1 พระ_เยซู_เดิน_เข้า_ไป_ใน_เมือง_เยริโค

2 มี_ชาย_คน_หนึ่ง_ชื่อ_ศักเคียส เป็น_หัวหน้า_คน_เก็บ_ภาษีt ที่_ร่ำรวย_มาก

3 เขา_อยาก_จะ_ดู_ว่า_พระ_เยซู_เป็น_ใคร แต่_เขา_มอง_ไม่_เห็น เพราะ_ตัว_เตี้ย_และ_คน_แน่น_มาก

4 เขา_จึง_วิ่ง_ไป_ข้าง_หน้า_พระ_เยซู แล้ว_ปีน_ขึ้น_ไป_ดัก_คอย_พระองค์_อยู่_บน_ต้น_มะเดื่อ

5 เมื่อ_พระ_เยซู_เดิน_มา_ถึง พระองค์_ก็_เงย_ขึ้น_ไป_พูด_กับ_ศักเคียส_ว่า “ศักเคียส รีบ_ลง_มา_เร็ว เรา_ต้อง_ไป_พัก_ที่_บ้าน_คุณ_วันนี้”

6 เขา_รีบ_ลง_มา และ_พา_พระองค์_ไป_บ้าน_ของ_เขา_ด้วย_ความ_ดีใจ

7 ทุก_คน_ที่_เห็น_อย่าง_นั้น ก็_บ่น_กัน_ว่า “เขา_ไป_เป็น_แขก_ใน_บ้าน_ของ_คน_บาป_ได้_ยัง_ไง”

8 ใน_วัน_นั้น_ศักเคียส_ลุก_ขึ้น_บอก_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ว่า “อาจารย์ ผม_จะ_บริจาค_ทรัพย์_สมบัติ_ครึ่ง_หนึ่ง_ของ_ผม_ให้_กับ_คน_จน และ_ถ้า_ผม_ได้_โกง_ใคร_มา ผม_ยินดี_จะ_คืน_ให้_เขา_ถึงสี่_เท่า”

9 พระ_เยซู_จึง_พูด_ถึง_เขา_ว่า “วันนี้_ความ_รอด_มา_ถึง_ครอบ_ครัว_นี้_แล้ว เพราะ_เขา_ก็_เป็น_ลูก_หลาน_ของ_อับราฮัม_ด้วย_เหมือน_กัน

10 บุตร_มนุษย์ มา_ก็_เพื่อ_เรื่อง_นี้_แหละ_คือ_เพื่อ_ค้นหา_และ_ช่วย_คน_ที่_หลง_หาย_ให้_รอด”

กษัตริย์_กับ_ทาส_สิบ_คน

11 ขณะ_ที่_พวก_เขา_กำลัง_ฟัง_เรื่อง_ต่างๆ_นี้ พระ_เยซู_ก็_เล่า_เรื่อง_เปรียบ_เทียบ_อีก_เรื่อง_หนึ่ง_ให้_ฟัง เพราะ_เกือบ_จะ_ถึง_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม_แล้ว_และ_พวก_ชาว_บ้าน_คิด_ว่า อาณา_จักร_ของ_พระเจ้า_จะ_ปรากฏ_ให้_เห็น_ใน_เร็วๆ_นี้

12 พระองค์_เล่า_ว่า “มี_เชื้อ_พระวงศ์_องค์_หนึ่ง กำลัง_จะ_เดิน_ทาง_ไป_แดน_ไกล_เพื่อ_ไป_รับ_การ_แต่ง_ตั้ง_ให้_เป็น_กษัตริย์ แล้ว_เขา_จะ_กลับ_มา

14 แต่_คน_เมือง_นั้น_เกลียด_เขา จึง_ส่ง_ตัวแทน_ตาม_หลัง_เขา_ไป_เพื่อ_บอก_ว่า ‘เรา_ไม่_อยาก_ได้_คน_นี้_มา_เป็น_กษัตริย์_ของ_พวก_เรา’

