8 คน_เฝ้า_สวน_ตอบ_ว่า ‘นาย_ครับ ขอ_เวลา_อีก_ปี_เถอะ แล้ว_ผม_จะ_พรวน_ดิน_ใส่_ปุ๋ย_ให้_มัน

9 แล้ว_ถ้า_ปี_หน้า_มัน_ออก_ลูก_ก็_ดี_ไป แต่_ถ้า_ยัง_ไม่_ออก_ลูก_อีก ก็_ค่อย_โค่น_มัน_ทิ้ง’”

13 พระองค์_ก็_วางมือ_ลง_บน_ตัว_นาง หญิง_คน_นั้น_ก็_ยืด_ตัว_ตรง_ขึ้น_ทัน_ที และ_สรรเสริญ_พระเจ้า

14 แต่_ผู้นำ_ที่_ประชุม_ชาว_ยิว_โกรธ_มาก ที่_พระ_เยซู_รักษา_โรค_ใน_วัน_หยุด_ทาง_ศาสนา เขา_จึง_บอก_กับ_ประชาชน_ว่า “ใน_แต่_ละ_อาทิตย์ มี_เวลา_ทำ_งาน_ตั้ง_หก_วัน ให้_ไป_รักษา_กัน_ใน_วัน_เหล่า_นั้น อย่า_มา_รักษา_ใน_วัน_หยุด”

อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า_เหมือน_อะไร

18 พระ_เยซู_พูด_ว่า “อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า_เหมือน_กับ_อะไร เรา_จะ_เปรียบ_เทียบ_กับ_อะไร_ดี

19 มัน_เปรียบ_เหมือน_กับ_เมล็ด_มัสตาร์ด_ที่_มี_คน_นำ_ไป_ปลูก_ไว้_ใน_สวน เมื่อ_เมล็ด_นั้น_เติบโต_ขึ้น_ก็_กลาย_เป็น_ต้น_ไม้_ใหญ่ ที่_มี_นก_มา_ทำ_รัง_ตาม_กิ่ง_ก้าน_ของ_มัน_ได้”

20 แล้ว_พระองค์_ก็_พูด_อีก_ว่า “จะ_เปรียบ_อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า_กับ_อะไร_ดี

21 มัน_ก็_เหมือน เชื้อ_ฟู_ที่_ผู้หญิง_คน_หนึ่ง_ผสม_ลง_ไป_ใน_แป้ง_สาม_ถัง แล้ว_มัน_ทำ_ให้_แป้ง_ทั้ง_ก้อน_ฟู_ขึ้น_มา”

ประตู_แคบ

22 พระองค์_ก็_สั่งสอน_ไป_เรื่อยๆ_ตาม_เมือง_และ_หมู่บ้าน_ต่างๆ_ที่_พระองค์_ผ่าน_ใน_ระหว่าง_ทาง_ที่_ไป_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม

23 มี_คน_หนึ่ง_ถาม_ว่า “อาจารย์ คน_ที่_จะ_รอด_นั้น_มี_อยู่_นิด_เดียว_หรือ” พระองค์_จึง_ตอบ_ว่า

24 “คุณ_ต้อง_พยายาม_สุด_ความ_สามารถ_ที่_จะ_ผ่าน_ประตู_ที่_แคบ_นั้น_เข้า_ไป_ให้_ได้ เพราะ_จะ_มี_หลาย_คน_ที่_พยายาม แต่_ก็_เข้า_ไป_ไม่_ได้

25 เมื่อ_เจ้า_ของ_บ้าน_ลุก_ขึ้น_มา_ปิด_ประตู พวก_คุณ_ก็_จะ_ยืน_อยู่_ข้าง_นอก_เคาะ_ประตู และ_อ้อน_วอน_ว่า ‘ท่าน ช่วย_เปิด_ประตู_ให้_พวก_เรา_หน่อย_ครับ’ แต่_เจ้า_ของ_บ้าน_จะ_ตอบ_ว่า ‘เรา_ไม่_รู้_ว่า_พวก_เจ้า_เป็น_ใคร หรือ_มา_จาก_ไหน’

26 คุณ_จะ_ตอบ_ว่า ‘พวก_เรา_เคย_กิน_และ_ดื่ม_ด้วย_กัน_กับ_ท่าน_ไง และ_ท่าน_ยัง_เคย_สั่งสอน_พวก_เรา_ตาม_ท้อง_ถนน_ใน_เมือง’

27 เจ้า_ของ_บ้าน_จะ_ตอบ_ว่า ‘เรา_ไม่_รู้_ว่า_เจ้า_เป็น_ใคร หรือ_มา_จาก_ไหน ไป_ให้_พ้น ไอ้_พวก_ทำ_ชั่ว’

28 พวก_คุณ_จะ_ยืน_ร้องไห้_ขบ_เขี้ยว_เคี้ยว_ฟัน_อย่าง_เจ็บ_ปวด_อยู่_ที่_นั่น เมื่อ_เห็น อับราฮัม อิสอัค ยาโคบ และ_พวก_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_ทั้ง_หมด_อยู่_ใน_อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า แต่_พวก_คุณ_กลับ_ถูก_โยน_ออก_มา_ข้าง_นอก

29 จะ_มี_คน_มา_จาก_ตะวันออก ตะวันตก จาก_เหนือ_และ_ใต้_มา_ร่วม_ใน_งาน_เลี้ยง_ที่_อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า

30 แล้ว_คุณ_จะ_เห็น_ว่า_พวก_ที่_เคย_อยู่_ท้ายๆ_จะ_กลาย_มา_เป็น_พวก_แรกๆ_และ_พวก_ที่_เคย_อยู่_แรกๆ_จะ_กลาย_มา_เป็น_พวก_ท้ายๆ”

34 เยรูซาเล็ม เยรูซาเล็ม เจ้า_ได้_ฆ่า_พวก_ผู้_พูด_แทน_พระเจ้า_และ_เอา_หิน_ขว้าง_คน_ที่_พระเจ้า_ส่ง_มา_หา_เจ้า_จน_ตาย มี_หลาย_ครั้ง_ที่_เรา_อยาก_จะ_โอบ_ลูกๆ_ของ_เจ้า_เข้า_มา เหมือน_แม่_ไก่_กก_ลูก_อยู่_ใต้_ปีก_ของ_มัน แต่_เจ้า_ก็_ไม่_ยอม

Luke 13

Call to Repent

1 Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.2 And Jesus said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate?3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.4 Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem?5 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

6 And He began telling this parable: "A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any.7 And he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?'8 And he answered and said to him, 'Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;9 and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.'"

Healing on the Sabbath

10 And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.11 And there was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent double, and could not straighten up at all.12 When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your sickness."13 And He laid His hands on her; and immediately she was made erect again and began glorifying God.14 But the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, "There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day."15 But the Lord answered him and said, "You hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water him?16 And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?"17 As He said this, all His opponents were being humiliated; and the entire crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things being done by Him.

Parables of Mustard Seed and Leaven

18 So He was saying, "What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I compare it?19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and THE BIRDS OF THE AIR NESTED IN ITS BRANCHES."

20 And again He said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened."

Teaching in the Villages

22 And He was passing through from one city and village to another, teaching, and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem.23 And someone said to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?" And He said to them,24 "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.25 Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord, open up to us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.'26 Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets';27 and He will say, 'I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.'28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out.29 And they will come from east and west and from north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.30 And behold, some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last."

31 Just at that time some Pharisees approached, saying to Him, "Go away, leave here, for Herod wants to kill You."32 And He said to them, "Go and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I reach My goal.'33 Nevertheless I must journey on today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not have it!35 Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'"
