Josué 19

Territorio de Simeón

1 La segunda suerte tocó a Simeón, a la tribu de los hijos de Simeón conforme a sus familias, y su heredad estaba en medio de la heredad de los hijos de Judá.2 Y les correspondió por heredad: Beerseba, Seba, Molada,3 Hazar Sual, Bala, Ezem,4 Eltolad, Betul, Horma,5 Siclag, Bet Marcabot, Hazar Susa,6 Bet Lebaot y Saruhén; trece ciudades con sus aldeas;7 Aín, Rimón, Eter y Asán; cuatro ciudades con sus aldeas;

8 y todas las aldeas que estaban alrededor de estas ciudades hasta Baalat Beer, Ramat del Neguev (región del sur). Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón conforme a sus familias.

9 La heredad de los hijos de Simeón se tomó de la porción de los hijos de Judá, porque la porción de los hijos de Judá era demasiado grande para ellos. Los hijos de Simeón recibieron, pues, heredad en medio de la heredad de Judá.

Territorio de Zabulón

10 La tercera suerte tocó a los hijos de Zabulón conforme a sus familias. El territorio de su heredad llegaba hasta Sarid.11 Y su límite subía hacia el occidente hasta Marala, tocaba a Dabeset y llegaba hasta el arroyo que está frente a Jocneam.

12 Luego doblaba desde Sarid al oriente hacia la salida del sol hasta el límite de Quislot Tabor, seguía hasta Daberat y subía hasta Jafía.
13 Desde allí continuaba al oriente hacia la salida del sol hasta Gat Hefer a Ita Cazín, y seguía hasta Rimón rodeando a Nea.14 Y por el lado norte el límite la rodeaba hasta Hanatón y terminaba en el Valle del Jefte El.

15 También estaban incluidas Catat, Naalal, Simrón, Idala y Belén (Casa del Pan); doce ciudades con sus aldeas.

16 Esta fue la heredad de los hijos de Zabulón conforme a sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

Territorio de Isacar

17 La cuarta suerte tocó a Isacar, a los hijos de Isacar conforme a sus familias.18 Su territorio llegaba hasta Jezreel e incluía Quesulot, Sunem,19 Hafaraim, Sihón, Anaharat,20 Rabit, Quisión, Abez,

21 Remet, En Ganim, En Hada y Bet Pases.

22 Y el límite llegaba hasta Tabor, Sahazima y Bet Semes y terminaba en el Jordán; dieciséis ciudades con sus aldeas.

23 Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar conforme a sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

Territorio de Aser

24 La quinta suerte tocó a la tribu de los hijos de Aser conforme a sus familias.25 Su territorio fue: Helcat, Halí, Betén, Acsaf,

26 Alamelec, Amad y Miseal. Su límite al occidente llegaba hasta el Monte Carmelo y hasta Sihor Libnat.
27 Y doblaba hacia el oriente hasta Bet Dagón, y llegaba hasta Zabulón y hacia el norte al Valle del Jefte El hasta Bet Emec y Neiel. Entonces continuaba hacia el norte hasta Cabul,

28 Hebrón, Rehob, Hamón y Caná, hasta la gran Sidón.
29 Después el límite doblaba hacia Ramá y la ciudad fortificada de Tiro; entonces el límite doblaba hacia Hosa y terminaba en el mar por la región de Aczib.

30 También estaban incluidas Uma, Afec y Rehob; veintidós ciudades con sus aldeas.

31 Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Aser conforme a sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

Territorio de Neftalí

32 La sexta suerte tocó a los hijos de Neftalí; a los hijos de Neftalí conforme a sus familias.

33 Y su límite era desde Helef, desde la encina de Saananim, Adami Neceb y Jabneel hasta Lacum; y terminaba en el Jordán.
34 Entonces el límite doblaba al occidente hacia Aznot Tabor, y de allí seguía a Hucoc; alcanzaba a Zabulón en el sur, tocaba a Aser en el occidente y a Judá en el Jordán hacia el oriente.35 Y las ciudades fortificadas eran Sidim, Zer, Hamat, Racat, Cineret,36 Adama, Ramá, Hazor,37 Cedes, Edrei, En Hazor,

