;15 A Katet, Naalol, Simron, Idala a Betlém, měst dvanácte i vsi jejich.16 To jest dědictví synů Zabulonových po čeledech jejich, ta města i vsi jejich.

17 Izacharovi také padl los čtvrtý, totiž synům Izacharovým po čeledech jejich.18 A meze jejich: Jezreel, Kasalat a Sunem;19 Hafaraim, Sion, též Anaharat;20 Rabbot, Kesion a Abez,21 Ramet, Engannim a Enhada, i Betfeses.22 Odkudž přibíhá meze k Táboru a k Sehesima a k Betsemes, a dochází až k Jordánu, měst šestnácte i vsi jejich.23 To jest dědictví pokolení synů Izacharových po čeledech jejich, ta města i vsi jejich.

24 Padl také los pátý pokolení synů Asser po čeledech jejich.25 A byla meze jejich: Helkat a Chali, a Beten, a Achzaf;26 Elmelech, též Amaad a Mesal, a přibíhá až na Karmel k moři, a do Sichor Libnat;27 A obrací se k východu slunce do Betdagon, a dosahá k losu Zabulonovu, a do údolí Jeftael k půlnoci, a do Betemek a Nehiel, a táhne se do Kábul na levou stranu,28 A do Ebron a Rohob, a Hamon a Kána až do Sidonu velikého.29 Odtud se navrací ta meze do Ráma až k městu hrazenému Zor; tu se obrací do Chosa, a skonává se při moři podlé vyměření v Achziba.30 K tomu přísluší Afek a Rohob, měst dvamecítma i vsi jejich.31 To jest dědictví pokolení synů Asser po čeledech jejich, ta města i vsi jejich.

32 Synům Neftalímovým padl los šestý, po čeledech jejich.33 A byla meze jejich od Helef a od Elon do Sananim, a Adami, Nekeb a Jebnael, až do Lekum, a skonává se u Jordánu.34 Potom navracuje se meze na západ k Azanot Tábor, a odtud jde do Hukuka, a vpadá k Zabulonovu od poledne, a k Asserovu přibíhá od západu, a k Judovu při Jordánu na východ slunce.35 Města pak hrazená jsou: Assedim, Ser a Emat, Rechat a Ceneret;36 Adama, Ráma a Azor;37 Kedes, Edrei a Enazor;38 Jeron, Magdalel, Horem, Betanat a Betsemes, měst devatenácte i vsi jejich.39 To jest dědictví pokolení synů Neftalím po čeledech jejich, ta města s vesnicemi svými.

40 Na pokolení synů Dan po čeledech jejich padl los sedmý.41 A byla meze dědictví jejich: Zaraha a Estaol, a Hirsemes;42 Salbin, Aialon a Jetela;43 Elon, Tamna a Ekron;44 Elteke, Gebbeton a Baalat;45 Jehud, Beneberak a Getremmon;46 Mehaiarkon a Rakon s pomezím, kteréž jest naproti Joppe.47 Přišlo pak pomezí synům Dan příliš malé. Protož vstoupili synové Dan, a bojovali proti Lesen, a dobyvše ho, pobili obyvatele ostrostí meče, a vzavše je v dědictví, bydlili tam, a přezděli Lesenu Dan, vedlé jména Dan otce svého.48 To jest dědictví pokolení synů Dan po čeledech jejich, ta města i vsi jejich.

49 Když pak přestali děliti se zemí po mezech jejích, dali synové Izraelští dědictví Jozue, synu Nun, mezi sebou.50 Podlé rozkázaní Hospodinova dali jemu město, kteréhož žádal, Tamnatsára, na hoře Efraim. I vystavěl město, a přebýval v něm.51 Ta jsou dědictví, kteráž dali k vládařství Eleazar kněz a Jozue syn Nun, i přední z otců pokolení synů Izraelských, losem v Sílo před Hospodinem, u dveří stánku úmluvy, a tak dokonali rozdělování země.

Joshua 19

Simeon’s Tribal Lands

1 The second lot belonged to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t2 Their assigned land includedt Beer Sheba,s Moladah,3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,5 Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,6 Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen – a total of thirteen cities and their towns,7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan – a total of four cities and their towns,8 as well as all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the land assigned to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t

9 Simeon’s assigned land was taken from Judah’s allotted portion, for Judah’s territory was too large for them; so Simeon was assigned land within Judah.t

Zebulun’s Tribal Lands

10 The third lot belonged to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans. The border of their territoryt extended to Sarid.11 Their border went up westward to Maralah and touched Dabbesheth and the valley neart Jokneam.12 From Sarid it turned eastwardt to the territory of Kisloth Tabor, extended to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.13 From there it crossed eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin and extended to Rimmon, turning toward Neah.14 It then turned on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.15 Their territory included Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem;s in all they had twelve cities and their towns.t

16 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Issachar’s Tribal Lands

17 The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachart by its clans.18 Their assigned landt included Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,21 Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez.22 Their border touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. They had sixteen cities and their towns.

23 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Issachart by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Asher’s Tribal Lands

24 The fifth lot belonged to the tribe of Ashert by its clans.25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,26 Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal. Their border touched Carmel to the west and Shihor Libnath.27 It turned eastward toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El to the north, as well as the Valley of Emek and Neiel, and extended to Cabul on the northt28 and on to Ebron,s Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.s29 It then turned toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre,s turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea near Hebel, Aczib,30 Umah, Aphek, and Rehob. In all they hadt twenty-two cities and their towns.

31 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Ashert by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Naphtali’s Tribal Lands

32 The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans.33 Their border started at Heleph and the oak of Zaanannim, went to Adami Nekeb, Jabneel and on to Lakkum,t and ended at the Jordan River.t34 It turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, extended from there to Hukok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordans on the east.35 The fortified cities included Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,s37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,38 Yiron,s Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh. In all they hadt nineteen cities and their towns.

39 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Dan’s Tribal Lands

40 The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dant by its clans.41 Their assigned land included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,46 the waters of Jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory in front of Joppa.47 (The Danites failed to conquer their territory,t so they went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. They put the sword to it, took possession of it, and lived in it. They renamed itt Dan after their ancestor.t)

48 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Dant by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Joshua Receives Land

49 When they finished dividing the land into its regions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun some land.t

50 As the Lord had instructed, they gave him the city he requested – Timnath Serah in the Ephraimite hill country. He built up the city and lived in it.

51 These are the land assignments which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaderst made by drawing lots in Shiloh before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting.ts So they finished dividing up the land.
