تعلیم دعا
(متّی 9:6-13؛ 7:7-11)
1 روزی عیسی در محلی به دعا مشغول بود. وقتی از دعا فراغت یافت یكی از شاگردان به او گفت: «خداوندا، همانطور كه یحیی به شاگردان خود یاد داده است، تو هم دعا كردن را به ما یاد بده.»
2 عیسی به ایشان فرمود: «هروقت دعا میکنید، بگویید:
'ای پدر، نام تو مقدّس باد،
پادشاهی تو بیاید.
3 نان روزانهٔ ما را هر روز به ما بده
4 و گناهان ما را به ما ببخش،
زیرا ما نیز همهٔ كسانی را كه به ما بدی کردهاند، میبخشیم
و ما را از وسوسهها دور نگهدار.'»
5 سپس به ایشان گفت: «فرض كنید كه یكی از شما دوستی داشته باشد و نیمه شب نزد آن دوست برود و بگوید: 'ای دوست، سه قرص نان به من قرض بده 6 یكی از دوستانم كه در سفر بود به خانهٔ من وارد شده است و چیزی ندارم پیش او بگذارم.' 7 و او از داخل جواب بدهد: 'مزاحم من نشو! حالا در قفل شده است و من و بچّههایم به رختخواب رفتهایم و نمیتوانم برخیزم تا چیزی به تو بدهم.' 8 بدانید كه حتّی اگر از روی دوستی برنخیزد و چیزی به او ندهد، امّا سرانجام سماجت او، او را وادار خواهد كرد كه برخیزد و هرچه را دوستش احتیاج دارد، به او بدهد. 9 پس به شما میگویم تقاضا كنید كه به شما داده خواهد شد، بجویید که پیدا خواهید کرد، بکوبید که در به روی شما باز خواهد شد. 10 چون هرکه بخواهد به دست میآورد و هرکه بجوید پیدا میکند و هرکه بكوبد در برویش باز میشود. 11 آیا در میان شما پدری هست كه وقتی پسرش از او ماهی بخواهد به عوض ماهی، ماری در دستش بگذارد. 12 یا وقتی تخم مرغ بخواهد عقربی به او بدهد؟
13 پس اگر شما با اینكه گناهکار هستید، میدانید چگونه چیزهای خوب را به فرزندانتان بدهید، چقدر بیشتر پدر آسمانی، روحالقدس را به آنانی كه از او تقاضا میکنند، عطا خواهد فرمود!»عیسی و بعلزبول
(متّی 22:12-30؛ مرقس 20:3-27)
14 عیسی یک دیو لال را از شخصی بیرون میکرد و وقتی دیو بیرون آمد مرد لال شروع به حرف زدن كرد و مردم حیرت كردند. 15 امّا بعضیها گفتند: «او به وسیلهٔ بعلزبول، رئیس شیاطین، دیوها را بیرون میراند.» 16 دیگران از راه امتحان از او تقاضای نشانهای آسمانی كردند. 17 امّا او افكار آنان را درک كرد و فرمود: «هر سلطنتی كه علیه خودش تقسیم شود رو به خرابی میگذارد و خانوادهای كه دو دستگی در آن باشد سقوط خواهد كرد. 18 همچنین اگر شیطان علیه خود تفرقه بیندازد، سلطنتش چطور برقرار خواهد ماند؟ باری شما ادّعا دارید كه من به وسیلهٔ بعلزبول دیوها را بیرون میرانم. 19 اگر من به وسیلهٔ بعلزبول دیوها را بیرون میرانم، یاران خود شما به چه وسیله آنها را بیرون میرانند؟ آنان ادّعای شما را تكذیب خواهند كرد.
20 امّا اگر با قدرت خداست كه من دیوها را بیرون میرانم، یقین بدانید كه پادشاهی خدا به شما رسیده است.
21 «وقتی مرد زورمندی كه کاملاً مسلّح است از قلعهٔ خود نگهبانی میکند، دارایی او در امان است.
22 امّا وقتی كسی زورمندتر از او به او حمله كند، او را از پای در میآورد و تیرها و زرهی را كه تكیهگاه او هستند، میبرد و داراییاش را تاراج میکند.
