一○

1 　さてイエスは、ほかに七十人の弟子を選び、これから訪問する予定の町や村に、二人一組で、先に派遣なさいました。
2 　その時、次のような注意をお与えになりました。
「収穫はたくさんあるのに、働く人があまりにも少ないのです。ですから、収穫の責任者である主に、もっと大ぜいの働き手を送ってくださるように願いなさい。　3 さあ、出かけなさい。　だがこれだけは忘れないように。　あなたがたを派遣するのは、まるで羊を狼の群れの中に送るようなものです。　4 お金も旅行袋も、はき替えのくつも持たないで行きなさい。　途中、道草を食ってはいけません。
5 　どんな家に入っても、神の祝福があるようにと祈りなさい。　6 その家に祝福を受ける値打があれば、祝福はとどまるし、そうでなければ、あなたがたのところに返って来ます。
7 　一つの村に入ったら、あっちこっちと家々を渡り歩いてはいけません。　同じ家に泊まり、とやかく言わずに、出される物をごちそうになりなさい。　ていねいなもてなしを遠慮することはありません。　働く者が報酬を受けるのは当然です。
8-9 喜んで迎えてくれる町では、次のことを守りなさい。　出された物は何でも食べることと、病人を治し、『神の国が、すぐそこまで来ている』と宣言すること、この二つです。
10 　しかし、歓迎してくれないような町では、大通りに出て、こう言いなさい。
11 　『あなたがたは必ず滅びます！　これがそのしるしです。　この町のちりは、足から払い落として行きます。　ただ、神の国がすぐそこまで来ていることは知っておきなさい。』
12 　よく言っておきましょう。　さばきの日には、あの邪悪な町ソドムのほうが、その町よりよっぽどましなのです。　13 ああコラジンよ。ああベツサイダよ。　どんな恐ろしいことが待ち受けていることか。　わたしがあなたがたにしたような奇蹟を、ツロとシドンでしたら、そこの人々はとうの昔に荒布をまとい、頭に灰をかぶって嘆き悲しみ、罪を悔い改めたことでしょう。　14 そうです。　さばきの日には、ツロとシドンのほうが、あなたがたより罰が軽いのです。　15 ああカペナウムの住民よ。　あなたがたはどうでしょう。　天に上げられるとうぬぼれている者たちよ。　思い違いもひどすぎます。　あなたがたは地獄に突き落とされるのです！」
16 　さらに続けて言われました。
「あなたがたを受け入れる人は、実は、わたしを受け入れているのです。　あなたがたを受け入れない人は、わたしを受け入れないばかりか、わたしを遣わされた神をも受け入れないのです。」
17 　その後、七十人の弟子たちは喜び勇んで旅行から帰り、イエスに報告しました。　「あなた様のお名前を使うと、悪霊どもでさえ、言うことを聞きましたっ！」
18 　「そうです。　わたしは見ました。　まるでいなずまみたいに、サタンが天から落ちるのを。　19 あなたがたには、敵のあらゆる力に打ち勝ち、蛇やさそりを踏みつぶす権威を与えてあります。　だから、あなたがたに危害を加えるものなど、一つもないのです。　20 だが、悪霊どもが言うことを聞くからといって、いい気になってはいけません。　何よりも大切なのは、あなたがたの名前が天国の市民として登録されていることなのです。」
21 　この時、イエスの心は、聖霊が与えてくださる喜びでいっぱいになられました。
「父よ。天地の主であるあなたをほめたたえます。　これらのことを頭のよい者や世渡りのうまい者たちには隠して、小さい子供のように神を信じきる者に示してくださいました。　ほんとうに、ありがとうございます。　これが、あなたのお心にかなったことでした。　22 すべてのことで、わたしはあなたの代理を務めます。　あなただけが子のほんとうの姿をご存じですし、あなたをほんとうに知っているのは、子のわたしと、あなたを紹介しようと、わたしが選んだ者たちだけなのです。」
23 　それから弟子たちのほうを向いて、そっと言われました。
「あなたがたの目はなんと幸せなことでしょうか！　この上なくすばらしいものを見ているのですから。　24 大ぜいの昔の預言者や王たちは、あなたがたの見聞きしたことを、見たい、聞きたいと、どれほど願ったかしれません。　残念ながら、その願いはかなえられなかったのです。」
親切なサマリヤ人
25 　ある日、法律の専門家がわざわざやって来て、イエスを試そうとしました。　「先生。　ちょっとお聞きしたいんですが、天国で永遠に生きるには、何をしたらよろしいでしょうか。」
26 　「モーセの法律には、どう書いてありますか。」
27 　「心を尽くし、たましいを尽くし、力を尽くし、思いを尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛しなさい、自分自身を愛するようにあなたの隣人を愛しなさい、とございますが。」
28 　「そう、そのとおりにすればいいのです。　そうすれば、永遠に生きられます。」
29 　しかし法律の専門家は、自分がある種の人々を愛していないことを正当化しようと、「ですが......、隣人とはだれのことで？」と聞き返しました。
30 　イエスは直接答える代わりに、例をあげて説明なさいました。
「エルサレムからエリコへ旅をしていたユダヤ人が、強盗に襲われました。　強盗どもは、身ぐるみはぎ取り、あり金全部を奪うと、殴ったり、蹴ったりして半殺しにし、道ばたに放り出してさっさと逃げて行きました。
31 　ちょうどそこへ、ユダヤの祭司が通りかかりました。　ふと見ると、旅人が倒れています。　でも、めんどうに巻き込まれたくなかったので、そそくさと道の反対側へ回り、何くわぬ顔で通り過ぎてしまいました。　32 しばらくすると、今度はレビ人〔神殿で奉仕する人〕が通りかかりましたが、彼も、倒れている旅人を横目でちらっとながめただけで、行ってしまいました。
33 　ところが、常日頃ユダヤ人に軽べつされていたサマリヤ人が、たまたま通りかかり、旅人を見つけました。　気の毒な有様に、心から同情したサマリヤ人は、　34 急いでそばにひざまずき、傷口に薬をぬり、包帯を巻いて応急手当をしました。　それから、自分のろばに乗せ、宿屋まで運んで、一晩中、看病してあげました。　35 翌日、宿屋の主人に六千六百円渡し、『あの人を介抱してあげてください。　足りない分は、帰りに寄ってお払いしますから』とくれぐれも頼みました。
36 　この三人のうちだれが、強盗に襲われた人の隣人になったと思いますか。」
37 　「もちろん、親切にしてやった人です。」この答えを聞くと、イエスは言われました。　「そのとおりです。　あなたも同じようにしなさい。」
38 　エルサレムへの旅の途中で、イエスはある村に立ち寄られました。その村のマルタという名の婦人が、喜んで一行を家に迎えました。　39 マルタにはマリヤという妹がおりました。　マリヤは座り込んで、イエスの話にじっと聞き入っていました。
40 　一方マルタはというと、てんてこ舞の忙しさです。　「どんなごちそうで、おもてなししようかしら。　あれがいいかしら、それとも......。」気を使うことばかりです。　とうとうイエスのところへ来て、文句を言いました。　「先生。　私が、目が回るほど忙しい思いをしているのに、まあ、どうでしょう。　妹ったら、何もしないで座ってるだけなんですから。　不公平じゃございません？　少しは手伝いをするように、おっしゃってくださいな。」
