2 ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_ปิด_บัง_ไว้_ก็จะ_ถูก_เปิด_โปง_ออก_มา และ_ทุก_อย่าง_ที่_เป็น_ความ_ลับ_ก็_จะ_ถูก_เปิดเผย

3 สิ่ง_ที่_พวก_คุณ_แอบ_พูด_กัน_ใน_ที่_มืด_จะ_ได้_ยิน_ใน_ที่_แจ้ง และ_สิ่ง_ที่_คุณ_กระซิบ_ข้าง_หู_ใน_ห้อง_ส่วน_ตัว ก็_จะ_ถูก_ประกาศ_จาก_บน_หลังคา”

4 “เพื่อน_รัก อย่า_กลัว_มนุษย์_เลย เพราะ_เขา_ฆ่า_ได้_แต่_เพียง_ร่าง_กาย_เท่า_นั้น หลัง_จาก_นั้น_เขา_ก็_ทำ_อะไร_คุณ_ไม่_ได้_อีก_แล้ว

5 แต่_ให้_เกรง_กลัว_พระองค์ ผู้_ที่_มี_อำนาจ_ที่_นอก_จาก_จะ_ฆ่า_แล้ว_ยัง_โยน_ลง_ไปใน_นรก_ได้_อีก_ด้วย ใช่_แล้ว เรา_บอก_ให้_เกรง_กลัว_ผู้_นี้_แหละ

9 แต่_คน_ที่_ไม่_ยอมรับ_เรา_ต่อหน้า_มนุษย์ เรา_ก็_จะ_ไม่_ยอมรับ_เขา_ต่อหน้า_ทูต_ของ_พระเจ้า_เหมือน_กัน

พระ_เยซู_เตือน_เรื่อง_ความ_โลภ

13 มี_ชาว_บ้าน_คน_หนึ่ง_พูด_ว่า “อาจารย์_ครับ ช่วย_บอก_ให้_พี่ชาย_ผม_แบ่ง_มรดก_ของ_พ่อ_ให้_ผม_ด้วย_ครับ”

14 แต่_พระ_เยซู_ตอบ_ว่า “พ่อ_หนุ่ม ใคร_เป็น_คน_ตั้ง_ให้_เรา_เป็น_ผู้_แบ่ง_มรดก_ระหว่าง_คุณ_สอง_คน”

15 พระ_เยซู_พูด_อีก_ว่า “ระวัง_ความ_โลภ_ทุก_ชนิด เพราะ_ชีวิต_ที่_แท้_จริง_นั้น_ไม่_ได้_อยู่_ที่_การ_มี_ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_มาก_มาย”

16 แล้ว_พระองค์_เล่า_เรื่อง_เปรียบ_เทียบ_นี้_ให้_ฟัง_ว่า “มี_ชาย_ที่_ร่ำรวย_คน_หนึ่ง ไร่_นา_ของ_เขา_ให้_พืชผล_ดี_มาก

17 เขา_คิด_ใน_ใจ_ว่า ‘ข้า_จะ_ทำ_ยัง_ไง_ดี ไม่_มี_ที่_จะ_เก็บ_พืชผล_พวก_นี้_ของ_ข้า_แล้ว’

18 เขา_จึง_คิด_ว่า ‘อ๋อ รู้_แล้ว ข้า_จะ_รื้อ_ยุ้ง_ฉาง_พวก_นี้_ของ_ข้า_ทิ้ง_แล้ว_สร้าง_ขึ้น_ใหม่_ให้_ใหญ่_กว่า_เดิม เพื่อ_จะ_ได้_เก็บ_พืชผล_และ_สิ่ง_ของ_ทั้ง_หมด_ของ_ข้า_ไว้_ที่_นั่น’

19 แล้ว_จะ_บอก_กับ_ตัวเอง_ว่า ‘ข้า_ได้_เก็บ_สะสม_ของดีๆ_ไว้_ตั้ง_มาก_มาย_แล้ว มี_พอ_สำหรับ_หลาย_ปี ไป_กิน ดื่ม_และ_ใช้_ชีวิต_อย่าง_สนุกสนาน_ดี_กว่า’

20 แต่_พระเจ้า_บอก_กับ_เขา_ว่า ‘ไอ้_โง่ คืน_นี้_เจ้า_ก็_จะ_ตาย_แล้ว แล้ว_ของ_ที่_เจ้า_สะสม_ไว้_จะ_ตก_ไป_เป็น_ของ_ใคร_กัน’

21 มัน_ก็_จะ_เป็น_อย่าง_นี้_แหละ สำหรับ_คน_ที่_ชอบ_สะสม_ความ_ร่ำรวย_ให้_กับ_ตัวเอง แต่_ไม่_ร่ำรวย_ใน_สายตา_พระเจ้า”

แสวงหา_อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า_ก่อน

อย่า_ไว้วางใจ_เงิน

32 “ฝูง_แกะ_เล็กๆ_เอ๋ย ไม่_ต้อง_กลัว_นะ เพราะ_พระบิดา_ของ_คุณ_ยินดี_ที่_จะ_มอบ_อาณา_จักร_ให้_กับ_คุณ

