누가복음서 11
기도를 가르쳐 주시다
(마 6:9-15; 7:7-11)
1 예수께서 어떤 곳에서 기도하고 계셨는데, 기도를 마치셨을 때에 그의 제자들 가운데 한 사람이 그에게 말하였다. “주님, 요한이 자기 제자들에게 기도하는 것을 가르쳐 준 것과 같이, 우리에게도 그것을 가르쳐 주십시오.” 2 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “너희는 기도할 때에, 이렇게 말하여라. ‘t아버지, 그 이름을 거룩하게 하여 주시고, 그 t나라를 오게 하여 주십시오.t
3 날마다 우리에게 t필요한 양식을 내려 주십시오.
4 우리의 죄를 용서하여 주십시오. 우리에게 빚진 모든 사람을 우리가 용서합니다. 우리를 시험에 t들지 않게 하여 주십시오.t’”

예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “너희 가운데 누구에게 친구가 있다고 하자. 그가 밤중에 그 친구에게 찾아가서 그에게 말하기를 ‘여보게, 내게 빵 세 개를 꾸어 주게. 6 내 친구가 여행 중에 내게 왔는데, 그에게 내놓을 것이 없어서 그러네!’ 할 때에, 7 그 사람이 안에서 대답하기를 ‘나를 괴롭히지 말게. 문은 이미 닫혔고, 아이들과 나는 잠자리에 누웠네. 내가 지금 일어나서, 자네의 청을 들어줄 수 없네’ 하겠느냐? 8 내가 너희에게 말한다. 그 사람의 친구라는 이유로는, 그가 일어나서 청을 들어주지 않을지라도, 그가 졸라대는 것 때문에는, 일어나서 필요한 만큼 줄 것이다. 9 내가 너희에게 말한다. 구하여라, 그리하면 너희에게 주실 것이다. 찾아라, 그리하면 찾을 것이다. 문을 두드려라, 그리하면 너희에게 열어 주실 것이다. 10 구하는 사람마다 받을 것이요, 찾는 사람마다 찾을 것이요, 문을 두드리는 사람에게 열어 주실 것이다. 11 너희 가운데 아버지가 된 사람으로서 아들이 생선을 달라고 하는데, 생선 대신에 뱀을 줄 사람이 어디 있으며, 12 달걀을 달라고 하는데 전갈을 줄 사람이 어디에 있겠느냐? 13 너희가 악할지라도 너희 자녀에게 좋은 것들을 줄 줄 알거든, 하물며 t하늘에 계신 아버지께서야 구하는 사람에게 성령을 주시지 않겠느냐?”
예수를 바알세불과 한 편으로 모함하다
(마 12:22-30; 막 3:20-27)

예수께서 귀신을 하나 내쫓으셨는데, [그것은] 벙어리 [귀신이었다]. 그 귀신이 나가니, 말 못하는 사람이 말을 하게 되었다. 그래서 무리가 놀랐다. 15 그들 가운데서 더러는 이렇게 말하였다. “그가 귀신들의 두목인 바알세불의 힘을 빌어서 귀신을 내쫓는다.” 16 또 다른 사람들은 예수를 시험하여 하늘에서 내리는 표징을 보여 달라고 그에게 요구하였다. 17 그러나 예수께서는 그들의 생각을 아시고서, 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “어느 나라든지 갈라져서 서로 싸우면 망하고, 또 가정도 서로 싸우면 무너진다. 18 그러니 사탄이 갈라져서 서로 싸우면, 그 나라가 어떻게 서 있겠느냐? 너희는 내가 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 내쫓는다고 하는데, 19 내가 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 내쫓는다면 너희의 t추종자들은 누구를 힘입어 귀신을 내쫓는다는 말이냐? 그러므로 그들이야말로 너희의 재판관이 될 것이다. 20 그러나 내가 t하나님의 능력을 힘입어 귀신들을 내쫓으면, 하나님 나라가 너희에게 이미 온 것이다. 21 힘센 사람이 완전히 무장하고 자기 집을 지키고 있는 동안에는, 그의 소유는 안전하다. 22 그러나 그보다 더 힘센 사람이 달려들어서 그를 이기면, 그가 의지하는 무장을 모두 해제시키고, 자기가 노략한 것을 나누어 준다. 23 나와 함께 하지 않는 사람은 나를 반대하는 사람이요, 나와 함께 모으지 않는 사람은 헤치는 사람이다.”