41 　しかし主は、マルタに言われました。　「マルタさん。　あまり多くのことに気を使いすぎているようですね。　42 でも、どうしても必要なことはただ一つだけです。　妹さんはそれを見つけたのです。　わたしはそれを取り上げようとは思いません。」祈りについて

Luke 10

1 Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself was about to come.2 And he said unto them, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest.3 Go your ways; behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.4 Carry no purse, no wallet, no shoes; and salute no man on the way.5 And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace be to this house.6 And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again.7 And in that same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:9 and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.10 But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets thereof and say,11 Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, we wipe off against you: nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh.12 I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment, than for you.15 And thou, Capernaum, shalt thou be exalted unto heaven? thou shalt be brought down unto Hades.16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me.17 And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name.18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven.19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.20 Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.21 In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well-pleasing in thy sight.22 All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.23 And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:24 for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and made trial of him, saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?26 And he said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor?30 Jesus made answer and said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.31 And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 And in like manner a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion,34 and came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on them oil and wine; and he set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.35 And on the morrow he took out two shillings, and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, I, when I come back again, will repay thee.36 Which of these three, thinkest thou, proved neighbor unto him that fell among the robbers?37 And he said, He that showed mercy on him. And Jesus said unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.38 Now as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord’s feet, and heard his word.40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving; and she came up to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister did leave me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.41 But the Lord answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubled about many things:42 but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
