LUKE 14

Jesus Pibua ndi naan Daya adi Birandam

1 Di ndi andu Sabbath Jesus di man di ramin ndi naan daya Pharisee adi traŭn darŭm pangkat; ka bara daya nakit nyibatŭh Ayŭh. 2 Ndi naan daya adi bakak kaja tangan-i mandŭg tudu Jesus.

3 Jesus siken bara gurū Ukum-adat Jahudi samŭn bara daya Pharisee, “Agi kah mating Ukum-adat ta bada ata pibua daya di andu Sabbath?”
4 Ngara dŭh nang ani ani. Jesus bagan daya anŭ, pibua ayŭh ka bada ayŭh bu.

5 t Komŭnŭ Ayŭh nang di ngara, “Kambŭi ndi so angān biyŭn anak, puan kah sapi adi rabu ka darŭm rubang prigi di andu Sabbath, dŭh kah angān jam anŭ gŭh di andu Sabbath tambit-i so rubang prigi anŭ?”

7 Jesus kiris kada pingabang mien tarun yŭn guru adi kana dŭ, ka-I nyidundan upama ati di sopŭrŭg ngara: 8 t “Kan daya bagan angān ka gawai sawan, dŭhnyah guru di yŭn adi kana dŭ. Kadŭ te agi daya adi rabis bās so angān mbŭh dog bagan, 9 ka ayŭh adi mbŭh bagan so-duwŭh ngan re mandŭg ka nang di angān, ‘Bada ayŭh guru digiti.’ Ka angān darŭm mangŭh re di guru di yŭn adi rapat dŭ. 10 Ngapŭi kan angān dog bagan, di guru di yŭn adi rapat dŭ, isa kan ayŭh adi bagan angān mandŭg, ka nang di angān, ‘Maad kamati, guru di sambu.’ Nganŭ angān dapŭd puji di sirung jawin sopŭrŭg bara pingabang.

11 t Amai barang naan daya adi kibās adŭp-i re dog pirapat, ka barang naan daya adi pirapat adŭp-i re dog kibās.”
12 Komŭnŭ Jesus nang di sianŭ adi bagan adŭp-I, “Kan kuu ndai biruman kumbeng puan kah biruman singumi andu, dŭhnyah bagan dingan mu, puan kah jurud mu, puan kah madis mu, puan kah rasū mu adi kaya, amai ngara re bagan kuu dinge, ka kuu meh dog rapas ngara. 13 Pak kan kuu ndai gawai, bagan daya adi sirata, adi kipang, adi bajang, ka adi karak;

14 ka kuu re dog nyiberkat, sabab ngara dŭh tungang rapas kuu. Tapa re rapas kuu di andu bara daya adi kana makat so kabŭs.”

Upama Gawai bās

15 Kan ndi naan so ngara adi sua guru man dingah kayuh anŭ, ayŭh nang di Jesus, “Munki masam sanang inŭh ngara adi re guru man di gawai darŭm Ong Bauh Tapa!”t
16 Jesus nang di ayŭh, “Agi ndi naan daya ndai gawai bās, ka-i bagan bagŭ daya. 17 Kan gawai mbŭh sidia, ayŭh pait daya gaji-i da kidaan di bara pingabang, ‘Mandŭg meh, sopŭrŭg-i mbŭh sidia!’ 18 Pak sopŭrŭg ngara piguru, ndi ngga ndi, kidaan sitika-i. Adi diŭ nang di daya-gaji anŭ, ‘Aku mbŭh miris ndi engan tana ka aku dŭh siŭn dŭh matak di tingga-i; mite apun adŭ.’ 19 Sianŭ ndi nang, ‘Aku mbŭh miris rimŭh pasang dari sapi ka madin aku mbŭh re matak an suba-i; mite apun adŭ.’

20 Sianŭ ndi nang, ‘Aku bauh sawan; anŭ sabab aku dŭh bisa di.’
21 Daya-gaji anŭ pari ka kidaan sopŭrŭg kayuh anŭ di tuan-i. Tuan ramin buang-i baji nang di daya gaji-i, ‘Rikas matak ka barang aran ka sakap sakap aran di kupo, ka taban kamati daya adi sirata, adi kipang, adi karak, ka adi bajang.’ 22 Komŭnŭ daya-gaji nang, ‘Anŭ adi kaam ko mritah da ndai, mbŭh dog ndai, tuan, pak arŭn babŭ dŭh puno.’ 23 Jadi tuan ramin nang di daya-gaji anŭ, ‘Di ka aran rais ka sakap sakap aran di sapa kupo, ka bada daya mandŭg, isa ramin ku puno.

