لوقا 12

پرهیز از ریاكاری

(متّی 26:10-27)

1 در این هنگام جمعیّتی مركب از هزاران نفر گرد‌ آمده بود به طوری که یكدیگر را زیر پا می‌گذاشتند. عیسی قبل از همه با شاگردان خود شروع به سخن كرده گفت: «از خمیرمایهٔ فریسیان یعنی ریاكاری آنان برحذر باشید. 2 هرچه پوشیده است، عاقبت پرده از رویش برداشته خواهد شد و هرچه پنهان است، آشكار خواهد شد.

3 بنابراین آنچه را كه در تاریكی گفته‌اید، در روشنایی روز شنیده خواهد شد و آنچه را كه پشت درهای بسته آهسته گفته‌اید، روی بامها اعلام خواهد شد.

خداترسی

(متّی 28:10-31)

4 «به شما كه دوستان من هستید می‌گویم: از کسانی‌که بدن را می‌کُشند و بعد از آن، كار دیگری از دستشان بر نمی‌آید، نترسید.

5 شما را آگاه می‌سازم كه از چه كسی باید بترسید: از آن كسی بترسید كه پس از كشتن، اختیار دارد به جهنم اندازد. آری، می‌گویم از او باید ترسید.
6 «آیا قیمت پنج گنجشک، دو ریال نمی‌باشد؟ امّا هیچ‌كدام از آنها از نظر خدا دور نیست.

7 علاوه بر این، حتّی موهای سر شما تماماً شمرده شده است هیچ نترسید؛ شما از گنجشکهای بی‌شمار بیشتر ارزش دارید!

اقرار همبستگی با مسیح

(متّی 32:10-33؛ 32:12؛ 19:10-20)

8 «بدانید: هرکه در برابر مردم خود را از آن من بداند، پسر انسان در برابر فرشتگان خدا او را از آن خود خواهد دانست.

9 امّا هرکه در برابر مردم بگوید كه مرا نمی‌شناسد، در حضور فرشتگان خداناشناس محسوب خواهد شد.

10 «هرکس کلمه‌ای برضد پسر انسان بگوید بخشوده خواهد شد امّا آن کسی‌که به روح‌القدس بد بگوید بخشیده نخواهد شد.
11 «وقتی شما را به کنیسه‌ها و دادگاه‌ها و به حضور فرمانروایان می‌آورند، نگران نباشید كه چطور از خود دفاع كنید و چه بگویید،

12 چون در همان ساعت، روح‌القدس به شما نشان می‌دهد كه چه بگویید.»

مَثَل توانگر نادان

13 مردی از میان جمعیّت به عیسی گفت: «ای استاد، به برادر من بگو ارث خانواده را با من تقسیم كند.» 14 عیسی جواب داد: «ای مرد، چه کسی مرا در میان شما قاضی و حَكَم قرار داده است؟»

15 بعد به مردم فرمود: «مواظب باشید. خود را از هر نوع حِرص و طمع دور بدارید، زیرا زندگی واقعی را ثروت فراوان تشكیل نمی‌دهد.»
16 سپس برای ایشان این مَثَل را آورده گفت: «مردی زمینی داشت كه محصول فراوانی آورد. 17 با خود فكر كرد كه: 'چه ‌كنم؟ جا ندارم كه محصول خود را انبار كنم.' 18 سپس گفت: 'خوب، فهمیدم چه‌كار كنم. انبارها را خراب می‌کنم و آنها را بزرگتر می‌سازم. غلّه و سایر اجناسم را جمع‌آوری می‌كنم. 19 آن وقت به خود می‌گویم ای جان من، تو به فراوانی چیزهای خوب جمع کرده‌ای كه برای سالیان درازی كفایت می‌کند، آسوده باش، بخور و بنوش و خوش بگذران.' 20 امّا خدا به او فرمود: 'ای احمق، همین امشب باید جانت را تسلیم كنی، پس آنچه اندوخته‌ای مال چه كسی خواهد بود؟'

21 این است عاقبت مردی كه برای خود ثروت می‌اندوزد ولی نزد خدا دست‌خالی است.»

