Luk 11

(Mat 6:9-13; 7:7-11)

1 O si ṣe, bi o ti ngbadura ni ibi kan, bi o ti dakẹ, ọkan ninu awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ wi fun u pe, Oluwa, kọ́ wa bi ãti igbadura, bi Johanu si ti kọ́ awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀. 2 O si wi fun wọn pe, Nigbati ẹnyin ba ngbadura, ẹ mã wipe, Baba wa ti mbẹ li ọrun, Ki a bọ̀wọ̀ fun orukọ rẹ. Ki ijọba rẹ de. Ifẹ tirẹ ni ki a ṣe, bi ti ọrun, bẹni li aiye. 3 Fun wa li onjẹ ojọ wa li ojojumọ́. 4 Ki o si dari ẹ̀ṣẹ wa jì wa; nitori awa tikarawa pẹlu a ma darijì olukuluku ẹniti o jẹ wa ni gbese. Má si fà wa sinu idẹwò; ṣugbọn gbà wa lọwọ bilisi. 5 O si wi fun wọn pe, Tani ninu nyin ti yio ni ọrẹ́ kan, ti yio si tọ̀ ọ lọ larin ọganjọ, ti yio si wi fun u pe, Ọrẹ́, win mi ni ìṣu akara mẹta: 6 Nitori ọrẹ́ mi kan ti àjo bọ sọdọ mi, emi kò si ni nkan ti emi o gbé kalẹ niwaju rẹ̀; 7 Ti on o si gbé inu ile dahùn wi fun u pe, Má yọ mi lẹnu: a ti sé ilẹkun na, awọn ọmọ mi si mbẹ lori ẹní pẹlu mi; emi ko le dide fifun ọ? 8 Mo wi fun nyin, bi on kò tilẹ fẹ dide ki o fifun u, nitoriti iṣe ọrẹ́ rẹ̀, ṣugbọn nitori awiyannu rẹ̀ yio dide, yio si fun u pọ̀ to bi o ti nfẹ. 9 Emi si wi fun nyin, Ẹ bère, a o si fifun nyin; ẹ wá kiri, ẹnyin o si ri; ẹ kànkun, a o si ṣi i silẹ fun nyin. 10 Nitori ẹnikẹni ti o ba bère, o ri gbà; ẹniti o si nwá kiri o ri; ati ẹniti o kànkun li a o ṣí i silẹ fun. 11 Tani iṣe baba ninu nyin ti ọmọ rẹ̀ yio bère akara lọdọ rẹ̀, ti o jẹ fun u li okuta? tabi bi o bère ẹja, ti o jẹ fun u li ejò dipo ẹja? 12 Tabi bi o si bère ẹyin, ti o jẹ fun u li akẽkẽ?

13 Njẹ bi ẹnyin ti iṣe enia buburu ba mọ̀ bi ãti ifi ẹ̀bun didara fun awọn ọmọ nyin: melomelo ni Baba nyin ti mbẹ li ọrun yio fi Ẹmí Mimọ́ rẹ̀ fun awọn ti o mbère lọdọ rẹ̀?

Jesu ati Beelsebulu

(Mat 12:22-30; Mak 3:20-27)


14 O si nlé ẹmi èṣu kan jade, ti o si yadi. O si ṣe, nigbati ẹmi èṣu na jade, odi sọrọ; ẹnu si yà ijọ enia. 15 Ṣugbọn awọn ẹlomiran ninu wọn wipe, Nipa Beelsebubu olori awọn ẹmi èṣu li o fi nlé awọn ẹmi èṣu jade. 16 Awọn ẹlomiran si ndan a wò, nwọn fẹ àmi lọdọ rẹ̀ lati ọrun wá. 17 Ṣugbọn on mọ̀ ìro inu wọn, o wi fun wọn pe, Gbogbo ijọba ti o yà ara rẹ̀ ni ipa, a sọ ọ di ahoro; ile ti o si yà ara rẹ̀ ni ipa, a wó. 18 Bi Satani si yàpa si ara rẹ̀, ijọba rẹ̀ yio ha ṣe duro? nitori ẹnyin wipe, Nipa Beelsebubu li emi fi nle awọn ẹmi èṣu jade. 19 Bi o ba si ṣepe nipa Beelsebubu li emi fi nlé awọn ẹmi èṣu jade, nipa tali awọn ọmọ nyin fi nlé wọn jade? nitorina awọn ni yio ṣe onidajọ nyin. 20 Ṣugbọn bi o ba ṣepe ika Ọlọrun li emi fi nlé awọn ẹmi èṣu jade, kò si aniani, ijọba Ọlọrun de ba nyin. 21 Nigbati ọkunrin alagbara ti o hamọra ba nṣọ afin rẹ̀, ẹrù rẹ̀ a wà li alãfia: 22 Ṣugbọn nigbati ẹniti o li agbara jù u ba kọlù u, ti o si ṣẹgun rẹ̀, a gbà gbogbo ihamọra rẹ̀ ti o gbẹkẹle lọwọ rẹ̀, a si pín ikogun rẹ̀. 23 Ẹniti kò ba wà pẹlu mi, o lodi si mi: ẹniti kò ba si bá mi kopọ̀, o nfunká. 24 Nigbati ẹmi aimọ́ ba jade kuro lara enia, ama rìn kiri ni ibi gbigbẹ, ama wá ibi isimi; nigbati ko ba si ri, a wipe, Emi o pada lọ si ile mi nibiti mo gbé ti jade wá. 25 Nigbati o si de, o bá a, a gbá a, a si ṣe e li ọṣọ́.

