1 По сих же яви Господь и инех седмьдесят, и посла их по двема пред лицем своим во всяк град и место, аможе хотяше сам ити:2 глаголаше же к ним: жатва убо многа, делателей же мало: молитеся убо Господину жатве, да изведет делатели на жатву свою.3 Идите: се аз посылаю вы яко агнцы посреде волков.4 Не носите влагалища, ни пиры, ни сапог: и ни когоже на пути целуйте.5 В оньже аще дом внидете, первее глаголите: мир дому сему:6 и аще убо будет ту сын мира, почиет на нем мир ваш: аще ли же ни, к вам возвратится:7 в том же дому пребывайте, ядуще и пиюще, яже суть у них: достоин бо есть делатель мзды своея. Не преходите из дому в дом.8 И в оньже аще град входите, и приемлют вы, ядите предлагаемая вам:9 и изцелите недужныя, иже суть в нем, и глаголите им: приближися на вы Царствие Божие.10 И в оньже аще град входите, и не приемлют вас, изшедше на распутия его, рцыте:11 и прах, прилепший нам от града вашего, оттрясаем вам. Обаче сие ведите, яко приближися на вы Царствие Божие:12 глаголю вам, яко содомляном в день той отраднее будет, неже граду тому.13 Горе тебе, хоразине, горе тебе, вифсаидо: яко аще в тире и сидоне быша силы были бывшыя в ваю, древле убо во вретищи и пепеле седяще покаялися быша:14 обаче тиру и сидону отраднее будет на суде, неже вама.15 И ты, капернауме, иже до небес вознесыйся, до ада низведешися.16 Слушаяй вас, мене слушает: и отметаяйся вас, мене отметается: отметаяйся же мене, отметается пославшаго мя.17 Возвратишася же седмьдесят с радостию, глаголюще: Господи, и беси повинуются нам о имени твоем.18 Рече же им: видех сатану яко молнию с небесе спадша.19 Се, даю вам власть наступати на змию и на скорпию и на всю силу вражию: и ничесоже вас вредит:20 обаче о сем не радуйтеся, яко дуси вам повинуются: радуйтеся же, яко имена ваша написана суть на небесех.21 В той час возрадовася Духом Иисус и рече: исповедаютися, Отче, Господи небесе и земли, яко утаил еси сия от премудрых и разумных, и открыл еси та младенцем: ей, Отче, яко тако бысть благоволение пред тобою.22 И обращься ко учеником, рече: вся мне предана быша от Отца моего: и никтоже весть, кто есть Сын, токмо Отец: и кто есть Отец, токмо Сын, и емуже аще хощет Сын открыти.23 И обращься ко учеником, един рече: блажени очи видящии, яже видите:24 глаголю бо вам, яко мнози пророцы и царие восхотеша видети, яже вы видите, и не видеша: и слышати, яже слышите, и не слышаша.25 И се, законник некий воста, искушая его и глаголя: учителю, что сотворив, живот вечный наследую?26 Он же рече к нему: в законе что писано есть? како чтеши?27 Он же отвещав рече: возлюбиши Господа Бога твоего от всего сердца твоего, и от всея души твоея, и всею крепостию твоею, и всем помышлением твоим: и ближняго своего яко сам себе.28 Рече же ему: право отвещал еси: сие сотвори, и жив будеши.29 Он же хотя оправдитися сам, рече ко Иисусу: и кто есть ближний мой?30 Отвещав же Иисус рече: человек некий схождаше от Иерусалима во иерихон, и в разбойники впаде, иже совлекше его, и язвы возложше отидоша, оставльше едва жива суща.31 По случаю же священник некий схождаше путем тем, и видев его, мимоиде.32 Такожде же и левит, быв на том месте, пришед и видев, мимоиде.33 Самарянин же некто грядый, прииде над него, и видев его, милосердова:34 и приступль обвяза струпы его, возливая масло и вино: всадив же его на свой скот, приведе его в гостинницу и прилежа ему:35 и наутрия изшед, иземь два сребреника, даде гостиннику и рече ему: прилежи ему: и еже аще прииждивеши, аз егда возвращуся, воздам ти.36 Кто убо от тех триех ближний мниттися быти впадшему в разбойники?37 Он же рече: сотворивый милость с ним. Рече же ему Иисус: иди, и ты твори такожде.38 Бысть же ходящым им, и сам вниде в весь некую: жена же некая именем марфа прият его в дом свой:39 и сестра ей бе нарицаемая мариа, яже и седши при ногу Иисусову, слышаше слово его.40 Марфа же молвяше о мнозе службе, ставши же рече: Господи, не брежеши ли, яко сестра моя едину мя остави служити? рцы убо ей, да ми поможет.41 Отвещав же Иисус рече ей: марфо, марфо, печешися и молвиши о мнозе,42 едино же есть на потребу. Мариа же благую часть избра, яже не отимется от нея.