توکّل بر خدا

(متّی 25:6-34)

22 به شاگردان فرمود: «به این سبب است كه به شما می‌گویم: به‌خاطر زندگی، نگران غذا و برای بدن، نگران لباس نباشید، 23 زیرا زندگی، بالاتر از غذا و بدن، بالاتر از لباس است. 24 به كلاغها فكر كنید: نه می‌كارند و نه درو می‌کنند، نه انبار دارند و نه كاهدان، ولی خدا به آنها روزی می‌دهد و شما خیلی بیشتر از پرندگان ارزش دارید! 25 آیا یكی از شما می‌تواند با نگرانی، ساعتی به طول عمر خود بیافزاید؟ 26 پس اگر شما كاری به این كوچكی را هم نمی‌توانید بكنید چرا در مورد بقیّهٔ چیزها نگران هستید؟ 27 در رشد و نمو سوسن‌ها تأمّل كنید: نه می‌ریسند و نه می‌بافند، ولی بدانید كه حتّی سلیمان هم با آن‌همه حشمت و جلال مثل یكی از آنها آراسته نشد. 28 پس اگر خدا علفی را كه امروز در صحرا می‌روید و فردا در تنور سوخته می‌شود چنین می‌آراید چقدر بیشتر ای كم‌ایمانان شما را خواهد پوشانید! 29 برای آنچه می‌خورید و می‌آشامید این‌قدر تقلّا نكنید و نگران نباشید، 30 چون اینها تماماً چیزهایی است كه مردم این دنیا دنبال می‌کنند. امّا شما پدری دارید كه می‌داند به آنها محتاجید.

31 شما پادشاهی او را هدف خود قرار دهید و بقیّهٔ چیزها به سراغ شما خواهد آمد.

ثروت در آسمان

(متّی 19:6-21)

32 «ای گلّهٔ كوچک، هیچ نترسید، زیرا خوشی پدر شما در این است كه آن پادشاهی را به شما عطا كند. 33 آنچه دارید بفروشید و به فقرا بدهید و برای خود كیسه‌هایی فراهم كنید كه كهنه نمی‌شود و ثروتی در آن عالم ذخیره نمایید كه هیچ كاسته نمی‌گردد و هیچ دزدی نمی‌تواند به آن دستبرد بزند و بید آن را از بین نمی‌برد،

34 زیرا اموال شما هر كجا باشد، دل شما هم آنجا خواهد بود.

خادمان كمربسته

35 «با كمرهای بسته و چراغ‌های روشن آمادهٔ كار باشید. 36 مانند اشخاصی باشید كه منتظر آمدن ارباب خود از یک مجلس عروسی هستند و حاضرند كه هروقت برسد و در بزند، در را برایش باز کنند. 37 خوشا به حال خادمانی كه وقتی اربابشان می‌آید آنان را چشم به راه ببیند. یقیین بدانید كه كمر خود را خواهد بست، آنان را بر سر سفره خواهد نشانید و به خدمت آنها خواهد پرداخت، 38 چه نیمه شب باشد و چه قبل از سپیده‌دَم. خوشا به حال آنان اگر وقتی اربابشان می‌آید ملاحظه كند كه آنها چشم به راه هستند. 39 خاطرجمع باشید اگر صاحب خانه می‌دانست كه دزد چه ساعتی می‌آید، نمی‌گذاشت وارد خانه‌اش بشود.

40 پس آماده باشید چون پسر انسان در ساعتی می‌آید كه شما كمتر انتظار آن را دارید.»

41 پطرس عرض كرد: «خداوندا، آیا مقصود تو از این مثال، تنها ما هستیم یا برای همه است؟»
42 عیسی خداوند فرمود: «خوب، كیست آن مباشر امین و باتدیبر كه اربابش او را به عنوان ناظر منصوب كند تا نوكرانش را اداره نماید و در وقت مناسب جیرهٔ آنها را بدهد؟ 43 خوشا به حال آن غلامی كه وقتی اربابش می‌آید او را سر كار خود ببیند. 44 یقین بدانید كه اربابش او را مباشر همهٔ املاک خود خواهد كرد. 45 امّا اگر آن غلام به خود بگوید: 'ارباب به این زودیها نخواهد آمد' و دست به آزار غلامان و كنیزان بزند و بخورد و بنوشد و مستی كند،

46 یک روز كه آن غلام انتظارش را ندارد و در ساعتی كه او نمی‌داند، ارباب خواهد رسید و او را تکه‌تکه خواهد كرد و به این ترتیب او جزء نامطیعان خواهد شد.
47 «غلامی كه خواسته‌های ارباب خود را می‌داند و با وجود این برای انجام آنها هیچ اقدامی نمی‌کند با شلاّق ضربه‌های بسیار خواهد خورد.