방비가 없으면 귀신이 되돌아온다
(마 12:43-45)
24 “t악한 귀신이 어떤 사람에게서 나온다고 하면, 그 귀신은 쉴 곳을 찾느라고 물 없는 곳을 헤맨다. 그러나 그 귀신은 찾지 못하고 말하기를 ‘내가 나온 집으로 되돌아가겠다’ 한다. 25 그런데 와서 보니, 집은 말끔히 치워져 있고, 잘 정돈되어 있었다. 26 그래서 그 귀신은 가서, 자기보다 더 악한 딴 귀신 일곱을 데리고 와서, 그 집에 들어가 자리를 잡고 산다. 그러면 그 사람의 나중 형편이 처음보다 더 비참하게 된다.”
참된 행복

예수께서 이 말씀을 하고 계실 때에, 무리 가운데서 한 여자가 목소리를 높여 그에게 말하였다. “당신을 밴 태와 당신을 먹인 젖은 참으로 복이 있습니다!” 28 그러나 예수께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “오히려, 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 지키는 사람이 복이 있다.”
이 세대가 헛되이 표징을 구하다
(마 12:38-42; 막 8:12)
29 무리가 모여들 때에, 예수께서 말씀하기 시작하셨다. “이 세대는 악한 세대다. 이 세대가 표징을 구하지만, 이 세대는 요나의 표징 밖에는 아무 표징도 받지 못할 것이다. 30 요나가 니느웨 사람들에게 표징이 된 것과 같이, 인자 곧 나도 이 세대 사람들에게 그러할 것이다. 31 심판 때에 남방 여왕이 이 세대 사람들과 함께 일어나서, 이 세대 사람들을 정죄할 것이다. 그 여왕은 솔로몬의 지혜를 들으려고, 땅 끝에서부터 찾아왔기 때문이다. 그러나 보아라, 솔로몬보다 더 큰 이가 여기에 있다. 32 심판 때에 니느웨 사람들이 이 세대 사람들과 함께 일어나서, 이 세대 사람들을 정죄할 것이다. 그들은 요나의 선포를 듣고 회개했기 때문이다. 그러나, 보아라, 요나보다 더 큰 이가 여기에 있다.”
몸의 등불
(마 5:15; 6:22-23)
33 “아무도 등불을 켜서 움 속에나 [말 아래에] 놓지 않고, 등경 위에 놓아 두어서, 들어오는 사람들이 그 빛을 보게 한다. 34 네 눈은 몸의 등불이다. 네 눈이 성하면, 네 온 몸도 밝을 것이요, 네 눈이 성하지 못하면, 네 몸도 어두울 것이다. 35 그러므로 네 속에 있는 빛이 어둡지 않은지 살펴보아라. 36 네 온 몸이 밝아서 어두운 부분이 하나도 없으면, 마치 등불이 그 빛으로 너를 환하게 비출 때와 같이, 네 몸은 온전히 밝을 것이다.”
바리새파 사람들과 율법학자들을 책망하시다
(마 23:1-36; 막 12:38-40; 눅 20:45-47)

예수께서 말씀하실 때에, 바리새파 사람 하나가 자기 집에서 잡수시기를 청하니, 예수께서 들어가서 앉으셨다. 38 그런데 그 바리새파 사람은, 예수가 잡수시기 전에 먼저 손을 씻지 않으신 것을 보고, 이상히 여겼다. 39 그러나 주님께서는 그에게 말씀하셨다. “지금 너희 바리새파 사람들은 잔과 접시의 겉은 깨끗하게 하지만, 너희 속에는 탐욕과 악독이 가득하다. 40 어리석은 사람들아, 겉을 만드신 분이 속도 만들지 아니하셨느냐? 41 그 속에 있는 것으로 자선을 베풀어라. 그리하면 모든 것이 너희에게 깨끗해질 것이다. 42 너희 바리새파 사람들에게 화가 있다! 너희는 박하와 운향과 온갖 채소의 십일조는 바치면서, 정의와 하나님께 대한 사랑은 소홀히 한다! 그런 것들도 반드시 행해야 하지만, 이런 것들도 소홀히 하지 않았어야 하였다. 43 너희 바리새파 사람들에게 화가 있다! 너희는 회당에서 높은 자리에 앉기를 좋아하고, 장터에서 인사 받기를 좋아한다! 44 너희에게 화가 있다! 너희는 드러나지 않게 만든 무덤과 같아서, 사람들이 그 위를 밟고 다니면서도, 그것이 무덤인지를 알지 못한다!”