23 «هرکه با من نباشد، برضد من است و هرکه با من جمع نكند، پراكنده میسازد.بازگشت روح پلید
(متّی 43:12-45)
24 «وقتی روح ناپاكی از كسی بیرون میآید، در جستجوی استراحتگاهی در بیابانهای بیآب و علف سرگردان میشود و وقتی جایی را پیدا نمیکند، میگوید: 'به منزلی كه از آن بیرون آمدم باز میگردم.' 25 پس بر میگردد و آن خانه را جارو شده و منظّم و مرتّب میبیند.
26 او میرود و هفت روح بدتر از خود را جمع میکند و آنها همه وارد میشوند و مستقر میگردند و در آخر، حال و روز آن مَرد از گذشتهاش بدتر میشود.»سعادت واقعی
27 درحالیکه عیسی صحبت میکرد، زنی از میان جمعیّت با صدایی بلند گفت: «خوشا به حال آن مادری كه تو را زایید و به تو شیر داد.»
28 امّا او فرمود: «امّا خوشا به حال آن کسانیکه كلام خدا را بشنوند و آن را بجا بیاورند.»درخواست نشانهای آسمانی
(متّی 38:12-42)
29 وقتی مردم در اطراف عیسی ازدحام كردند او به صحبت خود چنین ادامه داد: «مردمان این زمانه چقدر شریرند! آنها نشانهای میخواهند، امّا تنها نشانهای كه به ایشان داده خواهد شد، نشانهٔ یونس نبی است. 30 چون همانطور كه یونس برای مردم نینوا نشانهای بود، پسر انسان نیز برای مردم این زمان نشانهٔ دیگری خواهد بود. 31 در روز داوری، ملكهٔ جنوب با مردم این روزگار زنده خواهد شد و آنان را متّهم خواهد ساخت، چون او از آن سرِ دنیا آمد تا حكمت سلیمان را بشنود، و شما بدانید آنكه در اینجاست از سلیمان بزرگتر است.
32 مردم نینوا در روز داوری با مردم این روزگار زنده خواهند شد و علیه آنان شهادت خواهند داد، چون مردم نینوا در اثر پیام یونس توبه كردند و آنكه در اینجاست از یونس بزرگتر است.»چراغ بدن
(متّی 15:5؛ 22:6-23)
33 «هیچکس چراغ را روشن نمیکند كه آن را پنهان كند یا زیر تشت بگذارد، بلكه آن را روی چراغپایه قرار میدهد تا کسانیکه وارد اتاق میشوند، نور را ببینید. 34 چراغ بدن تو، چشم توست. وقتی چشمانت سالم هستند، تمام وجود تو روشن است امّا وقتی چشمهایت معیوب باشند تو در تاریكی هستی. 35 پس چشمان خود را باز كن مبادا نوری كه داری، تاریكی باشد.