48 امّا کسی‌که از خواسته‌های اربابش بی‌خبر است و مرتكب عملی می‌شود كه سزاوار تنبیه می‌باشد، ضربه‌های كمتری خواهد خورد. هرگاه به كسی زیاده داده شود از او زیاد مطالبه خواهد شد و هرگاه به كسی زیادتر سپرده شود، از او زیادتر مطالبه خواهد شد.

تفرقه

(متّی 34:10-36)

49 «من آمده‌ام تا برروی زمین آتشی روشن كنم و ای كاش زودتر از این روشن می‌شد. 50 من تعمیدی دارم كه باید بگیرم و تا زمان انجام آن چقدر تحت فشارم! 51 آیا گمان می‌کنید من آمده‌ام تا صلح برروی زمین برقرار كنم؟ خیر، این‌طور نیست! بدانید كه من آمده‌ام تا تفرقه بیاندازم. 52 زیرا از این پس بین پنج نفر اعضای یک خانواده تفرقه خواهد افتاد، سه نفر مخالف دو نفر و دو نفر مخالف سه نفر خواهند بود:

53 پدر مخالف پسر و پسر مخالف پدر، مادر مخالف دختر و دختر مخالف مادر، مادرشوهر مخالف عروس و عروس مخالف مادرشوهر.»

شناختن زمان

(متّی 2:16-3)

54 همچنین به مردم فرمود: «شما وقتی می‌‌بینید كه ابرها از مغرب پدیدار می‌شوند، فوراً می‌گویید: 'می‌خواهد باران ببارد' و باران هم می‌بارد 55 و وقتی باد از جانب جنوب می‌آید می‌گویید: 'گرمای شدیدی خواهد شد' و همین‌طور می‌شود.

56 ای ریاكاران! شما كه می‌توانید به ظواهر زمین و آسمان نگاه كنید و حالت آن را پیش‌بینی كنید چگونه از درک معنی این روزگار عاجزید؟

مصالحه با مدّعی

(متّی 25:5-26)

57 «چرا نمی‌توانید راه راست را برای خود تشخیص دهید؟ 58 اگر كسی علیه تو ادّعایی كند و تو را به دادگاه بكشاند، سعی كن هنگامی‌که هنوز در راه هستی با او كنار بیایی وگرنه او تو را نزد قاضی می‌برد و قاضی تو را به دست پاسبان می‌دهد و پاسبان تو را به زندان می‌اندازد. 59 بدان كه تا دینار آخر را ندهی بیرون نخواهی آمد.»

LUKE 12

Warnings

1  t As thousands of people crowded around Jesus and were stepping on each other, he told his disciples:
Be sure to guard against the dishonest teachingt of the Pharisees! It is their way of fooling people. 2 t Everything that is hidden will be found out, and every secret will be known.

3 Whatever you say in the dark will be heard when it is day. Whatever you whisper in a closed room will be shouted from the housetops.

The One To Fear

(Matthew 10.28-31)

4  t My friends, don't be afraid of people. They can kill you, but after that, there is nothing else they can do.

5 God is the one you must fear. Not only can he take your life, but he can throw you into hell. God is certainly the one you should fear!
6 Five sparrows are sold for only a few cents, but God doesn't forget a single one of them.

7 Even the hairs on your head are counted. So don't be afraid! You are worth much more than many sparrows.

Telling Others about Christ

(Matthew 10.32,33; 12.32; 10.19,20)

8 If you tell others that you belong to me, the Son of Man will tell God's angels that you are my followers. 9 But if you reject me, you will be rejected in front of them.

10 t If you speak against the Son of Man, you can be forgiven, but if you speak against the Holy Spirit, you cannot be forgiven.
11  t When you are brought to trial in the synagogues or before rulers or officials, don't worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say.

12 At that time the Holy Spirit will tell you what to say.

A Rich Fool

13 A man in a crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, tell my brother to give me my share of what our father left us when he died.”