24 Aku kidaan di sopŭrŭg ngan, mating so ngara adi ko dog bagan re bisa kija pinguman ku!’ ”

Munki Nŭŭh Jadi Murid

25 Agi ndi sidah darŭm bara daya bagŭ samah panu ngga Jesus, Ayŭh bigiring ka nang di ngara, 26 t “Asi asi adi mandŭg ka Aku dŭh bisa jadi murid Ku kambŭi-i dŭh rindu Aku rabis so sindŭ sama adŭp-i, rabis so anak sawŭn-i, rabis so jurud madis-i, ka rabis so adŭp-i ani. 27 t Asi asi adi dŭh gŭrŭng rigang-i ka tunda Aku, dŭh bisa jadi murid Ku. 28 Kambŭi ndi so angān an ndai tawā, diŭ ayŭh guru ka kira kiang-ki biranja-i, sadang kah dŭh duit-i re ngga ngamas kraja-i. 29 Kambŭi dŭh, ayŭh dŭh re tungang ngamas tawā anŭ ripas puun pinagap rasan-i ko dog na; ka sopŭrŭg daya adi kiris ani adi mbŭh jadi re tawŭh ayŭh. 30 ‘Daya ati piguru pijog pak dŭh tungang ngamas kraja-i!’ ngara re nang. 31 Kambŭi ndi naan raja matak ngga simŭng ribu naan soldadu an rawan raja adi bŭkŭn adi matak ngga duwŭh puru ribu naan soldadu, ayŭh an diŭ guru bipikir ka natu sukup bake kah dŭh ayŭh nura raja anŭ ndi. 32 Kambŭi dŭh, ayŭh an pait pinyisung pinyisung-i da di bidapŭd ngga raja anŭ ndi, ka siken munki ngara bisa bidamai san ayŭh gibabŭ jo.

33 Simŭnŭ gŭh,” ngga Jesus kubo pinganang-I, “angān dŭh bisa jadi murid Ku kambŭi dŭh tingge sopŭrŭg kayuh adi angān biyŭn.

Garo adi Dŭh Biguna

(Mat 5.13; Mrk 9.50)


34 “Garo taŭn-i kana, pak kambŭi pide-i mating tia, mating aran re bada-i pide dinge. 35 Ayŭh dŭh biguna yŭn tana puan kah ndu tamŭh; ayŭh dog taran. Dingah meh garang, kambŭi angān biyŭn kajit!”

Luke 14

Healing Again on the Sabbath

1 Nowt one Sabbath when Jesus went to dinet at the house of a leadert of the Pharisees,s they were watchings him closely.2 Theret rightt in front of him was a man suffering from dropsy.s3 Sot Jesus askedt the experts in religious lawt and the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbaths or not?”4 But they remained silent. Sot Jesust took hold of the man,t healed him, and sent him away.t5 Thent he said to them, “Which of you, if you have a sons or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?”

6 Butt they could not replys to this.

On Seeking Seats of Honor

7 Thent when Jesust noticed how the guestst chose the places of honor,t he told them a parable. He said to them,8 “When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast,t do not taket the place of honor, because a person more distinguished than you may have been invited by your host.t9 Sot the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this man your place.’ Then, ashamed,t you will begin to move to the least importantt place.10 But when you are invited, go and take the least important place, so that when your hostt approaches he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up here to a better place.’t Then you will be honored in the presence of all who share the meal with you.

11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, butt the one who humbless himself will be exalted.”
12 Het said also to the mans who had invited him, “When you host a dinner or a banquet,t don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid.13 But when you host an elaborate meal,t invite the poor, the crippled,s the lame, andt the blind.s

14 Thent you will be blessed,s because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaids at the resurrection of the righteous.”

The Parable of the Great Banquet

15 Whent one of those at the meal with Jesust heard this, he said to him, “Blessed is everyonet who will feastt in the kingdom of God!”s16 But Jesust said to him, “A man once gave a great banquett and inviteds many guests.t17 Att the time for the banquett he sent his slavet to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, because everything is now ready.’18 But one after another they allt began to make excuses.s The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field,s and I must go out and see it. Please excuse me.’s19 Anothert said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen,s and I am going outt to examine them. Please excuse me.’20 Anothert said, ‘I just got married, and I cannot come.’s21 Sot the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the master of the household was furioust and said to his slave, ‘Go out quicklys to the streets and alleys of the city,t and bring in the poor,s the crippled,t the blind, and the lame.’22 Thent the slave said, ‘Sir, what you instructed has been done, and there is still room.’s23 Sot the master said to hist slave, ‘Go out to the highwayss and country roadst and urget peoplet to come in, so that my house will be filled.s

24 For I tell you, not one of those individualst who were inviteds will taste my banquet!’”t

Counting the Cost

25 Now large crowdss were accompanying Jesus,t and turning to them he said,26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hatet his own father and mother, and wife and children, and brothers and sisters, and even his own life,t he cannot be my disciple.27 Whoever does not carry his own crosss and followt me cannot be my disciple.28 For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesn’t sit downt first and compute the costt to see if he has enough money to complete it?29 Otherwise,t when he has laidt a foundation and is not able to finish the tower,t all who see itt will begin to make fun oft him.30 They will say,t ‘This mans began to build and was not able to finish!’s31 Or what king, going out to confront another king in battle, will not sit downt first and determine whether he is able with ten thousand to opposet the one coming against him with twenty thousand?32 If he cannot succeed,t he will send a representativet while the other is still a long way off and ask for terms of peace.s

33 In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.ts
34 “Saltts is good, but if salt loses its flavor,s how can its flavor be restored?

35 It is of no valuet for the soil or for the manure pile; it is to be thrown out.t The one who has ears to hear had better listen!”t
