Josué 19

1 LA SEGUNDA suerte salió por Simeón, por la tribu de los hijos de Simeón conforme á sus familias; y su heredad fué entre la heredad de los hijos de Judá.2 Y tuvieron en su heredad á Beer-seba, Seba, y Molada,3 Hasar-sual, Bala, y Esem,4 Heltolad, Betul, y Horma,5 Siclag, Beth-marchâboth, y Hasar-susa,6 Beth-lebaoth, y Saruhén; trece ciudades con sus aldeas:7 Aín, Rimmón, Eter, y Asán; cuatro ciudades con sus aldeas:8 Y todas las aldeas que estaban alrededor de estas ciudades hasta Baalath-beer, que es Ramat del mediodía. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, según sus familias.9 De la suerte de los hijos de Judá fué sacada la heredad de los hijos de Simeón; por cuanto la parte de los hijos de Judá era excesiva para ellos: así que los hijos de Simeón tuvieron su heredad en medio de la de ellos.

10 La tercera suerte salió por los hijos de Zabulón conforme á sus familias: y el término de su heredad fué hasta Sarid.

11 Y su término sube hasta la mar y hasta Merala, y llega hasta Dabbe-seth, y de allí llega al arroyo que está delante de Jocneam.

12 Y tornando de Sarid hacia oriente, donde nace el sol al término de Chisiloth-tabor, sale á Dabrath, y sube á Japhia;

13 Y pasando de allí hacia el lado oriental á Gith-hepher y á Itta-kazin, sale á Rimmón rodeando á Nea;

14 Y de aquí torna este término al norte á Hanatón, viniendo á salir al valle de Iphtael;

15 Y abraza Catah, y Naalal, y Simrón, é Ideala, y Beth-lehem; doce ciudades con sus aldeas.

16 Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Zabulón por sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

17 La cuarta suerte salió por Issachâr, por los hijos de Issachâr conforme á sus familias.

18 Y fué su término Izreel, y Chesullot, y Sunem,

19 Y Hapharaim, y Sión, y Anaarath,

20 Y Rabbit, y Chisión, y Ebes,

21 Y Rameth, y En-gannim, y En-hadda y Beth-passes;

22 Y llega este término hasta Tabor, y Sahasim, y Beth-semes; y sale su término al Jordán: diez y seis ciudades con sus aldeas.

23 Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Issachâr conforme á sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

24 Y salió la quinta suerte por la tribu de los hijos de Aser por sus familias.

25 Y su término fué Helchât, y Halí, y Betén, y Axaph,

26 Y Alammelec, y Amead, y Miseal; y llega hasta Carmel al occidente, y á Sihor-libnath;

27 Y tornando de donde nace el sol á Beth-dagón, llega á Zabulón, y al valle de Iphtael al norte, á Beth-emec, y á Nehiel, y sale á Cabul á la izquierda;

28 Y abraza á Hebrón, y Rehob, y Hammón, y Cana, hasta la gran Sidón;

29 Y torna de allí este término á Horma, y hasta la fuerte ciudad de Tiro, y torna este término á Hosa, y sale á la mar desde el territorio de Achzib:

30 Abraza también Umma, y Aphec, y Rehob: veinte y dos ciudades con sus aldeas.

31 Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Aser por sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

32 La sexta suerte salió por los hijos de Nephtalí, por los hijos de Nephtalí conforme á sus familias.

33 Y fué su término desde Heleph, y Allón-saananim, y Adami-neceb, y Jabneel, hasta Lacum; y sale al Jordán;

34 Y tornando de allí este término hacia el occidente á Aznot-tabor, pasa de allí á Hucuca, y llega hasta Zabulón al mediodía, y al occidente confina con Aser, y con Judá al Jordán hacia donde nace el sol.