33 ให้_ไป_ขาย_ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_ที่_มี_อยู่ เอา_เงิน_ไป_แจก_ให้_กับ_คน_จน แล้ว_จัดหา_ถุง_เงิน_ที่_ไม่_มี_วัน_เก่า_หรือ_ขาด_ให้_กับ_ตัวเอง คือ_ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_บน_สวรรค์_ที่_ไม่_มี_วัน_หมด ขโมย_ก็_ลัก_เอา_ไป_ไม่_ได้ และ_ตัว_มอด_ก็_กัด_กิน_ไม่_ได้_ด้วย

35 “แต่ง_ตัว_เตรียม_พร้อม_ที่_จะ_รับใช้_อยู่_เสมอ และ_จุด_ตะเกียง_ให้_ส่อง_สว่าง_อยู่_เสมอ

36 เหมือน_กับ_คน_ที่_กำลัง_คอย_เจ้า_นาย_ของ_ตน_กลับ_มา_จาก_งาน_แต่งงาน เมื่อ_เขา_มา_เคาะ_ประตู_เรียก ก็_จะ_ได้_เปิด_ให้_ทัน_ที

37 พวก_คน_ใช้_ที่_เจ้า_นาย_กลับ_มา_พบ_ว่า_ยัง_คง_ตื่น_คอย_เขา_อยู่ ก็_ถือ_ว่า_มี_เกียรติ_จริงๆ_เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า นาย_คน_นั้น_จะ_พา_พวก_คน_ใช้_ไป_นั่ง_ที่_โต๊ะ และ_เขา_ก็_จะ_ใส่_ผ้า_กัน_เปื้อน มา_คอย_ให้_บริการ_พวก_คน_ใช้_ที่_นั่ง_กิน_อยู่

38 ถ้า_นาย_กลับ_มา_ตอน_เที่ยงคืน_หรือ_ดึก_กว่า_นั้น แล้ว_พบ_ว่า_คน_ใช้_ยัง_อยู่_เตรียม_พร้อม_อย่าง_นั้น พวก_เขา_ก็_มี_เกียรติ_จริงๆ

39 แต่_ให้_รู้_นะ_ว่า ถ้า_เจ้า_ของ_บ้าน_รู้ตัว_ว่า ขโมย_จะ_มา_เวลา_ไหน เขา_คง_ไม่_ปล่อย_ให้_ขโมย_งัด_เข้า_มา_ใน_บ้าน_แน่

46 เจ้า_นาย_จะ_กลับ_มา_ใน_วัน_และ_เวลา_ที่_เขา_ไม่_คาด_คิด แล้ว_เขา_ก็_จะ_ถูก_ตัด_เป็น_ชิ้นๆ_พร้อม_กับ_ทาส_คน_อื่นๆ_ที่_ไม่_เชื่อ_ฟัง

47 ทาส_ที่_ไม่_ยอม_เตรียม_ตัว หรือ_ไม่_ทำ_ตาม_สิ่ง_ที่_เจ้า_นาย_สั่ง_ให้_ทำ จะ_ถูก_เฆี่ยน_อย่าง_หนัก

ความ_แตก_แยก_กัน_เรื่อง_พระ_เยซู

49 “เรา_มา_เพื่อ_ทำ_ให้_โลก_นี้_ลุก_เป็น_ไฟ เรา_อยาก_ให้_มัน_ลุก_เป็น_ไฟ_เดี๋ยว_นี้_เลย

Luke 12

God Knows and Cares

1 Under these circumstances, after so many thousands of people had gathered together that they were stepping on one another, He began saying to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.2 But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.3 Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.

4 "I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do.5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!6 Are not five sparrows sold for two cents? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God.7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.

8 "And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;9 but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him.11 When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."

Covetousness Denounced

13 Someone in the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me."14 But He said to him, "Man, who appointed Me a judge or arbitrator over you?"15 Then He said to them, "Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions."16 And He told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man was very productive.17 And he began reasoning to himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?'18 Then he said, 'This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.19 And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry."'20 But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?'21 So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

22 And He said to His disciples, "For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on.23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!25 And which of you by worrying can add a single thour to his tlife's span?26 If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.28 But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith!29 And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.30 For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things.31 But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.32 Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.

33 "Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys.34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Be in Readiness

35 "Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit.36 Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.37 Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them.38 Whether he comes in the tsecond watch, or even in the tthird, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves.

39 "But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into.40 You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect."

41 Peter said, "Lord, are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?"42 And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?43 Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.44 Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.45 But if that slave says in his heart, 'My master will be a long time in coming,' and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk;46 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers.47 And that slave who knew his master's will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes,48 but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

Christ Divides Men

49 "I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!51 Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division;52 for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three.53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."

54 And He was also saying to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming,' and so it turns out.55 And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, 'It will be a hot day,' and it turns out that way.56 You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?

57 "And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right?58 For while you are going with your opponent to appear before the magistrate, on your way there make an effort to settle with him, so that he may not drag you before the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.59 I say to you, you will not get out of there until you have paid the very last cent."