26 Nigbana li o lọ, o si mu ẹmi meje miran ti o buru jù on tikararẹ̀ lọ; nwọn wọle, nwọn si joko nibẹ̀: igbẹhin ọkunrin na si buru jù iṣaju rẹ̀ lọ.

Ẹni Tí Ó ní Ibukun Tòótọ́


27 O si ṣe, bi o ti nsọ nkan wọnyi, obinrin kan nahùn ninu ijọ, o si wi fun u pe, Ibukun ni fun inu ti o bí ọ, ati ọmú ti iwọ mu.

28 Ṣugbọn on wipe, Nitõtọ, ki a kuku wipe, Ibukun ni fun awọn ti ngbọ́ ọ̀rọ Ọlọrun, ti nwọn si pa a mọ́.

Àwọn Kan Bèèrè Àmì Lọ́wọ́ Jesu

29 Nigbati ijọ enia si ṣùjọ si ọdọ rẹ̀ o bẹ̀rẹ si iwipe, Iran buburu li eyi: nwọn nwá àmi; a kì yio si fi àmi kan fun u, bikoṣe àmi Jona woli. 30 Nitori bi Jona ti jẹ àmi fun awọn ara Ninefe, gẹgẹ bẹ̃ li Ọmọ-enia yio ṣe àmi fun iran yi. 31 Ọbabirin gusù yio dide li ọjọ idajọ pẹlu awọn enia iran yi, yio si da wọn lẹbi: nitoriti o ti iha ipẹkun aiye wá lati gbọ́ ọgbọ́n Solomoni: si kiyesi i, ẹniti o pọ̀ju Solomoni lọ mbẹ nihinyi.

32 Awọn ara Ninefe yio dide li ọjọ idajọ pẹlu iran yi, nwọn o si da a lẹbi: nitoriti nwọn ronupiwada nipa iwasu Jona; si kiyesi i, ẹniti o pọ̀ju Jona lọ mbẹ nihinyi.

Ìmọ́lẹ̀ Ara

(Mat 5:15; 6:22-23)


33 Kò si ẹnikan, nigbati o ba tan fitila tán, ti igbé e si ìkọkọ, tabi sabẹ oṣuwọn, bikoṣe sori ọpá fitilà, ki awọn ti nwọle ba le mã ri imọlẹ. 34 Oju ni imọlẹ ara: bi oju rẹ ba mọ́, gbogbo ara rẹ a mọlẹ; ṣugbọn bi oju rẹ ba buru, ara rẹ pẹlu a kun fun òkunkun. 35 Nitorina kiyesi i, ki imọlẹ ti mbẹ ninu rẹ ki o máṣe di òkunkun.

36 Njẹ bi gbogbo ara rẹ ba kun fun imọlẹ, ti ko li apakan ti o ṣokunkun, ara rẹ, gbogbo ni yio kun fun imọlẹ, bi igbati fitila ba fi itanṣan rẹ̀ fun ọ ni imọlẹ.