36 اگر تمام وجود تو روشن باشد و هیچ قسمت آن در تاریكی نباشد وجود تو چنان نورانی خواهد بود كه گویی چراغی نور خود را بر تو میتاباند.»نكوهش فریسیان و معلّمان شریعت
(متّی 1:23-36؛ مرقس 38:12-40)
37 وقتی عیسی به صحبت خود خاتمه داد، یكی از فریسیان، او را به صرف غذا دعوت كرد. او وارد شد و نشست. 38 فریسی با تعجّب ملاحظه كرد، كه عیسی قبل از غذا، دستهای خود را نشست. 39 امّا عیسی خداوند به او گفت: «ای فریسیان، شما بیرون پیاله و بشقاب را پاک میکنید درصورتیکه در درون خود چیزی جز حِرص و شرارت ندارید. 40 ای احمقها، آیا آن کسیکه بیرون را ساخت درون را هم نساخت؟ 41 از آنچه درون ظرفها دارید، خیرات كنید كه همهاش برای شما پاک خواهد شد.» 42 «وای به حال شما ای فریسیان، شما از نعناع و سداب و انواع ادویه دهیک میدهید، امّا از اجرای عدالت و محبّت به خدا غافل هستید. اینها چیزهایی است كه شما باید بدون غافل ماندن از چیزهای دیگر به عمل آورید.» 43 «وای به حال شما ای فریسیان! شما صدر مجلس را در کنیسهها و سلام و تعارف را در بازارها دوست دارید. 44 وای به حال شما! شما مانند قبرهایی هستید كه هیچ نشانهای روی آنها نیست و مردم ندانسته و نشناخته روی آنها راه میروند.» 45 یكی از معلّمان شریعت در جواب عیسی گفت: «ای استاد، وقتی چنین حرفهایی میزنی، به ما هم توهین میشود.» 46 عیسی در جواب فرمود: «بلی، ای معلّمان شریعت، وای به حال شما نیز، چون بارهای بسیار سنگین بردوش مردم میگذرانید و خودتان یک انگشت هم به آن بار نمیزنید. 47 وای به حال شما كه آرامگاههای انبیایی را كه نیاکان شما كشتند، میسازید 48 و به این وسیله کارهای نیاکانتان را تأیید میکنید و بر آنها صِحّه میگذراید چون آنان مرتكب آن قتلها شدند و شما اینها را بنا میکنید. 49 این است كه حكمت خدا میفرماید: 'برای ایشان انبیا و رسولان میفرستم، بعضی را میکشند و بعضی را آزار میرسانند،' 50 تا مردم این زمانه مجبور شوند جواب خون تمام انبیایی را كه از اول پیدایش دنیا ریخته شده است بدهند، 51 از خون هابیل گرفته تا خون زكریا كه بین قربانگاه و داخل جایگاه مقدّس در معبد بزرگ هلاک شد. آری، بدانید كه مردم این روزگار جواب همهٔ آنها را خواهند داد.» 52 «وای به حال شما ای معلّمان شریعت، شما كلید درِ معرفت را بر میدارید، خودتان وارد نمیشوید و آنانی را هم كه میخواهند وارد شوند، باز میدارید.» 53 وقتی عیسی از آن خانه بیرون رفت، علما و فریسیان با خشم و غضب دور او را گرفتند و او را در موضوعات بسیار سؤالپیچ نمودند 54 و در كمین بودند كه او را با سخنان خودش به دام بیندازند.
LUKE 11
Prayer
(Matthew 6.9-13; 7.7-11)
1 When Jesus had finished praying, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his followers to pray.”
2 So Jesus told them, “Pray in this way:
‘Father, help us
to honor your name.
Come and set up
your kingdom.
3 Give us each day
the food we need.t
4 Forgive our sins,
as we forgive everyone
who has done wrong to us.
And keep us
from being tempted.’ ”
5 Then Jesus went on to say:
Suppose one of you goes to a friend in the middle of the night and says, “Let me borrow three loaves of bread. 6 A friend of mine has dropped in, and I don't have a thing for him to eat.”
7 And suppose your friend answers, “Don't bother me! The door is bolted, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up to give you something.”
8 He may not get up and give you the bread, just because you are his friend. But he will get up and give you as much as you need, simply because you are not ashamed to keep on asking.
9 So I tell you to ask and you will receive, search and you will find, knock and the door will be opened for you. 10 Everyone who asks will receive, everyone who searches will find, and the door will be opened for everyone who knocks. 11 Which one of you fathers would give your hungry child a snake if the child asked for a fish? 12 Which one of you would give your child a scorpion if the child asked for an egg?
13 As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks.Jesus and the Ruler //of Demons
(Matthew 12.22-30; Mark 3.20-27)
14 Jesus forced a demon out of a man who could not talk. And after the demon had gone out, the man started speaking, and the crowds were amazed.
15 t But some people said, “He forces out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons!”
16 t Others wanted to put Jesus to the test. So they asked him to show them a sign from God.
17 Jesus knew what they were thinking, and he said:
A kingdom where people fight each other will end up in ruin. And a family that fights will break up. 18 If Satan fights against himself, how can his kingdom last? Yet you say that I force out demons by the power of Beelzebul. 19 If I use his power to force out demons, whose power do your own followers use to force them out? They are the ones who will judge you.
