2 พวก_ฟาริสี และ_ครู_สอน_กฎ_ปฏิบัติ_ก็_บ่น_กัน_ว่า “คน_นี้_ยอม_ต้อนรับ_คน_บาป_และ_ยัง_กิน_อาหาร_กับ_พวก_เขา_ด้วย”

3 พระ_เยซู_จึง_เล่า_เรื่อง_เปรียบ_เทียบ_นี้_ให้_ฟัง_ว่า

4 “สมมุติ_ว่า พวก_คุณ_คน_หนึ่ง_มี_แกะ_อยู่_หนึ่ง_ร้อย_ตัว แล้ว_ตัว_หนึ่ง_หลง_หาย_ไป เขา_จะ_ไม่_ทิ้ง_แกะ_เก้า_สิบ_เก้า_ตัว_ไว้_ใน_ทุ่ง_หญ้า_แล้ว_ออก_ไป_ตาม_หา_แกะ_ตัว_ที่_หาย_ไป_จน_กว่า_จะ_พบ_หรือ

5 เมื่อ_พบ_แกะ_ตัว_นั้น_แล้ว_เขา_ก็ดี_ใจ_มาก แบก_มัน

6 กลับ_มา_บ้าน แล้ว_เรียก_เพื่อน_บ้าน_เพื่อน_ฝูง_มา_พร้อม_หน้า_กัน_และ_บอก_ว่า ‘มา_ร่วม_ฉลอง_กัน_หน่อย เพราะ_ฉัน_พบ_แกะ_ที่_หลง_หาย_ไป_แล้ว’

7 เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า ใน_สวรรค์_ก็_เหมือน_กัน เมื่อ_มี_คน_บาป_คน_หนึ่ง_กลับ_ตัว_กลับ_ใจ ก็_จะ_เป็น_เรื่อง_ที่_น่า_ยินดี_มาก_กว่า_มี_คนดี_เก้า_สิบ_เก้า_คน_ที่_ไม่_ต้อง_กลับ_ตัว_กลับ_ใจ”

8 “สมมุติ_ว่า_หญิง_คน_หนึ่ง_มี_เหรียญ_เงินt อยู่_สิบ_เหรียญ แล้ว_ทำ_ตก_หาย_ไป_หนึ่ง_เหรียญ นาง_จะ_ไม่_จุด_ตะเกียง_และ_กวาด_บ้าน ค้นหา_ทุก_ซอก_ทุก_มุม_จน_กว่า_จะ_พบ_หรือ

9 เมื่อ_หา_เหรียญ_นั้น_เจอ_แล้ว นาง_ก็_เชิญ_เพื่อน_บ้าน_เพื่อน_ฝูง_มา_พร้อม_หน้า และ_พูด_ว่า ‘มา_ร่วม_ฉลอง_กัน_หน่อย เพราะ_ฉัน_พบ_เหรียญ_ที่_หล่น_หาย_ไป_แล้ว’

10 เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า พระเจ้า_ก็_ชื่นชม_ยินดี_อย่าง_นั้น_เหมือน_กัน_ต่อหน้า_พวก_ทูตสวรรค์_ของ_พระองค์ เมื่อ_มี_คน_บาป_คน_หนึ่ง_กลับ_ตัว_กลับ_ใจ”

พ่อ_ที่_มี_ใจ_เมตตา

11 พระ_เยซู_พูด_ว่า “ชาย_คน_หนึ่ง_มี_ลูกชาย_สอง_คน

12 ลูก_คน_เล็ก_พูด_ว่า ‘พ่อ_ครับ ช่วย_แบ่ง_สมบัติ_ส่วน_ที่_เป็น_ของ_ลูก_ให้_ด้วย’ พ่อ_จึง_แบ่ง_สมบัติ_ให้_กับ_ลูกชาย_ทั้ง_สอง_ไป

13 หลัง_จาก_นั้น_ไม่_นาน ลูก_คน_เล็ก_ก็_รวบ_รวม_ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_ทั้ง_หมด_ของ_เขา เดิน_ทาง_ไป_เมือง_ไกล และ_เขา_ก็_ใช้_จ่าย_เงิน_ทอง_อย่าง_สุรุ่ย_สุร่าย

14 จน_หมด_เนื้อ_หมดตัว พอ_เกิด_กันดาร_อาหาร_อย่าง_รุนแรง_ทั่ว_แผ่นดิน_นั้น เขา_ก็_เริ่ม_ไม่_มี_อะไร_จะ_กิน

15 เขา_ก็_เลย_ไป_รับจ้าง_ทำ_งาน_กับ_ชาว_เมือง_นั้น_คน_หนึ่ง เขา_ถูก_ส่ง_ให้_ไป_เลี้ยง_หมู_ใน_ทุ่ง_นา

16 เขา_หิว_มาก อยาก_จะ_กิน_อาหาร_ที่_หมู_กิน แต่_ก็_ไม่_มี_ใคร_ให้_อะไร_เขา_กิน_เลย

17 ใน_ที่_สุด เขา_ก็_สำนึก_ตัว_ได้_และ_พูด_ว่า ‘ลูกจ้าง_ของ_พ่อ_เรา_มี_อาหาร_กิน_อย่าง_เหลือ_เฟือ แต่_ดู_เรา_สิ กำลัง_จะ_อด_ตาย_อยู่_แล้ว

18 เรา_จะ_กลับ_ไปหา_พ่อ_และ_พูด_กับ_พ่อ_ว่า “พ่อ_ครับ ลูก_ได้_ทำ_บาป_ต่อ_พระเจ้า_และ_ต่อ_ตัว_พ่อ

