1 Und das zweite Los kam herauf für Simeon, für den Stamm der Kinder Simeon, nach ihren Geschlechtern; und ihr Erbteil war mitten in dem Erbteil der Kinder Juda.2 Und es ward ihnen zum Erbteil: Beerseba und Scheba und Molada,3 und Hazar-Schual und Bala und Ezem,4 und Eltolad und Bethul und Horma,5 und Ziklag und Beth-Markaboth und Hazar-Susa,6 und Beth-Lebaoth und Scharuchen: dreizehn Städte und ihre Dörfer;7 Ain, Rimmon und Ether und Aschan: vier Städte und ihre Dörfer;8 und alle Dörfer, die rings um diese Städte liegen, bis Baalath-Beer, das ist Süd-Ramath. Das war das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Simeon, nach ihren Geschlechtern.9 Von der Meßschnur der Kinder Juda war das Erbteil der Kinder Simeon; denn das Teil der Kinder Juda war zu groß für sie, und so erhielten die Kinder Simeon ihr Erbteil mitten in ihrem Erbteil.10 Und das dritte Los kam herauf für die Kinder Sebulon, nach ihren Geschlechtern. Und die Grenze ihres Erbteils war bis Sarid;11 und ihre Grenze stieg hinauf westwärts, und zwar nach Marhala, und stieß an Dabbescheth und stieß an den Bach, der vor Jokneam fließt;12 und sie kehrte um von Sarid, ostwärts, gegen Sonnenaufgang, nach der Grenze von Kisloth-Tabor, und lief nach Daberath hin und stieg hinauf nach Japhija;13 und von dort ging sie hinüber ostwärts gegen Sonnenaufgang, nach Gath-Hepher, nach Eth-Kazin, und lief aus bei Rimmon, das sich nach Nea hin erstreckt.14 Und die Grenze wandte sich um dasselbe nördlich nach Hannathon, und ihr Ausgang war das Tal Jiphtach-El;15 ...und Kattath und Nahalal und Schimron und Jidala und Bethlehem: zwölf Städte und ihre Dörfer.16 Das war das Erbteil der Kinder Sebulon, nach ihren Geschlechtern, diese Städte und ihre Dörfer.17 Für Issaschar kam das vierte Los heraus, für die Kinder Issaschar, nach ihren Geschlechtern.18 Und ihr Gebiet war nach Jisreel hin, und Kesulloth und Schunem,19 und Hapharaim und Schion und Anacharath,20 und Rabbith und Kischjon und Ebez,21 und Remeth und En-Gannim und En-Hadda und Beth-Pazez;22 und die Grenze stieß an Tabor und Schachazuma und Beth-Semes, und der Ausgang ihrer Grenze war am Jordan: sechzehn Städte und ihre Dörfer.23 Das war das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Issaschar, nach ihren Geschlechtern, die Städte und ihre Dörfer.24 Und das fünfte Los kam heraus für den Stamm der Kinder Aser, nach ihren Geschlechtern.25 Und ihre Grenze war: Helkath und Hali und Beten und Akschaph,26 und Allammelek und Amhad und Mischeal; und sie stieß an den Karmel, gegen Westen, und an den Sihor-Libnath;27 und sie kehrte um gegen Sonnenaufgang nach Beth-Dagon und stieß an Sebulon und an das Tal Jiphtach-El, nördlich von Beth-Emek und Nehiel, und sie lief nach Kabul hin zur Linken,28 und Ebron und Rechob und Hammon und Kana, bis Zidon, der großen Stadt;29 und die Grenze kehrte um nach Rama und bis zur festen Stadt Tyrus; und die Grenze kehrte um nach Hosa, und ihr Ausgang war nach dem Meere hin von dem Striche Aksib an;30 ...und Umma und Aphek und Rechob: zweiundzwanzig Städte und ihre Dörfer.31 Das war das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Aser, nach ihren Geschlechtern, diese Städte und ihre Dörfer.32 Für die Kinder Naphtali kam das sechste Los heraus, für die Kinder Naphtali, nach ihren Geschlechtern.33 Und ihre Grenze war von Heleph, von der Terebinthe zu Zaanannim, und Adami-Nekeb und Jabneel bis Lakum, und ihr Ausgang war am Jordan;34 und die Grenze kehrte um westwärts nach Asnoth-Tabor und lief von dort nach Hukkok hin. Und so stieß sie an Sebulon gegen Süden, und an Aser stieß sie gegen Westen, und an Juda am Jordan gegen Sonnenaufgang.35 Und die festen Städte waren: Ziddim, Zer und Hammath, Rakkath und Kinnereth,36 und Adama und Rama und Hazor,37 und Kedes und Edrei und En-Hazor,38 und Jiron und Migdal-El, Horem und Beth-Anath und Beth-Semes: neunzehn Städte und ihre Dörfer.39 Das war das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Naphtali, nach ihren Geschlechtern, die Städte und ihre Dörfer.40 Für den Stamm der Kinder Dan, nach ihren Geschlechtern, kam das siebte Los heraus.41 Und das Gebiet ihres Erbteils war: Zorha und Eschtaol und Ir-Semes,42 und Schaalabbin und Ajjalon und Jithla,43 und Elon und Timnatha und Ekron,44 und Elteke und Gibbethon und Baalath,45 und Jehud und Bne-Berak und Gath-Rimmon,46 und Me-Jarkon und Rakkon, mit dem Gebiete gegenüber Japho.47 Und die Grenze der Kinder Dan ging später weiter als diese; denn die Kinder Dan zogen hinauf und stritten wider Leschem, und nahmen es ein und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwertes, und sie nahmen es in Besitz und wohnten darin; und sie nannten Leschem Dan, nach dem Namen ihres Vaters Dan.48 Das war das Erbteil des Stammes der Kinder Dan nach ihren Geschlechtern, diese Städte und ihre Dörfer.49 Und als sie die Verteilung des Landes nach seinen Grenzen vollendet hatten, gaben die Kinder Israel Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, ein Erbteil in ihrer Mitte.50 Nach dem Befehle Jehovas gaben sie ihm die Stadt, die er verlangte, Timnath-Serach im Gebirge Ephraim; und er baute die Stadt und wohnte darin.51 Das sind die Erbteile, welche Eleasar, der Priester, und Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Häupter der Väter der Stämme der Kinder Israel durch das Los austeilten zu Silo, vor Jehova, an dem Eingang des Zeltes der Zusammenkunft. Und so vollendeten sie die Verteilung des Landes.