20 But if I use God's power to force out demons, it proves that God's kingdom has already come to you.
21 When a strong man arms himself and guards his home, everything he owns is safe. 22 But if a stronger man comes and defeats him, he will carry off the weapons in which the strong man trusted. Then he will divide with others what he has taken.
23 t If you are not on my side, you are against me. If you don't gather in the crop with me, you scatter it.Return of an Evil Spirit
(Matthew 12.43-45)
24 When an evil spirit leaves a person, it travels through the desert, looking for a place to rest. But when it doesn't find a place, it says, “I will go back to the home I left.” 25 When it gets there and finds the place clean and fixed up,
26 it goes off and finds seven other evil spirits even worse than itself. They all come and make their home there, and that person ends up in worse shape than before.Being Really Blessed
27 While Jesus was still talking, a woman in the crowd spoke up, “The woman who gave birth to you and nursed you is blessed!”
28 Jesus replied, “That's true, but the people who are really blessed are the ones who hear and obey God's message!”tA Sign from God
(Matthew 12.38-42; Mark 8.12)
29 t As crowds were gathering around Jesus, he said:
You people of today are evil! You keep looking for a sign from God. But what happened to Jonaht is the only sign you will be given. 30 t Just as Jonah was a sign to the people of Nineveh, the Son of Man will be a sign to the people of today. 31 t When the judgment comes, the Queen of the Southt will stand there with you and condemn you. She traveled a long way to hear Solomon's wisdom, and yet here is something far greater than Solomon.
32 t The people of Nineveh will also stand there with you and condemn you. They turned to God when Jonah preached, and yet here is something far greater than Jonah.Light
(Matthew 5.15; 6.22,23)
33 t No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a clay pot. A lamp is put on a lampstand, so everyone who comes into the house can see the light. 34 Your eyes are the lamp for your body. When your eyes are good, you have all the light you need. But when your eyes are bad, everything is dark. 35 So be sure your light isn't darkness.
36 If you have light, and nothing is dark, then light will be everywhere, as when a lamp shines brightly on you.Jesus Condemns the Pharisees //and Teachers of the Law of Moses
(Matthew 23.1-36; Mark 12.38-40; Luke 20.45-47)
37 When Jesus finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him home for a meal. Jesus went and sat down to eat.t 38 The Pharisee was surprised that he did not wash his handst before eating.
39 So the Lord said to him:
You Pharisees clean the outside of cups and dishes, but on the inside you are greedy and evil. 40 You fools! Didn't God make both the outside and the inside?t
41 If you would only give what you have to the poor, everything you do would please God.
42 t You Pharisees are in for trouble! You give God a tenth of the spices from your gardens, such as mint and rue. But you cheat people, and you don't love God. You should be fair and kind to others and still give a tenth to God.
43 You Pharisees are in for trouble! You love the front seats in the synagogues, and you like to be greeted with honor in the market.
44 But you are in for trouble! You are like unmarked gravest that people walk on without even knowing it.
45 A teacher of the Law of Moses spoke up, “Teacher, you said cruel things about us.”
46 Jesus replied:
You teachers are also in for trouble! You load people down with heavy burdens, but you won't lift a finger to help them carry the loads. 47 Yes, you are really in for trouble. You build monuments to honor the prophets your own people murdered long ago.
48 You must think that was the right thing for your people to do, or else you would not have built monuments for the prophets they murdered.
49 Because of your evil deeds, the Wisdom of God said, “I will send prophets and apostles to you. But you will murder some and mistreat others.” 50 You people living today will be punished for all the prophets who have been murdered since the beginning of the world.
51 t This includes every prophet from the time of Abel to the time of Zechariah, t who was murdered between the altar and the temple. You people will certainly be punished for all of this.
52 You teachers of the Law of Moses are really in for trouble! You carry the keys to the door of knowledge about God. But you never go in, and you keep others from going in.
53 Jesus was about to leave, but the teachers and the Pharisees wanted to get even with him. They tried to make him say what he thought about other things, 54 so they could catch him saying something wrong.