19 ลูก_ไม่_สมควร_ที่_จะ_เป็น_ลูก_ของ_พ่อ_อีก_ต่อ_ไป ให้_ลูก_เป็น_ลูกจ้าง_คน_หนึ่ง_ของ_พ่อ_เถอะ_ครับ”’

20 ดัง_นั้น เขา_จึง_ลุก_ขึ้น_กลับ_ไป_หา_พ่อ_ของ_เขา ขณะ_ที่_เขา_ยัง_อยู่_แต่_ไกล พ่อ_ของ_เขา_ก็_มอง_เห็น_และ_เวทนา_สงสาร วิ่ง_ออก_ไป_สวม_กอด_และ_จูบ_เขา

21 ลูกชาย_จึง_พูด_ว่า ‘พ่อ_ครับ ลูก_ได้_ทำ_บาป_ต่อ_พระเจ้า_และ_ต่อ_พ่อ ลูก_ไม่_สมควร_ที่_จะ_เป็น_ลูก_ของ_พ่อ_อีก_ต่อ_ไป’

22 แต่_พ่อ_หัน_ไป_สั่ง_คน_ใช้_ว่า ‘เร็วๆ_เข้า_ไป_เอา_เสื้อผ้า_ที่_ดี_ที่_สุด_มา_ใส่_ให้_เขา เอา_แหวน_มา_สวม_นิ้ว_เขา_และ_เอา_รองเท้า_มา_ใส่_ให้_เขา_ด้วย

23 แล้ว_ไป_ฆ่า_ลูก_วัว_ตัว_อ้วน_พี_มา_เลี้ยง_ฉลอง_กัน

24 เพราะ_ลูก_ข้า_คน_นี้ ได้_ตาย_ไป_แล้ว_แต่_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา_ใหม่ เคย_หลง_หาย_ไป_แต่_ตอน_นี้_พบ_แล้ว’ แล้ว_พวก_เขา_ก็_เลี้ยง_ฉลอง_กัน

25 เมื่อ_ลูกชาย_คน_โต_ที่ทำ_งาน_อยู่_ใน_ทุ่ง_กลับ_มา_ใกล้_จะ_ถึง_บ้าน เขา_ได้_ยิน_เสียง_ร้อง_รำ_ทำ_เพลง_กัน

26 จึง_เรียก_คน_ใช้_เข้า_ไป_ถาม_ว่า ‘เกิด_อะไร_ขึ้น’

27 คน_ใช้_จึง_ตอบ_ว่า ‘น้อง_ชาย_ของ_ท่าน_กลับ_มา_บ้าน_ด้วย_ความ_ปลอดภัย พ่อ_ของ_ท่าน_ก็_เลย_ให้_ฆ่า_ลูก_วัว_ตัว_อ้วน_พี_เลี้ยง_ฉลอง_กัน’

28 พี่ชาย_โกรธ_มาก_และ_ไม่_ยอม_เข้า_ไป_ใน_งาน_เลี้ยง พ่อ_เขา_จึง_ออก_มา_ขอ_ร้อง_ให้_เข้า_ไป_ข้าง_ใน

29 แต่_เขา_ตอบ_พ่อ_ไป_ว่า ‘ดู_เอา_เถอะ ผม_ได้_รับ_ใช้_พ่อ_มา_หลาย_ปี และ_ไม่_เคย_ขัด_คำ_สั่ง_พ่อ_เลย แต่_พ่อ_ยัง_ไม่_เคย_ให้_อะไร_ผม_เลย แม้แต่_แพะ_สัก_ตัว_เพื่อ_เลี้ยง_ฉลอง_กับ_เพื่อน_ฝูง_ก็_ไม่_มี

30 แต่_พอ_ไอ้_ลูก_ของ_พ่อ_คน_นี้_กลับ_มา หลัง_จาก_ที่_ผลาญ_ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_ของ_พ่อ_ไป_กับ_หญิง_โสเภณี_จน_หมด_เกลี้ยง พ่อ_ก็_ฆ่า_ลูก_วัว_ตัว_อ้วน_พี_ฉลอง_ให้_กับ_มัน’

31 พ่อ_จึง_พูด_ว่า ‘ลูก_รัก ลูก_อยู่_กับ_พ่อ_ตลอด_เวลา ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_ทุก_อย่าง_ของ_พ่อ_ก็_เป็น_ของ_ลูก_อยู่_แล้ว

32 แต่_พวก_เรา_ควร_จะ_ดีใจ_และ_เฉลิม_ฉลอง_กัน เพราะ_น้อง_ตาย_ไป_แล้ว_แต่_ฟื้น_ขึ้น_มา_ใหม่ หลง_หาย_ไป_แล้ว_แต่_กลับ_พบ_กัน_อีก’”

Luke 15

The Lost Sheep

1 Now all the tax collectors and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him.2 Both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."

3 So He told them this parable, saying,4 "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?5 When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'7 I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

The Lost Coin

8 "Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?9 When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!'10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

The Prodigal Son

11 And He said, "A man had two sons.12 The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me.' So he divided his wealth between them.13 And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.14 Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished.15 So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.16 And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving anything to him.17 But when he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger!18 I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight;19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men."'20 So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.21 And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'22 But the father said to his slaves, 'Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;23 and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate;24 for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.' And they began to celebrate.

25 "Now his older son was in the field, and when he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing.26 And he summoned one of the servants and began inquiring what these things could be.27 And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has received him back safe and sound.'28 But he became angry and was not willing to go in; and his father came out and began pleading with him.29 But he answered and said to his father, 'Look! For so many years I have been serving you and I have never neglected a command of yours; and yet you have never given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends;30 but when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.'31 And he said to him, 'Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours.32 But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.'"