45 율법교사 가운데 어떤 사람이 예수께 말하였다. “선생님, 선생님이 이렇게 말씀하시면, 우리까지도 모욕하시는 것입니다.” 46 예수께서 말씀하셨다. “그렇다. 너희 율법교사들에게도 화가 있다! 너희는 지기 어려운 짐을 사람들에게 지우면서, 너희 자신은 손가락 하나도 그 짐에 대려고 하지 않는다! 47 너희에게 화가 있다! 너희는 너희 조상들이 죽인 예언자들의 무덤을 세운다. 48 그렇게 함으로써 너희는 너희 조상들이 저지른 소행을 증언하며 찬동하는 것이다. 너희의 조상들은 예언자들을 죽였는데, 너희는 그들의 무덤을 세우기 때문이다. 49 그러므로 하나님의 지혜도 말하기를 ‘내가 예언자들과 사도들을 그들에게 보내겠는데, 그들은 그 가운데서 더러는 죽이고, 더러는 박해할 것이다’ 하였다. 50 창세 이래로 흘린 모든 예언자들의 피의 대가를 이 세대에게 요구할 것이다. 51 아벨의 피에서 비롯하여 제단과 성소 사이에서 죽은 사가랴의 피에 이르기까지 말이다. 그렇다. 나는 너희에게 말한다. 이 세대가 그 책임을 져야 할 것이다. 52 너희 율법교사들에게 화가 있다! 너희는 지식의 열쇠를 가로채서, 너희 자신도 들어가지 않고, 또 들어가려고 하는 사람들도 막았다!”

예수께서 그 집에서 나오실 때에, 율법학자들과 바리새파 사람들은 잔뜩 앙심을 품고서, 여러 가지 물음으로 예수를 몰아붙이기 시작하였다. 54 그들은 예수의 입에서 나오는 말에서 트집을 잡으려고 노렸다.

Prayer
(Matthew 6.9-13; 7.7-11)
1 When Jesus had finished praying, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his followers to pray.”
2 So Jesus told them, “Pray in this way:
‘Father, help us
to honor your name.
Come and set up
your kingdom.
3 Give us each day
the food we need.t
4 Forgive our sins,
as we forgive everyone
who has done wrong to us.
And keep us
from being tempted.’ ”
5 Then Jesus went on to say:
Suppose one of you goes to a friend in the middle of the night and says, “Let me borrow three loaves of bread. 6 A friend of mine has dropped in, and I don't have a thing for him to eat.”
7 And suppose your friend answers, “Don't bother me! The door is bolted, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up to give you something.”
8 He may not get up and give you the bread, just because you are his friend. But he will get up and give you as much as you need, simply because you are not ashamed to keep on asking.
9 So I tell you to ask and you will receive, search and you will find, knock and the door will be opened for you. 10 Everyone who asks will receive, everyone who searches will find, and the door will be opened for everyone who knocks. 11 Which one of you fathers would give your hungry child a snake if the child asked for a fish? 12 Which one of you would give your child a scorpion if the child asked for an egg?
13 As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks.Jesus and the Ruler //of Demons
(Matthew 12.22-30; Mark 3.20-27)
14 Jesus forced a demon out of a man who could not talk. And after the demon had gone out, the man started speaking, and the crowds were amazed.
15 t But some people said, “He forces out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons!”
16 t Others wanted to put Jesus to the test. So they asked him to show them a sign from God.
17 Jesus knew what they were thinking, and he said:
A kingdom where people fight each other will end up in ruin. And a family that fights will break up. 18 If Satan fights against himself, how can his kingdom last? Yet you say that I force out demons by the power of Beelzebul. 19 If I use his power to force out demons, whose power do your own followers use to force them out? They are the ones who will judge you.