35 Y las ciudades fuertes son Siddim, Ser, y Hamath, Raccath, y Cinneroth,

36 Y Adama, y Rama, y Asor,

37 Y Cedes, y Edrei, y En-hasor,

38 E Irón, y Migdalel, y Horem, y Beth-anath, y Beth-semes: diez y nueve ciudades con sus aldeas.

39 Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Nephtalí por sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

40 La séptima suerte salió por la tribu de los hijos de Dan por sus familias.

41 Y fué el término de su heredad, Sora, y Estaol, é Ir-semes,

42 Y Saalabín, y Ailón, y Jeth-la,

43 Y Elón, y Timnatha, y Ecrón,

44 Y Eltechê, Gibbethón, y Baalath,

45 Y Jehud, y Bene-berác, y Gath-rimmón,

46 Y Mejarcón, y Raccón, con el término que está delante de Joppa.

47 Y faltóles término á los hijos de Dan; y subieron los hijos de Dan y combatieron á Lesem, y tomándola metiéronla á filo de espada, y la poseyeron, y habitaron en ella; y llamaron á Lesem, Dan, del nombre de Dan su padre.

48 Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Dan conforme á sus familias; estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

49 Y después que acabaron de repartir la tierra en heredad por sus términos, dieron los hijos de Israel heredad á Josué hijo de Nun en medio de ellos:

50 Según la palabra de Jehová, le dieron la ciudad que él pidió, Timnath-sera, en el monte de Ephraim; y él reedificó la ciudad, y habitó en ella.

51 Estas son las heredades que Eleazar sacerdote, y Josué hijo de Nun, y los principales de los padres, entregaron por suerte en posesión á las tribus de los hijos de Israel en Silo delante de Jehová, á la entrada del tabernáculo del testimonio; y acabaron de repartir la tierra.

Joshua 19

Simeon’s Tribal Lands

1 The second lot belonged to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t2 Their assigned land includedt Beer Sheba,s Moladah,3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,5 Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,6 Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen – a total of thirteen cities and their towns,7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan – a total of four cities and their towns,8 as well as all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the land assigned to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.t

9 Simeon’s assigned land was taken from Judah’s allotted portion, for Judah’s territory was too large for them; so Simeon was assigned land within Judah.t

Zebulun’s Tribal Lands

10 The third lot belonged to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans. The border of their territoryt extended to Sarid.11 Their border went up westward to Maralah and touched Dabbesheth and the valley neart Jokneam.12 From Sarid it turned eastwardt to the territory of Kisloth Tabor, extended to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.13 From there it crossed eastward to Gath Hepher and Eth Kazin and extended to Rimmon, turning toward Neah.14 It then turned on the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.15 Their territory included Kattah, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem;s in all they had twelve cities and their towns.t

16 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Zebulunt by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Issachar’s Tribal Lands

17 The fourth lot belonged to the tribe of Issachart by its clans.18 Their assigned landt included Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,21 Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez.22 Their border touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. They had sixteen cities and their towns.

23 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Issachart by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Asher’s Tribal Lands

24 The fifth lot belonged to the tribe of Ashert by its clans.25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,26 Alammelech, Amad, and Mishal. Their border touched Carmel to the west and Shihor Libnath.27 It turned eastward toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El to the north, as well as the Valley of Emek and Neiel, and extended to Cabul on the northt28 and on to Ebron,s Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.s29 It then turned toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre,s turned to Hosah, and ended at the sea near Hebel, Aczib,30 Umah, Aphek, and Rehob. In all they hadt twenty-two cities and their towns.

31 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Ashert by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Naphtali’s Tribal Lands

32 The sixth lot belonged to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans.33 Their border started at Heleph and the oak of Zaanannim, went to Adami Nekeb, Jabneel and on to Lakkum,t and ended at the Jordan River.t34 It turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, extended from there to Hukok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordans on the east.35 The fortified cities included Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,s37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,38 Yiron,s Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh. In all they hadt nineteen cities and their towns.

39 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Naphtalit by its clans, including the cities and their towns.

Dan’s Tribal Lands

40 The seventh lot belonged to the tribe of Dant by its clans.41 Their assigned land included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,46 the waters of Jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory in front of Joppa.47 (The Danites failed to conquer their territory,t so they went up and fought with Leshem and captured it. They put the sword to it, took possession of it, and lived in it. They renamed itt Dan after their ancestor.t)

48 This was the land assigned to the tribe of Dant by its clans, including these cities and their towns.

Joshua Receives Land

49 When they finished dividing the land into its regions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun some land.t

50 As the Lord had instructed, they gave him the city he requested – Timnath Serah in the Ephraimite hill country. He built up the city and lived in it.

51 These are the land assignments which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaderst made by drawing lots in Shiloh before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting.ts So they finished dividing up the land.
