ルカによる福音書 11

一一

1 　ある時、イエスは外で祈っておられました。　ちょうど祈り終えたところへ一人の弟子が来て、「主よ。　バプテスマのヨハネが弟子たちに教えたように、私たちにも祈りを教えてください」と願いました。
2 　そこでイエスがお教えになった祈りは、こうでした。
「天のお父様。　あなたのきよい御名が、あがめられますように。
あなたの御国がすぐに来ますように。
3 　私たちに日々必要な食物をお与えください。
4 　私たちの罪をお赦しください。
私たちも、私たちに罪を犯した者を赦します。
私たちを誘惑に会わせないでください。」
5-6 祈りについての教えはまだ続きました。　それが、このたとえ話です。
「真夜中に、どうしてもパンを三つ借りなければならなくなって、友達の家に駆けつけたとします。　戸をどんどんたたき、大声を張り上げて、『迷惑をかけてすまないけど、突然のお客でねえ。　あいにく、家には一切れのパンもないんだよ。　お願いだから貸してくれないか』と頼みます。　7 友達は何と答えるでしょう。　中から、『おいおい、かんべんしてくれよ。　いま何時だと思ってんだい。　戸じまりもしてしまったし、もうみんな寝てるんだ。　何も出してやれないよ』とどなり返すだけかもしれません。
8 　だが、これだけは言えます。　友達だからというのでは何もしてくれなくても、しつこくたたき続けるなら、その根気に負けて、必要な物をみな出してくれるでしょう。　9 祈りも同じです。　あきらめずに、求め続けなさい。　そうすれば、与えられます。　捜し続けなさい。　そうすれば、見つかります。　戸をたたきなさい。　そうすれば、開けてもらえます。　10 求める人は与えられ、捜す人は見つけ出し、戸をたたく人は開けてもらえるのです。
11 　パンをねだる子供に、石ころをあげる父親がいるでしょうか。　魚が食べたいと言うのに、毒蛇を与える親がいるでしょうか。　12 卵がほしいと言うのに、さそりをあげたりするでしょうか。　もちろん、あげるはずがありません。
13 　罪深い人間でさえ、子供には良い物をあげたいと思うのが人情です。　そうだとしたら天の父が、求める者に聖霊を下さらないということはありません。」
14 　ある時、イエスは悪霊に取りつかれて口がきけない男から、悪霊を追い出してあげました。　すると、どうでしょう。　男はぺらぺらしゃべりだしたのです。　その場に居合わせた人々はすっかり驚いてしまいました。　15 しかし中には、意地悪く中傷する人もいました。　「へん、別に驚くほどのことじゃないさ。　悪霊を追い出すことなんか朝飯前だろうよ。　なにしろやつは、悪霊の王ベルゼブル〔サタン〕の力をもらってるんだからな。」　16 またほかの人は、ほんとうにメシヤ（救い主）なら、その証拠に、何か不思議な奇蹟を天に起こしてほしいと求めました。
17 　そういう一人一人の考えを見抜いて、イエスは言われました。「内乱の絶えない国は滅びます。　争ったり、けんかばかりしている家庭も同じことです。　18 あなたがたの言うように、ベルゼブルがわたしに悪霊を追い出す力を与えて、自分自身と戦っているとしたら、どうしてサタンの国はやっていけるでしょう。　19 それにしても、あなたがたの仲間にだって、悪霊を追い出す人がいるではありませんか。わたしがベルゼブルの力で悪霊を追い出しているというのなら、彼らだってそうでしょう。　あなたがたの考えが正しいかどうか、その人たちに聞いてみたらどうです。　20 しかし、もしわたしが神の力で悪霊を追い出しているとしたら、もう神の国があなたがたのところに来ている証拠です。
21 　強く、完全武装したサタンが宮殿を守っているうちは、彼の国は安泰です。　22 しかし、もっと強く、もっと強力な武器を持った者が襲いかかったら、なんなく倒され、武器も持ち物も、一つ残らず取り上げられてしまうでしょう。
23 　わたしに味方しない者はみな敵です。　助けてくれない者は、じゃまをする者です。
24 　悪霊が人から追い出されると、別の住みかはないかと荒野をあちこちうろつき回ります。　ところが、やっぱり適当な場所が見つからないので、もとの所へすごすご戻って行きます。　25 見ると、以前の住みかはすみずみまで掃除が行き届き、きれいになっています。　26 こいつはしめたとばかり、自分より、もっとたちの悪い七つの悪霊を連れて来て、住みついてしまうというわけです。　そうなったら、その人の状態は以前よりずっとみじめになるのです。」
27 　こう話しておられると、群衆の中から、一人の婦人が感きわまって叫びました。　「あなたのお母様はなんて幸せな方でしょう！　あなたを宿したお腹、あなたの吸った乳房はなんて祝福されているんでしょう！」
28 　「そのとおりです。　でも、神のことばを聞いて、そのとおり実行する人のほうが、もっと祝福されているのです。」
29 　群衆の数はどんどんふくれ上がる一方です。　イエスは教えを宣べ伝え始められました。
「今の時代は、悪人のはびこる悪い時代です。　人々は、寄ってたかって、メシヤなら、天に何か不思議なしるしを起こしてみせろと、しつこく求めます。　けれども、わたしが見せられる証拠はたった一つ、ヨナの奇蹟だけです。　30 ヨナの経験は、ニネベの人たちの目に、神がヨナを派遣されたことの明らかな証拠と映りました。　わたしも、このヨナと同じような経験をします。　それが、わたしをこの世の人たちのところへお遣わしになったのは神だという、動かぬ証拠となるのです。
31 　さばきの日には、シェバの女王が立ち上がり、この時代の人々を名指しで断罪します。　彼女は、ソロモンから知恵のことばを聞くために、あれほど遠い国からはるばる旅して来ることを、いとわなかったからです。　けれども、そのソロモンよりはるかに偉大な者が、ここにいるのです。　〔それなのに、だれ一人見向きもしません。〕
32 　ニネベの人たちも立ち上がり、この時代の人々に刑罰を宣告します。　彼らはヨナの教えを聞いて、それまでの堕落しきった生活を悔い改めたからです。　けれども、そのヨナより、もっと偉大な者が、ここにいるのです。　〔ところが、耳を傾ける人は一人もいません。〕
33 　ランプをつけて、わざわざそれを隠す人がいますか？　ランプは部屋を明るく照らすものだから、燭台の上に置かなければ、何にもなりません。　34 目は、心の中まで明るくします。　澄みきった目は、たましいの中まで光をとおします。　肉欲に汚れた目は、光をさえぎり、あなたを暗やみに閉じ込めてしまいます。　35 ですから、光がおおい隠されないように、よく気をつけなさい。　36 内面が光に満ちあふれている人は、顔も、明るい光をあてられたように、はつらつと輝くことでしょう。」
偽善者のまちがい
37-38 話が一段落したところで、あるパリサイ人が、イエスを食事に招待しました。　イエスは誘われるまま彼の家に行き、食卓に着かれました。　ところが、その時、なぜか手をお洗いになりません。　この儀式は、ユダヤでは必ず行なう習慣でしたので、家の主人は全く意外だという顔つきで、まじまじとイエスをながめました。
39 　イエスは、おっしゃいました。　「あなたがたパリサイ人は、確かに外側はきれいに洗います。　しかし、内側はどうですか？　汚れたままで、貪欲や悪意がいっぱいではありませんか。　40 愚かな人たちです。　神は外側だけを造られたのですか。　もちろん、そんなことはありません。　神はちゃんと内側も造られたのです。　41 内面のきよさは行ないに表われます。　たとえば、どれだけ親切に、貧しい人たちを助けてあげるかによって、はっきりするのです。