20 But if I use God's power to force out demons, it proves that God's kingdom has already come to you.
21 When a strong man arms himself and guards his home, everything he owns is safe. 22 But if a stronger man comes and defeats him, he will carry off the weapons in which the strong man trusted. Then he will divide with others what he has taken.
23 t If you are not on my side, you are against me. If you don't gather in the crop with me, you scatter it.Return of an Evil Spirit
(Matthew 12.43-45)
24 When an evil spirit leaves a person, it travels through the desert, looking for a place to rest. But when it doesn't find a place, it says, “I will go back to the home I left.” 25 When it gets there and finds the place clean and fixed up,
26 it goes off and finds seven other evil spirits even worse than itself. They all come and make their home there, and that person ends up in worse shape than before.Being Really Blessed
27 While Jesus was still talking, a woman in the crowd spoke up, “The woman who gave birth to you and nursed you is blessed!”
28 Jesus replied, “That's true, but the people who are really blessed are the ones who hear and obey God's message!”tA Sign from God
(Matthew 12.38-42; Mark 8.12)
29 t As crowds were gathering around Jesus, he said:
You people of today are evil! You keep looking for a sign from God. But what happened to Jonaht is the only sign you will be given. 30 t Just as Jonah was a sign to the people of Nineveh, the Son of Man will be a sign to the people of today. 31 t When the judgment comes, the Queen of the Southt will stand there with you and condemn you. She traveled a long way to hear Solomon's wisdom, and yet here is something far greater than Solomon.
32 t The people of Nineveh will also stand there with you and condemn you. They turned to God when Jonah preached, and yet here is something far greater than Jonah.Light
(Matthew 5.15; 6.22,23)
33 t No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a clay pot. A lamp is put on a lampstand, so everyone who comes into the house can see the light. 34 Your eyes are the lamp for your body. When your eyes are good, you have all the light you need. But when your eyes are bad, everything is dark. 35 So be sure your light isn't darkness.
36 If you have light, and nothing is dark, then light will be everywhere, as when a lamp shines brightly on you.Jesus Condemns the Pharisees //and Teachers of the Law of Moses
(Matthew 23.1-36; Mark 12.38-40; Luke 20.45-47)
37 When Jesus finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him home for a meal. Jesus went and sat down to eat.t 38 The Pharisee was surprised that he did not wash his handst before eating.
39 So the Lord said to him:
You Pharisees clean the outside of cups and dishes, but on the inside you are greedy and evil. 40 You fools! Didn't God make both the outside and the inside?t
41 If you would only give what you have to the poor, everything you do would please God.
42 t You Pharisees are in for trouble! You give God a tenth of the spices from your gardens, such as mint and rue. But you cheat people, and you don't love God. You should be fair and kind to others and still give a tenth to God.
43 You Pharisees are in for trouble! You love the front seats in the synagogues, and you like to be greeted with honor in the market.
44 But you are in for trouble! You are like unmarked gravest that people walk on without even knowing it.
45 A teacher of the Law of Moses spoke up, “Teacher, you said cruel things about us.”
46 Jesus replied:
You teachers are also in for trouble! You load people down with heavy burdens, but you won't lift a finger to help them carry the loads. 47 Yes, you are really in for trouble. You build monuments to honor the prophets your own people murdered long ago.
48 You must think that was the right thing for your people to do, or else you would not have built monuments for the prophets they murdered.
49 Because of your evil deeds, the Wisdom of God said, “I will send prophets and apostles to you. But you will murder some and mistreat others.” 50 You people living today will be punished for all the prophets who have been murdered since the beginning of the world.
51 t This includes every prophet from the time of Abel to the time of Zechariah, t who was murdered between the altar and the temple. You people will certainly be punished for all of this.
52 You teachers of the Law of Moses are really in for trouble! You carry the keys to the door of knowledge about God. But you never go in, and you keep others from going in.
53 Jesus was about to leave, but the teachers and the Pharisees wanted to get even with him. They tried to make him say what he thought about other things, 54 so they could catch him saying something wrong.