Luke 10

The Mission of the Seventy-Two

1 After thist the Lord appointed seventy-twos others and sent them on ahead of him two by two into every townt and place where he himself was about to go.2 Het said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvests to send outt workers into his harvest.3 Go! It am sending you out like lambss surrounded by wolves.s4 Do not carrys a money bag,t a traveler’s bag,t or sandals, and greet no one on the road.t5 Whenevert you enter a house,t first say, ‘May peaces be on this house!’6 And if a peace-loving persont is there, your peace will remain on him, but if not, it will return to you.s7 Stayt in that same house, eating and drinking what they give you,t for the worker deserves his pay.s Do not move around from house to house.8 Whenevert you enter a townt and the peoplet welcome you, eat what is set before you.9 Healts the sick in that townt and say to them, ‘The kingdom of Gods has come upont you!’10 But whenevert you enter a townt and the peoplet do not welcomes you, go into its streetst and say,11 ‘Even the dust of your townt that clings to our feet we wipe offs against you.t Nevertheless know this: The kingdom of God has come.’t

12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodoms than for that town!t
13 “Woe to you, Chorazin!s Woe to you, Bethsaida! For ift the miraclest done in you had been done in Tyres and Sidon,ss they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you!

15 And you, Capernaum,ss will you be exalted to heaven?t No, you will be thrown down to Hades!s

16 “The one who listenst to you listens to me,s and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejectst the one who sent me.”s
17 Thent the seventy-twoss returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit tot us in your name!”t18 Sot he said to them, “I sawt Satan fallt like lightningt from heaven.19 Look, I have given you authority to treadt on snakes and scorpionss and on the full force of the enemy,ts and nothing willt hurt you.

20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice thatt the spirits submit to you, but rejoicet that your names stand writtent in heaven.”
21 On that same occasiont Jesust rejoiceds in the Holy Spirit and said, “I praiset you, Father, Lords of heaven and earth, becauset you have hidden these things from the wises and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your gracious will.t

22 All things have been given to me by my Father.s No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decidest to reveal him.”
23 Thent Jesust turnedt to hist disciples and said privately, “Blesseds are the eyes that see what you see!

24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings longed to sees what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 Nowt an expert in religious lawt stood up to test Jesus,t saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”s26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you understand it?”t27 The expertt answered, “Lovetthe Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,s and love your neighbor as yourself.”t

28 Jesust said to him, “You have answered correctly;s do this, and you will live.”
29 But the expert,t wanting to justifyts himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”30 Jesus replied,t “A man was going downs from Jerusalems to Jericho,s and fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, beatt him up, and went off, leaving him half dead.s31 Now by chances a priest was going down that road, butt when he saw the injured mant he passed bys on the other side.s32 So too a Levite, when he came up tot the place and saw him,t passed by on the other side.33 Butt a Samaritant who was travelingt came to where the injured mant was, and when he saw him, he felt compassion for him.ts34 Het went up to himt and bandaged his wounds, pouring oils and wine on them. Thent he put him ont his own animal,s brought him to an inn, and took care of him.35 Thet next day he took out two silver coinsts and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever else you spend, I will repay you when I come back this way.’t36 Which of these three do you think became a neighbors to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?”

37 The expert in religious lawt said, “The one who showed mercys to him.” Sot Jesus said to him, “Go and dot the same.”

Jesus and Martha

38 Now as they went on their way, Jesust entered a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him as a guest.st39 Shet had a sister named Mary, who satt at the Lord’s feets and listened to what he said.40 But Martha was distracteds with all the preparations she had to make,t sot she came up to him and said, “Lord, don’t you caret that my sister has left me to do all the workt alone? Tellt her to help me.”41 But the Lords answered her,t “Martha, Martha,s you are worried and troubledt about many things,

42 but one things is needed. Mary has chosen the bestt part; it will not be taken away from her.”