15 แต่_สุด_ท้าย_เขา_ก็_ได้_รับ_แต่ง_ตั้ง_ให้_เป็น_กษัตริย์ และ_ได้_เดิน_ทาง_กลับ_มา เขา_เรียก_พวก_ทาส_ที่_เขา_ฝาก_เงิน_มา_พบ เพราะ_อยาก_รู้_ว่า_พวก_เขา_ทำ_กำไร_ได้_เท่า_ไหร่

16 คน_แรก_มา_ถึง_และ_บอก_ว่า ‘เจ้า_นาย_ครับ เงิน_หนึ่ง_มินา_ของ_ท่าน ผม_เอา_ไป_ทำ_กำไร ได้_สิบ_มินา_ครับ’

17 เจ้า_นาย_ชม_เขา_ว่า ‘เยี่ยม_มาก เจ้า_เป็น_ทาส_ที่_ดี ไว้ใจ_ได้_แม้_แต่_เรื่อง_เล็กๆ_เรา_จะ_ให้_เจ้า_ดูแล_เมือง_สิบ_เมือง’

18 ทาส_คน_ที่_สอง_ก็_เข้า_มา_หา_และ_บอก_ว่า ‘เจ้า_นาย_ครับ เงิน_หนึ่ง_มินา_ของ_ท่าน ผม_เอา_ไป_ทำ_กำไร_ได้_ห้า_มินา’

19 เขา_ก็_บอก_ทาส_คน_นั้น_ว่า ‘เรา_จะ_ให้_เจ้า_ดูแล_ห้า_เมือง’

20 แล้ว_ทาส_อีก_คน_หนึ่ง_ก็_เข้า_มา_พบ_และ_บอก_ว่า ‘เจ้า_นาย_ครับ นี่_เงิน_หนึ่ง_มินา_ของ_ท่าน ผม_ได้_เอา_ผ้า_ห่อ_เก็บ_ไว้_ใน_ที่_ที่_ปลอดภัย

21 เพราะ_กลัว_ที่_ท่าน_เป็น_คน_ที่โหด_ร้ายทารุณ ชอบ_ยึด_เอา_ของ_คน_อื่น_มา_เป็น_ของ_ตน_เอง และ_ชอบ_เอา_เปรียบ_คน_อื่น_โดย_เก็บ_เกี่ยว_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_ตน_เอง_ไม่_ได้_หว่าน’

22 นาย_ผู้_นั้น_จึง_ด่า_ว่า ‘ไอ้_ทาส_ชาติ_ชั่ว เรา_จะ_ลงโทษ_เจ้า ตาม_คำ_พูด_ของ_เจ้า ถ้า_เจ้า_รู้_ว่า เรา_เป็น_คน_เข้มงวด ชอบ_ยึด_ของ_ของ_คน_อื่น_และ_ชอบ_เอา_เปรียบ

23 แล้ว_ทำ_ไม_ถึง_ไม่_เอา_เงิน_ไป_ฝาก_ธนาคาร เมื่อ_เรา_กลับ_มา_จะ_ได้_รับ_ทั้ง_เงิน_ต้น_พร้อม_ดอก_เบี้ย’

24 แล้ว_เขา_ก็_สั่ง_พวก_ทาส_ที่_ยืน_อยู่_ตรง_นั้น_ว่า ‘เอา_เงิน_ที่_เขา_มี ไป_ให้_คน_ที่_มี_สิบ_มินา_นั่น’

25 พวก_เขา_จึง_พูด_ว่า ‘เจ้า_นาย เขา_มี_ตั้ง_สิบ_มินา_แล้ว_นะ’

26 เจ้า_นาย_ตอบ_ว่า ‘เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า “คน_ที่_ทำ_ประโยชน์_จาก_สิ่ง_ที่_เขา_มี_อยู่_ก็_จะ_ได้_รับ_เพิ่ม_มาก_ขึ้น แต่_คน_ที่_ไม่_ได้_ทำ_ประโยชน์_จาก_สิ่งที่_เขา_มี_อยู่ ทุก_สิ่ง_ที่_เขา_มี_ก็_จะ_ถูก_ริบ_ไป_จน_หมด_ด้วย”