Joshua 19

Simeon’s Tribal Lands

1 The second lot belonged to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t2 Their assigned land includedt Beer Sheba,s Moladah,3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,5 Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,6 Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen – a total of thirteen cities and their towns,7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan – a total of four cities and their towns,8 as well as all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the land assigned to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t

9 Simeon’s assigned land was taken from Judah’s allotted portion, for Judah’s territory was too large for them; so Simeon was assigned land within Judah.t

Zebulun’s Tribal Lands

10 The third lot belonged to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans. The border of their territoryt extended to Sarid.11 Their border went up westward to Maralah and touched Dabbesheth and the valley neart Jokneam.12 From Sarid it turned eastwardt to the territory of Kisloth Tabor, extended to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.13 From there it crossed eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin and extended to Rimmon, turning toward Neah.14 It then turned on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.15 Their territory included Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem;s in all they had twelve cities and their towns.t

16 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Issachar’s Tribal Lands

17 The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachart by its clans.18 Their assigned landt included Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,21 Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez.22 Their border touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. They had sixteen cities and their towns.

23 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Issachart by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Asher’s Tribal Lands

24 The fifth lot belonged to the tribe of Ashert by its clans.25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,26 Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal. Their border touched Carmel to the west and Shihor Libnath.27 It turned eastward toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El to the north, as well as the Valley of Emek and Neiel, and extended to Cabul on the northt28 and on to Ebron,s Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.s29 It then turned toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre,s turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea near Hebel, Aczib,30 Umah, Aphek, and Rehob. In all they hadt twenty-two cities and their towns.

31 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Ashert by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Naphtali’s Tribal Lands

32 The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans.33 Their border started at Heleph and the oak of Zaanannim, went to Adami Nekeb, Jabneel and on to Lakkum,t and ended at the Jordan River.t34 It turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, extended from there to Hukok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordans on the east.35 The fortified cities included Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,s37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,38 Yiron,s Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh. In all they hadt nineteen cities and their towns.

39 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Dan’s Tribal Lands

40 The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dant by its clans.41 Their assigned land included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,46 the waters of Jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory in front of Joppa.47 (The Danites failed to conquer their territory,t so they went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. They put the sword to it, took possession of it, and lived in it. They renamed itt Dan after their ancestor.t)

48 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Dant by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Joshua Receives Land

49 When they finished dividing the land into its regions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun some land.t

50 As the Lord had instructed, they gave him the city he requested – Timnath Serah in the Ephraimite hill country. He built up the city and lived in it.

51 These are the land assignments which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaderst made by drawing lots in Shiloh before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting.ts So they finished dividing up the land.