42 　あなたがたパリサイ人は、実にいまわしいものです。　どんなわずかな収入でも、実にきちょうめんに十分の一をささげていながら、正義と神を愛することとは、きれいさっぱり忘れているのですから。　もちろん、十分の一献金は大いにけっこうです。　しかし、もっと大切なことをなおざりにしては意味がありません。
43 　あなたがたパリサイ人は、実にいまわしいものです。　会堂で特別席に座ったり、市場を歩いていて、みんなからていねいなあいさつを受けたりするのが、何よりの楽しみなのですから。　44 そんなあなたがたを待ちかまえているのは何でしょう。　そう、恐ろしいさばきです。　あなたがたはまるで、野原にある、人目につかない墓みたいです。　人々は、汚れたものが近くにあるとは気づかず、平気であなたがたのそばを通り過ぎるのです。」
45 　そばに立って話を聞いていた法律の専門家が、我慢がならないといったふうに、食ってかかりました。　「失礼ですが、おことばがすぎませんか。　私たちまで侮辱なさるとは。」
46 　イエスは、言われました。　「そうではありません。　あなたがたにも恐ろしいさばきが待ち受けているのです。　とうてい実行できない命令を与えて、人々を押しつぶしておきながら、自分は守ろうともしないのですから。　47 あなたがたも、いまわしいものです。　昔、預言者を殺した先祖と、全くよく似ています。　48 人殺しとちっとも変わりません。　ずうずうしくも、先祖が殺した預言者の記念碑を建て、『ご先祖様は正しかった』と認めているのですから。　だから、あなたがただって、きっと同じことをしたでしょう。
49 　あなたがたのことを、神はこう言っておられます。　『わたしは、預言者や使徒たちを派遣します。　しかしあなたがたは、彼らを殺したり、迫害したりするのです。』
50-51 今の時代に生きるあなたがたは、世界が造られてからずっと、すなわち、アベルが殺された時から、ザカリヤが神殿と祭壇との間で殺された時まで、神の預言者たちを殺し続けてきた責任を問われます。そうです。　確かにあなたがたには責任があるのです。
52 　法律の専門家たちよ、全くいまわしいものです。　人々の目から真理を隠しているのですから。　自分が真理を信じないばかりか、ほかの人たちが信じるチャンスさえ奪っているのです。」
53-54 これには、パリサイ人や法律の専門家たちも頭にきました。　この時からです。　彼らがむずかしい質問を矢のようにあびせて、何とかイエスをわなにかけ、逮捕する口実を得ようとし始めたのは。神を恐れなさい

Luke 11

1 And it came to pass, as he was praying in a certain place, that when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, even as John also taught his disciples.2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Father, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.3 Give us day by day our daily bread.4 And forgive us our sins; for we ourselves also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And bring us not into temptation.5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves;6 for a friend of mine is come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him;7 and he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee?8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needeth.9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.11 And of which of you that is a father shall his son ask a loaf, and he give him a stone? or a fish, and he for a fish give him a serpent?12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion?13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?14 And he was casting out a demon that was dumb. And it came to pass, when the demon was gone out, the dumb man spake; and the multitudes marvelled.15 But some of them said, By Beelzebub the prince of the demons casteth he out demons.16 And others, trying him, sought of him a sign from heaven.17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.18 And if Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out demons by Beelzebub.19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.20 But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.21 When the strong man fully armed guardeth his own court, his goods are in peace:22 but when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him his whole armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.23 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.24 The unclean spirit when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and finding none, he saith, I will turn back unto my house