ルカによる福音書 17

一七

1 　ある日のこと、イエスは弟子たちにお話しになりました。
「罪を犯させようとする誘惑は、いつもつきまとっています。　しかし誘惑する本人は、何ともいまわしいものです。　2 これら小さい者の心を傷つける者は、首に大きな石をくくりつけられて、海に投げ込まれるほうが、よっぽどましです。
3 　いいですか。　友達が罪を犯したら、注意してあげなさい。　そして悔い改めたら、赦してあげなさい。　4 あなたに対して日に七度罪を犯しても、そのたびに『悪かった。　赦してくれ』とあやまるなら、赦してあげなさい。」
からし種ほどの信仰
5 　ある日、使徒たちが主に、「もっと信仰が強くなりたいんですが、どうしたらいいでしょう」と尋ねました。
6 　イエスのお答えはこうでした。
「ほら、あそこに桑の木があるでしょう。　小さな、からしの種ほどの信仰でもあれば、あの木を根こそぎ海の中へ投げ込むことぐらい、ぞうさもないことです。　そう命令しさえすれば、たちまちそのとおりになります。　7-9 ところで話は変わりますが、畑を耕すか、羊の番をするかして一日中働いた奴隷が、帰って来るなりどっかと腰をおろし、食事を始めるなどということがあるでしょうか。　まず主人の食事のしたくをし、給仕をすませ、それからようやく、自分の食事をするのが普通です。　しかも、そうしたからといって取り立てて感謝されるわけでもありません。　当然のことをしたと思われるだけです。　10 あなたがたがわたしに従って来るにしても同じことで、特別ほめられることではありません。　義務を果たしているにすぎないのですから。」
11 　一行はエルサレムを目指して進み、途中サマリヤとガリラヤの境を通りました。　12 ある村に入ると、十人のらい病人がずっと向こうのほうから、　13 大声で、「イエス様ーっ！　どうぞお助けを！」と叫びました。
14 　イエスはそちらに目をやり、「さあ、祭司のところへ行き、らい病が治ったことを見せてきなさい」と言われました。　そのとおり出かけて行くと、途中で、らい病はきれいに治りました。
15-16 その中の一人が、イエスのところに引き返し、足もとにひれ伏して、「ありがとうございます。　おっしゃるとおり、すっかりよくなりました。　神様に栄光がありますように」と言いました。　実はこの人は、ユダヤ人から軽べつされていたサマリヤ人でした。
17 　「はて、十人全部を治したはずだが......、ほかの九人はどうしたのか。　18 神を賛美するために帰って来たのが、この外国人だけとは......。」
19 　こうおっしゃってから、イエスはその男に、「さあ、立ってお帰りなさい。　あなたの信仰があなたを治したのです」と言われました。
準備をして待て
20 　ある日、パリサイ人たちがイエスに尋ねました。　「神の国はいったい、いつ来るのですか。」
「神の国は、目に見える形では来ません。　21 『ここに来た』とか、『あそこに来た』とか言えないのです。　はっきり言いましょう。　神の国は、あなたがたの中にあるのです。」
22 　そのあとで、イエスは神の国についてもう一度、弟子たちにお話しになりました。
「まもなく、一日でいいからいっしょにいたいと願っても、わたしはもうここにはいない、という日が来ます。　23 その時にはまた、『イエス様は帰って来られた。　ここにおられるぞ』とか、『いや、あそこだ』というふうに、情報が乱れ飛ぶでしょう。　そんなうわさを信じたり、彼らのしり馬に乗ってあとを追いかけたりしてはいけません。　　24 わたしが帰って来る時には、はっきりわかるからです。　ちょうど、いなずまが空の端から端までひらめき渡るように、一目瞭然なのです。　25 しかしその前に、わたしはひどい苦しみを受け、この国の人々全部から、つまはじきにされなければなりません。
26 　わたしが帰って来る時、人々は、かつてのノアの時代のように、神のことなどには、まるで無関心でしょう。　27 ノアが箱舟に入り、洪水が押し寄せ、何もかも滅ぼし尽くすまで、人々は飲んだり、食べたり、結婚したりの、いつもと変わらない生活をしていました。
28 　また、ロトの時代の人々とも、比べることができるでしょう。　当時も、人々はいつもと同じように、食べたり飲んだり、売ったり買ったり、植えたり建てたりの生活をしていましたが、　29 ロトがソドムの町を抜け出した日に、火と硫黄が天から雨あられと降り注ぎ、一人残らず滅ぼされてしまったのです。　30 わたしが再び来る時も同じです。　その瞬間まで、『すべてがいつものとおり』なのです。
31 　その日、外出中の者は、荷物を取りに家へ戻ってはいけません。野良仕事をしている者も、家に帰ってはいけません。　32 ロトの妻がどんな目に会ったか、思い出しなさい。　33 だれでも、いのちにしがみつく者は失い、いのちを投げ出す者が、かえって自分のものにできるのです。　34 よく言っておきましょう。　その夜二人の男が一つの部屋に寝ていると、一人は天に上げられ、一人は残されます。　35-36 家事をしている二人の婦人のうち、一人は天に上げられ、一人は残されます。　また、畑でいっしょに野良仕事をしている二人の男も、同様です。」
37 　「主よ。　どこでそんなことが起こるのですか。」
「死体のあるところに、はげたかも集まるのです。」祈り続けなさい

Luke 17

1 And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!2 It were well for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.3 Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.4 And if he sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.7 But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say unto him, when he is come in from the field, Come straightway and sit down to meat;8 and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?9 Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded?10 Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do.11 And it came to pass, as they were on their way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off:13 and they lifted up their voices, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed.15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God;16 and he fell upon his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.17 And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?18 Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?19 And he said unto him, Arise, and go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.20 And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:21 neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.23 And they shall say to you, Lo, there! Lo, here! go not away, nor follow after them:24 for as the lightning, when it lighteneth out of the one part under the heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.25 But first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.26 And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.28 Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:30 after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.31 In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back.32 Remember Lot’s wife.33 Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.34 I say unto you, In that night there shall be two men on one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.35 There shall be two women grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.36 There shall be two men in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.37 And they answering say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles also be gathered together.