37 Bi o si ti nwi, Farisi kan bẹ̀ ẹ ki o ba on jẹun: o si wọle, o joko lati jẹun. 38 Nigbati Farisi na si ri i, ẹnu yà a nitoriti kò kọ́ wẹ̀ ki o to jẹun. 39 Oluwa si wi fun u pe, Ẹnyin Farisi a ma fọ̀ ode ago ati awopọkọ́; ṣugbọn inu nyin kún fun irẹjẹ iwa-buburu. 40 Ẹnyin alaimoye, ẹniti o ṣe eyi ti mbẹ lode, on kọ́ ha ṣe eyi ti mbẹ ninu pẹlu? 41 Ki ẹnyin ki o kuku mã ṣe itọrẹ ãnu ninu ohun ti ẹnyin ni; si kiyesi i, ohun gbogbo li o di mimọ́ fun nyin. 42 Ṣugbọn egbé ni fun nyin, ẹnyin Farisi! nitoriti ẹnyin a ma san idamẹwa minti, ati rue, ati gbogbo ewebẹ̀, ṣugbọn ẹnyin gbojufò idajọ ati ifẹ Ọlọrun: wọnyi li ẹnyin iba ṣe, ẹ kì ba si ti fi ekeji silẹ laiṣe. 43 Egbé ni fun nyin, ẹnyin Farisi! nitoriti ẹnyin fẹ ipò-ọlá ninu sinagogu, ati ikí-ni li ọjà. 44 Egbé ni fun nyin, ẹnyin akọwe, ati ẹnyin Farisi, agabagebe! nitoriti ẹnyin dabi isa okú ti kò hàn, awọn enia ti o si nrìn lori wọn kò mọ̀. 45 Nigbana li ọkan ninu awọn amofin dahùn, o si wi fun u pe, Olukọni, li eyi ti iwọ nwi nì iwọ ngàn awa pẹlu. 46 O si wipe, Egbé ni fun ẹnyin amofin pẹlu! nitoriti ẹnyin di ẹrù ti o wuwo lati rù le enia lori, bẹ̃ni ẹnyin tikara nyin kò jẹ fi ika nyin kan kàn ẹrù na. 47 Egbé ni fun nyin! nitoriti ẹnyin kọ́le oju-õrì awọn woli, awọn baba nyin li o si ti pa wọn. 48 Njẹ ẹnyin njẹ ẹlẹri, ẹ si ni inudidun si iṣe awọn baba nyin: nitori nwọn pa wọn, ẹnyin si kọ́le oju-õrì wọn. 49 Nitori eyi li ọgbọ́n Ọlọrun si ṣe wipe, emi ó rán awọn woli ati awọn aposteli si wọn, ninu wọn ni nwọn o si pa, ti nwọn o si ṣe inunibini si: 50 Ki a le bère ẹ̀jẹ awọn woli gbogbo, ti a ti ta silẹ lati igba ipilẹṣẹ aiye wá, lọdọ iran yi; 51 Lati ẹ̀jẹ Abeli wá, titi o si fi de ẹ̀jẹ Sakariah, ti o ṣegbé lãrin pẹpẹ on tẹmpili: lõtọ ni mo wi fun nyin, A o bère rẹ̀ lọdọ iran yi. 52 Egbé ni fun nyin, ẹnyin amofin! nitoriti ẹnyin gbà ọmọ-ṣika ìmọ: ẹnyin tikaranyin kò wọle, awọn ti si nwọle, li ẹnyin kọ̀ fun. 53 Bi o ti nwi nkan wọnyi fun wọn, awọn akọwe ati awọn Farisi bẹ̀rẹ si ibinu si i gidigidi, nwọn si nyọ ọ lẹnu lati wi nkan pipọ: 54 Nwọn nṣọ ọ, nwọn nwá ọ̀na ati ri nkan gbámu li ẹnu rẹ̀, ki nwọn ki o le fi i sùn.

Luke 11

Instruction about Prayer

1 It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples."2 And He said to them, "When you pray, say:
'tFather, hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.

3 'Give us each day our daily bread.

4 'And forgive us our sins,
For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation.'"

5 Then He said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves;6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him';7 and from inside he answers and says, 'Do not bother me; the door has already been shut and my children and I are in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.'8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.10 For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.11 Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?12 Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he?13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"

Pharisees' Blasphemy

14 And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.15 But some of them said, "He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons."16 Others, to test Him, were demanding of Him a sign from heaven.17 But He knew their thoughts and said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls.18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.19 And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? So they will be your judges.20 But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed.22 But when someone stronger than he attacks him and overpowers him, he takes away from him all his armor on which he had relied and distributes his plunder.23 He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.

24 "When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'25 And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order.26 Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first."

27 While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed."28 But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."

The Sign of Jonah

29 As the crowds were increasing, He began to say, "This generation is a wicked generation; it seeks for a sign, and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah.30 For just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation.31 The Queen of the South will rise up with the men of this generation at the judgment and condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.32 The men of Nineveh will stand up with this generation at the judgment and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

33 "No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.34 The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.35 Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.36 If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays."

Woes upon the Pharisees

37 Now when He had spoken, a Pharisee *asked Him to have lunch with him; and He went in, and reclined at the table. 38 When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that He had not first ceremonially washed before the meal.39 But the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but inside of you, you are full of robbery and wickedness.40 You foolish ones, did not He who made the outside make the inside also?41 But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you.

42 "But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.43 Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the chief seats in the synagogues and the respectful greetings in the market places.44 Woe to you! For you are like concealed tombs, and the people who walk over them are unaware of it."

45 One of the tlawyers *said to Him in reply, "Teacher, when You say this, You insult us too."46 But He said, "Woe to you lawyers as well! For you weigh men down with burdens hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers.47 Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and it was your fathers who killed them.48 So you are witnesses and approve the deeds of your fathers; because it was they who killed them, and you build their tombs.49 For this reason also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and some they will persecute,50 so that the blood of all the prophets, shed since the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation,51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the house of God; yes, I tell you, it shall be charged against this generation.'52 Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering."

53 When He left there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be very hostile and to question Him closely on many subjects,54 plotting against Him to catch Him in something He might say.