38 Irón, Migdal El, Horem, Bet Anat y Bet Semes; diecinueve ciudades con sus aldeas.

39 Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí conforme a sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

Territorio de Dan

40 La séptima suerte tocó a la tribu de los hijos de Dan conforme a sus familias.41 Y el territorio de su herencia fue: Zora, Estaol, Irsemes,42 Saalabín, Ajalón, Jetla,43 Elón, Timnat, Ecrón,44 Elteque, Gibetón, Baalat,45 Jehúd, Bene Berac, Gat Rimón,

46 Mejarcón y Racón, con el territorio junto a Jope.
47 Pero el territorio de los hijos de Dan continuaba más allá de éstas. Porque los hijos de Dan subieron y lucharon contra Lesem y la capturaron. La hirieron a filo de espada, la poseyeron y se establecieron (habitaron) en ella; y a Lesem la llamaron Dan, según el nombre de Dan su padre.

48 Esta fue la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Dan conforme a sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.
49 Cuando terminaron de repartir la tierra en heredad según sus límites, los Israelitas dieron heredad en medio de ellos a Josué, hijo de Nun.

50 De acuerdo con el mandato del Señor le dieron la ciudad que él pidió, Timnat Sera, en la región montañosa de Efraín. Y él reconstruyó la ciudad y se estableció (habitó) en ella.
51 Estas fueron las heredades que el sacerdote Eleazar, Josué, hijo de Nun, y los jefes de las casas de las tribus de los Israelitas repartieron por suertes en Silo, en presencia del Señor, a la entrada de la tienda de reunión. Así terminaron de repartir la tierra.

Joshua 19

Simeon’s Tribal Lands

1 The second lot belonged to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t2 Their assigned land includedt Beer Sheba,s Moladah,3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,5 Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,6 Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen – a total of thirteen cities and their towns,7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan – a total of four cities and their towns,8 as well as all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the land assigned to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t

9 Simeon’s assigned land was taken from Judah’s allotted portion, for Judah’s territory was too large for them; so Simeon was assigned land within Judah.t

Zebulun’s Tribal Lands

10 The third lot belonged to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans. The border of their territoryt extended to Sarid.11 Their border went up westward to Maralah and touched Dabbesheth and the valley neart Jokneam.12 From Sarid it turned eastwardt to the territory of Kisloth Tabor, extended to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.13 From there it crossed eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin and extended to Rimmon, turning toward Neah.14 It then turned on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.15 Their territory included Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem;s in all they had twelve cities and their towns.t

16 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Issachar’s Tribal Lands

17 The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachart by its clans.18 Their assigned landt included Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,21 Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez.22 Their border touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. They had sixteen cities and their towns.

23 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Issachart by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Asher’s Tribal Lands

24 The fifth lot belonged to the tribe of Ashert by its clans.25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,26 Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal. Their border touched Carmel to the west and Shihor Libnath.27 It turned eastward toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El to the north, as well as the Valley of Emek and Neiel, and extended to Cabul on the northt28 and on to Ebron,s Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.s29 It then turned toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre,s turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea near Hebel, Aczib,30 Umah, Aphek, and Rehob. In all they hadt twenty-two cities and their towns.

31 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Ashert by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Naphtali’s Tribal Lands

32 The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans.33 Their border started at Heleph and the oak of Zaanannim, went to Adami Nekeb, Jabneel and on to Lakkum,t and ended at the Jordan River.t34 It turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, extended from there to Hukok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordans on the east.35 The fortified cities included Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,s37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,38 Yiron,s Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh. In all they hadt nineteen cities and their towns.

39 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Dan’s Tribal Lands

40 The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dant by its clans.41 Their assigned land included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,46 the waters of Jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory in front of Joppa.47 (The Danites failed to conquer their territory,t so they went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. They put the sword to it, took possession of it, and lived in it. They renamed itt Dan after their ancestor.t)

48 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Dant by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Joshua Receives Land

49 When they finished dividing the land into its regions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun some land.t

50 As the Lord had instructed, they gave him the city he requested – Timnath Serah in the Ephraimite hill country. He built up the city and lived in it.

51 These are the land assignments which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaderst made by drawing lots in Shiloh before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting.ts So they finished dividing up the land.