27 แล้ว_ไป_จับ_พวก_ที่_เป็น_ศัตรู_ของ_เรา_ที่_ไม่_อยาก_ให้_เรา_เป็น_กษัตริย์_มา_ฆ่า_ต่อ_หน้า_เรา_ที่_นี่’”

28 หลัง_จาก_ที่_เล่า_เรื่อง_เสร็จ_แล้ว พระองค์_เดิน_นำ_หน้า_พวก_เขา_ไป_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม

29 เมื่อ_พระองค์_เดิน_ทาง_มา_ใกล้_หมู่บ้าน_เบธฟายี_และ_หมู่บ้าน_เบธานี_ใกล้_ภูเขา_มะกอกเทศ พระองค์_ก็_ได้_ส่ง_ศิษย์_สอง_คน_ไป_ก่อน_ล่วงหน้า

30 พระองค์_สั่ง_เขา_ว่า “ให้_เข้า_ไป_ใน_หมู่บ้าน_ข้าง_หน้า_นั้น เมื่อ_ไป_ถึง คุณ_จะ_เห็น_ลูก_ลา_ตัว_หนึ่ง_ผูก_อยู่ ยัง_ไม่_เคย_มี_ใคร_ขี่_มัน_มา_ก่อน_เลย ให้_แก้_มัด_มัน_แล้ว_จูง_มา_ที่_นี่

31 ถ้า_มี_ใคร_ถาม_ว่า ‘แก้_มัด_มัน_ทำ_ไม’ ให้_ตอบ_เขา_ว่า ‘องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต_ต้อง_การ_ใช้’”

32 พวก_เขา_ก็_ไป_และ_พบ_ทุก_อย่าง_ตาม_ที่_พระ_เยซู_บอก_ไว้

33 ขณะ_ที่_แก้_มัด_ลูก_ลา_อยู่_นั้น เจ้า_ของ_ลา_ก็_ถาม_ว่า “แก้_มัด_มัน_ทำ_ไม”

34 พวก_เขา_จึง_ตอบ_ว่า “อาจารย์_ต้อง_การ_ใช้_มัน”

35 แล้ว_พวก_ศิษย์_ก็_จูง_ลา_มา_ให้_พระ_เยซู พวก_เขา_จัดแจง_เอา_เสื้อคลุม_ของ_ตน_ปู_บน_หลัง_ลา และ_ช่วย_พระ_เยซู_ขึ้น_ขี่_ลา_นั้น

36 ระหว่าง_ทาง_ที่_พระ_เยซู_ขี่_ลา_ผ่าน_ไป ชาว_บ้าน_มาก_มาย_เอา_เสื้อคลุม_มา_ปู_ตาม_ท้องถนน

37 เมื่อ_พระ_เยซู_มา_ถึง_สุด_ทาง_ที่_จะ_นำ_ลง_มา_จาก_ภูเขา_มะกอกเทศ พวก_ศิษย์_จำนวน_มาก_ต่าง_ก็_พา_กัน_โห่_ร้อง_สรรเสริญ_พระเจ้า_ด้วย_ความ_ยินดี_ใน_สิ่ง_มหัศจรรย์_ที่_พวก_เขา_ได้_เห็น_มา

38 พวก_เขา_โห่_ร้อง_ว่า “‘ขอ_พระเจ้า_อวย_พร_กษัตริย์_ผู้_มา_ใน_นาม_ของ_องค์_เจ้า_ชีวิต’ (สดุดี 118:26)
สรรเสริญ_พระเจ้า_ใน_สวรรค์_ที่_ให้_สันติสุข_กับ_เรา”

39 ส่วน_พวก_ฟาริสี_บางคน_ใน_ฝูงชน_ก็_พูด_กับ_พระองค์_ว่า “อาจารย์_ห้าม_ลูกศิษย์_ด้วย อย่า_ให้_เขา_พูด_อย่าง_นั้น”

40 พระองค์_ตอบ_ว่า “เรา_จะ_บอก_ให้_รู้_ว่า ถึง_แม้_พวก_เขา_จะ_หยุด_ร้อง หิน_พวก_นี้_ก็_จะ_โห่_ร้อง_ออก_มา_แทน”