whence I came out.25 And when he is come, he findeth it swept and garnished.26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more evil than himself; and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man becometh worse than the first.27 And it came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the breasts which thou didst suck.28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.29 And when the multitudes were gathering together unto him, he began to say, This generation is an evil generation: it seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah.30 For even as Jonah became a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and shall condemn them: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here.32 The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.33 No man, when he hath lighted a lamp, putteth it in a cellar, neither under the bushel, but on the stand, that they which enter in may see the light.34 The lamp of thy body is thine eye: when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when it is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.35 Look therefore whether the light that is in thee be not darkness.36 If therefore thy whole body be full of light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining doth give thee light.37 Now as he spake, a Pharisee asketh him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first bathed himself before dinner.39 And the Lord said unto him, Now ye the Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.40 Ye foolish ones, did not he that made the outside make the inside also?41 But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, all things are clean unto you.42 But woe unto you Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and every herb, and pass over justice and the love of God: but these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.43 Woe unto you Pharisees! for ye love the chief seats in the synagogues, and the salutations in the marketplaces.44 Woe unto you! for ye are as the tombs which appear not, and the men that walk over them know it not.45 And one of the lawyers answering saith unto him, Teacher, in saying this thou reproachest us also.46 And he said, Woe unto you lawyers also! for ye load men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.47 Woe unto you! for ye build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.48 So ye are witnesses and consent unto the works of your fathers: for they killed them, and ye build their tombs.49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send unto them prophets and apostles; and some of them they shall kill and persecute;50 that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;51 from the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary: yea, I say unto you, it shall be required of this generation.52 Woe unto you lawyers! for ye took away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.53 And when he was come out from thence, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press upon him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things;54 laying wait for him, to catch something out of his mouth.