14 Jesus answered, “Who gave me the right to settle arguments between you and your brother?”

15 Then he said to the crowd, “Don't be greedy! Owning a lot of things won't make your life safe.”

16 So Jesus told them this story:
A rich man's farm produced a big crop,

17 and he said to himself, “What can I do? I don't have a place large enough to store everything.”
18 Later, he said, “Now I know what I'll do. I'll tear down my barns and build bigger ones, where I can store all my grain and other goods.

19 t Then I'll say to myself, ‘You have stored up enough good things to last for years to come. Live it up! Eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.’ ”

20 But God said to him, “You fool! Tonight you will die. Then who will get what you have stored up?”

21 “This is what happens to people who store up everything for themselves, but are poor in the sight of God.”

Worry

(Matthew 6.25-34)

22 Jesus said to his disciples:
I tell you not to worry about your life! Don't worry about having something to eat or wear. 23 Life is more than food or clothing. 24 Look at the crows! They don't plant or harvest, and they don't have storehouses or barns. But God takes care of them. You are much more important than any birds. 25 Can worry make you live longer?t

26 If you don't have power over small things, why worry about everything else?
27  t Look how the wild flowers grow! They don't work hard to make their clothes. But I tell you Solomon with all his wealtht wasn't as well clothed as one of these flowers.

28 God gives such beauty to everything that grows in the fields, even though it is here today and thrown into a fire tomorrow. Won't he do even more for you? You have such little faith!
29 Don't keep worrying about having something to eat or drink. 30 Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father knows what you need.

31 But put God's work first, and these things will be yours as well.

Treasures in Heaven

(Matthew 6.19-21)

32 My little group of disciples, don't be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves moneybags that never wear out. Make sure your treasure is safe in heaven, where thieves cannot steal it and moths cannot destroy it.

34 Your heart will always be where your treasure is.

Faithful and Unfaithful Servants

(Matthew 24.45-51)

35  t Be ready and keep your lamps burning 36 t just like those servants who wait up for their master to return from a wedding feast. As soon as he comes and knocks, they open the door for him. 37 Servants are fortunate if their master finds them awake and ready when he comes! I promise you he will get ready and let his servants sit down so he can serve them. 38 Those servants are really fortunate if their master finds them ready, even though he comes late at night or early in the morning. 39 t You would surely not let a thief break into your home, if you knew when the thief was coming.

40 So always be ready! You don't know when the Son of Man will come.

41 Peter asked Jesus, “Did you say this just for us or for everyone?”

42 The Lord answered:
Who are faithful and wise servants? Who are the ones the master will put in charge of giving the other servants their food supplies at the proper time? 43 Servants are fortunate if their master comes and finds them doing their job.

44 A servant who is always faithful will surely be put in charge of everything the master owns.
45 But suppose one of the servants thinks that the master won't return until late. Suppose that servant starts beating all the other servants and eats and drinks and gets drunk.

46 If that happens, the master will come on a day and at a time when the servant least expects him. That servant will then be punished and thrown out with the servants who cannot be trusted.
47 If servants are not ready or willing to do what their master wants them to do, they will be beaten hard.

48 But servants who don't know what their master wants them to do will not be beaten so hard for doing wrong. If God has been generous with you, he will expect you to serve him well. But if he has been more than generous, he will expect you to serve him even better.

Not Peace, but Trouble

(Matthew 10.34-36)

49 I came to set fire to the earth, and I wish it were already on fire! 50 t I am going to be put to a hard test. And I will have to suffer a lot of pain until it is over. 51 Do you think that I came to bring peace to earth? No indeed! I came to make people choose sides. 52 A family of five will be divided, with two of them against the other three.

53 t Fathers and sons will turn against one another, and mothers and daughters will do the same. Mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law will also turn against each other.

Knowing What To Do

(Matthew 16.2,3; 5.25,26)

54 Jesus said to all the people:
As soon as you see a cloud coming up in the west, you say, “It's going to rain,” and it does. 55 When the south wind blows, you say, “It's going to get hot,” and it does. 56 Are you trying to fool someone? You can predict the weather by looking at the earth and sky, but you don't really know what's going on right now. 57 Why don't you understand the right thing to do? 58 When someone accuses you of something, try to settle things before you are taken to court. If you don't, you will be dragged before the judge. Then the judge will hand you over to the jailer, and you will be locked up. 59 You won't get out until you have paid the last cent you owe.