พระ_เยซู_ร้องไห้_ให้_กับ_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม

41 เมื่อ_พระ_เยซู_มา_ใกล้_และ_มอง_เห็น_เมือง_เยรูซาเล็ม พระองค์_ก็_ร้องไห้_ให้_กับ_เมือง_นั้น

42 แล้ว_พูด_ว่า “เรา_เคย_หวัง_เหลือ_เกิน_ว่า วันนี้_เจ้า_จะ_รู้_ว่า_อะไร_จะ_นำ_สันติสุข_มา_ให้_กับ_เจ้า แต่_ตอน_นี้_สิ่ง_นั้น_ถูก_ปิด_ซ่อน_ไป_จาก_เจ้า_แล้ว

43 อีก_ไม่_ช้า_ศัตรู_ของ_เจ้า จะ_สร้าง_เนิน_ดิน_บุก_ขึ้น_กำแพง_ของ_เจ้า เจ้า_จะ_ถูก_ล้อม_ไว้_ทุก_ด้าน

44 เจ้า_และ_คน_ของ_เจ้า_จะ_ถูก_บุก_ทำลาย_ลง_อย่าง_ราบคาบ ไม่_เหลือ_แม้แต่_ซาก_หิน_ซ้อน_ทับ_กัน_ให้_เห็น_อีก_เลย เพราะ_เจ้า_ยัง_ไม่_รู้ตัว_เลย_ว่า พระเจ้า_ได้_มา_ช่วย_เจ้า_แล้ว”

Luke 19

Zaccheus Converted

1 He entered Jericho and was passing through.2 And there was a man called by the name of Zaccheus; he was a chief tax collector and he was rich.3 Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.4 So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way.5 When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, "Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."6 And he hurried and came down and received Him gladly.7 When they saw it, they all began to grumble, saying, "He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner."8 Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will give back four times as much."9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham.10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

Parable of Money Usage

11 While they were listening to these things, Jesus went on to tell a parable, because He was near Jerusalem, and they supposed that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately.12 So He said, "A nobleman went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and then return.13 And he called ten of his slaves, and gave them ten tminas and said to them, 'Do business with this until I come back.'14 But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us.'15 When he returned, after receiving the kingdom, he ordered that these slaves, to whom he had given the money, be called to him so that he might know what business they had done.16 The first appeared, saying, 'Master, your mina has made ten minas more.'17 And he said to him, 'Well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities.'18 The second came, saying, 'Your mina, master, has made five minas.'19 And he said to him also, 'And you are to be over five cities.'20 Another came, saying, 'Master, here is your mina, which I kept put away in a handkerchief;21 for I was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did not lay down and reap what you did not sow.'22 He *said to him, 'By your own words I will judge you, you worthless slave. Did you know that I am an exacting man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow?23 Then why did you not put my money in the bank, and having come, I would have collected it with interest?'24 Then he said to the bystanders, 'Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.'25 And they said to him, 'Master, he has ten minas already.'26 I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.27 But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence."

Triumphal Entry

28 After He had said these things, He was going on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.

29 When He approached Bethphage and Bethany, near the mount that is called Olivet, He sent two of the disciples,30 saying, "Go into the village ahead of you; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.31 If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' you shall say, 'The Lord has need of it.'"32 So those who were sent went away and found it just as He had told them.33 As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"34 They said, "The Lord has need of it."35 They brought it to Jesus, and they threw their coats on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As He was going, they were spreading their coats on the road.37 As soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen,38 shouting:
"BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD;
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, rebuke Your disciples."40 But Jesus answered, "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!"

41 When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it,42 saying, "If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side,44 and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation."

Traders Driven from the Temple

45 Jesus entered the temple and began to drive out those who were selling,46 saying to them, "It is written, 'AND MY HOUSE SHALL BE A HOUSE OF PRAYER,' but you have made it a ROBBERS' DEN."

47 And He was teaching daily in the temple; but the chief priests and the scribes and the leading men among the people were trying to destroy Him,48 and they could not find anything that they might do, for all the people were hanging on to every word He said.
